It’s seems that we are having
a goal feast for Christmas as our top team carry on with the goals.
In the English Prem, MANCHESTER
CITY have suffered their second Christmas defeat as they lose 2-1 away to LEICESTER CITY. But City have now
scored in all of their last four games and are now third in the table with a
total of 57 goals. Leicester take their goals total to 29. TOTTENHAM are in second place and going goal crazy as they win 5-0
at home to BOURNEMOUTH. Tottenham
with eleven goals in their last two games are now on a total of 49 goals while
Bournemouth picked up their seventh blank score sheet of the season. CHELSEA are fourth as they win 2-1 away
to Watford and they are now on 43 goals. ARSENAL
are now on 46 goals as they drew 1-1 away to Brighton. EVERTON have picked up their biggest result of the season as they
win 5-1 away to Burnley. FULHAM drew
1-1 at home to WOLVES which gives
both clubs a total of 22 goals each. LIVERPOOL
won 4-0 at home to Newcastle and they are now on a total of 44 goals and have
now scored in all of their last eleven games. MANCHESTER UNITED won 3-1 at home to Huddersfield and they are now on
a total of 39 goals.
In the Championship LEEDS UNITED
remain top after they won 3-2 at home to BLACKBURN.
Leeds are now on 41 goals and they have extended their goal run to eighteen
games. Blackburn are now on 42 goals. WEST
BROM in third place won 2-0 at home to Wigan and they are now on 55 goals. BIRMINGHAM won 2-0 at home to STOKE and they are now on a total of 37
goals while Stoke picked up their fifth blank of the season. ROTHERHAM lost 2-0 away to Bolton to
pick up their eighth blank score sheet and now two in a row. BRENTFORD
are on 41 goals as they drew 1-1 away to Bristol City. After a three game dry spell
for goals, NOTTINGHAM FOREST are now
on 44 goals as they drew 3-3 away to Norwich. HULL won 2-1 away to Preston and they have taken their goals total
to 29. IPSWICH picked up their
eleventh blank of the season after they lost 3-0 away to Queens Park Rangers. DERBY lost 3-1 away to Sheffield United
to give them goal number 43. ASTON VILLA
won 1-0 away to SWANSEA to take
their goals tally to 47 while Swansea picked up their ninth blank of the season.
In League One, PORTSMOUTH
are still top after they lost 2-0 away to Gillingham and that is their third
blank of the season after a goal run of thirteen games. LUTON are now just one point behind Portsmouth as they win 2-0 away
to SCUNTHORPE. Luton are now on 50
goals while Scunthorpe picked up their eleventh blank and now six in a row. SUNDERLAND are in third place as they
win 1-0 at home to Bradford. Sunderland are on 46 goals. PLYMOUTH lost 2-1 away to AFC Wimbledon and that is their 32nd
goal of the season. ACCRINGTON STANLEY
won 2-1 at home to SHREWSBURY and
they are now on 32 goals to Shrewsbury’s 34. BARNSLEY won 2-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH
and they are now on 47 goals while Borough picked up their fifth blank of the
season after a goal run of nine games. BURTON
ALBION are on 39 goals as they win 3-1 at home to WYCOMBE who are now on 40 goals. COVENTRY have been quite lately but they won 2-1 at home against CHARLTON and they are now on 27 goals
to Charlton’s 45. SOUTHEND won 1-0
away to Oxford Utd and they are on goal number 41. ROCHDALE won 2-1 at home to Blackpool and they are now on 38 goals
while BRISTOL ROVERS are on 28 goals
as they won 3-1 away to Walsall.
In League Two, LINCOLN CITY
are hanging on to the top spot here as they lost 2-1 away to Crewe. That was
their 52nd goal of the season. MK
DONS in second place lost 3-1 away to Cheltenham to pick up goal number 37.
MANSFIELD are now in third place
after they won 2-1 at home to Bury and they are now on 42 goals. OLDHAM picked up their eighth blank of
the season as they went down 6-0 away to Carlisle. EXETER won 2-1 at home to Yeovil and they are now on 38 goals SWINDON drew 1-1 away to Northampton
and they are now on 29 goals while NOTTS
COUNTY are on 29 goals as they lost 2-1 at home to Macclesfield.
In the Scottish Premiership, CELTIC are now three points clear of rivals Rangers as they win 3-2
away to ABERDEEN. Celtic have now
scored a total of ten goals in their last three games to take their goals tally
up to 54. Aberdeen are now on 37. RANGERS
in second place drew 1-1 at home to HIBERNIAN
and they are now on 49 goals while Hibs are on 33. After a two game dry spell
for goals, HEARTS are now on 43
goals as they win 2-0 at home to HAMILTON
who picked up their thirteenth blank score sheet and now just one goal in
their last five games.
