In Week Nineteen of the competition and we had our our sixth Rollover
of the season worth a total of £12 in cash and we had two players that had to
share the cash winning on a total of 12 goals each. Our winners have now
brought our winners total up to nineteen. Our winners were PHIL FRANKSEN and NATHAN TREADWELL.
Phil is in his third season with Golden Goals and last season he
finished in 94th place on a total of 259 goals. This season Phil has
been as high as 70th place and that was in our very first weekend of
football. He has picked up three blank score sheets to date and this is his
highest score of the season so far. Celtic is his best team.
Nathan has been with us for four seasons now and in his first season he finished
in 88th place on a total of 238 goals and he had a shared weekend
win. Last season he finished in the winning frame in 13th place with
a total of 308 goals. This season he has been as high as 29th place
in Week One and he has also had three blank score sheets. This is also his
highest score of the season with Celtic also being his best team. Our winners

MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
All but
four players picked some more midweek goals this week but it was LEE CLARK, PHIL COLLINS,
GRAHAM HARRIS and ADAM SANSOM who picked up the most amount of goals
with eight goals each. So the race for the cash has changed
once again this week.
GRAHAM HARRIS is still
out in front and just over half way to the cash as he has extended his lead to
a total of 52 goals as he picks up another eight goals from his combination of
Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom. In second place and now eleven goals behind Graham,
we have JOHN DAVIES moving up from four with a total of 41 goals. Still in third place with a
total of 40 goals we have TERRY WARWICK.
In joint fourth place all on 39 goals we have GARY BROWN and RYAN
WILLIAMS from two last week with
JAMES BLYTH down from three and JUNE TIGHE and DAVE WOOD coming up from five. Remaining in joint fifth place we
have ANN WELLARD and JACQUI WILLIAMS both on a total of 38
goals.
WEEKEND
RESULTS
This
weekend only two players failed to pick any goals this weekend as we near half
time. We had another really good weekend for goals although we had a total of six
teams without a game this weekend and another fourteen teams that failed to
score any goals. But even after that, the average score went up a bit from five
goals from last weekend to 6 goals this week.
The highest
score that we had this weekend came from two of our teams and they are both
Scottish, CELTIC and PETERHEAD with five goals each.
PREMIERSHIP
We now have the top eleven teams now in the prem with LIVERPOOL
moving to the top after they won 4-0 away to eighth place BOURNEMOUTH.
Liverpool are now on a total of 35 goals and they have now scored in all of
their last eight games. Bournemouth picked up their fourth blank of the season.
MANCHESTER CITY are now down to second place after they lost their first
league game 2-0 away to fourth place CHELSEA. That is City’s second
blank of the season after a goal run of eight games. Chelsea are now on 38
goals. TOTTENHAM are back up to third place after they won 2-0 away to LEICESTER
CITY in ninth place. Tottenham are now on a total of 35 goals while
Leicester City picked up their fourth blank of the season. ARSENAL are
down to fifth place as they win just 1-0 at home to Huddersfield with a very
late goal.
That is the Gunners 40th goal of the season. MANCHESTER
UNITED picked up their biggest result of the season by beating FULHAM
4-1 at home to move them up to sixth place in the league. United are now on 30
goals while Fulham picked up goal number 21. WEST HAM won 3-2 at home to
London rivals Crystal Palace and they are now on a total of 35 goals with nine
of them coming in their last three games. WOLVES won 2-1 away to Newcastle
to take their goals tally up to 19.
CHAMPIONSHIP
In the Championship, LEEDS UNITED are still our
highest team here in second place one point behind Norwich, after they won 2-1
at home to Queens Park Rangers. Leeds
have taken their goals total up to 37. DERBY are now in fourth place as
they win 1-0 away to Wigan to pick up goal number 41. BIRMINGHAM picked
up their seventh blank of the season as they lost 1-0 at home to Bristol City. SWANSEA
won 3-2 away to BRENTFORD and they are now on 25 goals while
Brentford are on 39 goals. BLACKBURN have now scored in all of their
last ten games as they drew 1-1 away to Middlesbrough. HULL drew 2-2
away to Millwall and they are now on 22 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST picked
up their third blank of the season as they lost 1-0 at home to Preston. ROTHERHAM
drew 2-2 away to Sheffield Wednesday and they are now on 25 goals. It’ still not
going well for bottom of the table IPSWICH as they lost 2-0 away to STOKE.
Ipswich have now failed to score in their last two games as they pick up blank
number ten. Stoke are now on a total of 31 goals.
