Liverpool keep up Pressure

More of the English Premiership teams have been in action. LIVERPOOL have kept up the pace with Manchester City as they win 3-1 away to Burnley. Liverpool are back to beginning  just two points behind City but they have now netted a total of 31 goals and they have scored in all of their last seven games. EVERTON are on 25 goals as they drew 1-1 at home to Newcastle. It’s 20 goals for FULHAM as they drew 1-1 at home to LEICESTER CITY. City are now on a total of 25 goals. MANCHESTER UNITED drew 2-2 at home to ARSENAL and they are now on a total of 26 goals to Arsenals 39 who have now scored in all of their last sixteen games. TOTTENHAM won 3-1 at home against Southampton to take their goals tally up to 33. CHELSEA lost 2-1 away to WOLVES and that was their 36th goal of the season while Wolves are now on 17.

In the Scottish Premiership, RANGERS have moved down to second place in the league after they lost 1-0 at home to ABERDEEN. After a two game dry spell for goals, Aberdeen are now on a total of 22 goals while Rangers picked up their fourth blank of the season. CELTIC are down to third place as they drew 1-1 away to Motherwell. That was Celtic’s 39th goal of the season. HAMILTON picked up their tenth blank score sheet of the season as they lost 4-0 away to Bottom of the table Dundee. HIBERNIAN drew 2-2 at home to St Mirren and they are now on a total of 28 goals While HEARTS drew 2-2 away to St Johnstone to take their goals tally up to 40 goals.