LEAGUE ONE
We have the top five here with PORTSMOUTH still top as
they win 2-0 at home to SOUTHEND. Portsmouth are now on 40 goals while
Southend picked up their sixth blank score sheet. LUTON are second as
they win 2-0 at home to Fleetwood.
Luton are on 44 goals this week. Sunderland are in
third place after their game was abandoned due to the weather. PETERBOROUGH
are in fourth place as they drew 2-2 at home to Oxford Utd. Borough are now on
a total of 43 goals. Next comes BARNSLEY in fifth place as they lost 1-0
away to WYCOMBE. Barnsley picked up their fourth blank of the season
while Wycombe take their goals total up to 36. ROCHDALE drew 1-1 away to
AFC Wimbledon and that is their 33rd goal of the season. CHARLTON
are on 38 goals after they lost 2-1 away to Blackpool. It’s ten blank score
sheets for BRISTOL ROVERS after they lost 4-0 at home to Doncaster. BURTON
ALBION won 2-1 at home against SHREWSBURY to take their goals tally
to 35 while Shrewsbury are on 30. PLYMOUTH are on 29 goals as they drew
3-3 at home to Bradford. SCUNTHORPE picked up their eighth blank score
sheet and now three in a row as they lost 2-0 at home to Gillingham. COVENTRY
lost 2-1 away to Walsall and that is their 24th goal of the season.
LEAGUE TWO
Top two here with MK DONS on top after they won 2-0 at
home to Carlsile and they are now on 36 goals and have extended their goal run
to seventeen games. LINCOLN CITY are on 45 goals as they win 1-0 away to
Stevenage. EXETER lost 2-0 away to Bury and that is their seventh blank
score sheet and now two in a row. OLDHAM won 2-0 away to Crewe to take
their goals tally to 32. MANSFIELD won 2-0 against NOTTS COUNTY
at home to give them a total of 37 goals while County picked up their eighth
blank of the season. SWINDON won 2-1 at home to Newport and they are now on a
total of 27 goals.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership, CELTIC have gone top of the league as they win 5-1 at home to
Kilmarnock. It’s the third time that Celtic have scored five in a game and they
are now on a total of 44 goals. RANGERS have
dropped down to second place after they drew 1-1 away to Dundee. Rangers are
now on a total of 45 goals. ABERDEEN
lost 2-0 at home to St Johnstone and that is their sixth blank and now just one
goal in their last four games. HIBERNIAN
won 1-0 away to HAMILTON and that is
their 29th goal of the season while Hamilton picked up blank number
eleven and now two in a row. HEARTS picked up goal number 41 as they win 1-0 at
home to Motherwell.
In the Championship, Ayr United are still top with ROSS
COUNTY in second place after they drew 1-1 at home to Queen of South. County
are now on 36 goals. ALLOA drew 2-2
away to FALKIRK to take their goals
total to 24 goals while Falkirk are bottom of the table with 19 goals.
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still bottom of the league after they won 2-1
away to Brechin. Stenhousemuir are now on a total of 24 goals. DUMBARTON drew 1-1 at home to Airdrie to
take their goals tally up to 27 It’s 40
goals for. RAITH ROVERS in second
place in the league after they lost 3-2 away to Montrose.
In League
Two, PETERHEAD are still in second
place after they scored their biggest result of the season by winning 5-0 away
to Berwick. Peterhead are now on a total of 35 goals.

Our Best
teams this week are still SUNDERLAND after they have scored in all of
their last nineteen League and Cup games out of twenty-two played. They have a
total of 42 goals which gives them a average score of 1.9 goals per game.
Our worst
team is HAMILTON
this weekend as they have picked up a total of eleven
blank score sheets out of twenty-one league and cup games played this season. They
have scored a total of four goals in their last seven games.
Our biggest
result in our 36th Season are now WEST HAM UNITED who
won 8-0 at home against Macclesfield in the Carabao/League Cup Third Round in
Week Nine.
JAMES SOMERVILLE is back on top this weekend
as he collects a total of eight goals for the week with just five coming from
the weekend. James has now been top for a total of three weeks over the season.
His teams are once again Ayr Utd, Celtic and Manchester City. KELLIE STRATTON has moved back up to
second place and just one goal behind James, as she picked up a total of five goals
over the weekend and eleven over the week. Kellie has Celtic, Manchester City and
West Brom.
At the other end at 133 we still have
John Filtness at the bottom for his tenth
consecutive weekend as he picks up a total of seven goals for the week. He has now
had thirteen weeks at the bottom and he is now thirteen goals adrift this
weekend. His teams are Birmingham, Hamilton
and Liverpool.
