Here in Week Three of the competition and this weekend we had three winners
who all won on a score of 11 goals once again. Our winners are MICHAEL PEPPERRELL, RYAN FC and RICHARD WILLIAMS
who have shared the £5 cash prize money this weekend. All of our winners picked
up their highest score to date collecting a total of £1.66 pence each. Two of
our winners are past Champions and they are Michael
in the 2002/03 Season where he finished in 4th place in our Champions League
with a total of 266 goals. Last season he finished in 35th place
with a total of 266 goals. Richard Champion in the
2015/16 Season finished with a total of 298 goals and is our 28th
highest Champion. Last season Richard finished in 43rd place with
263 goals. Ryan FC also belongs to Richard and the combo won some cash with two weekend wins
last season. The combo finished in 100th place with a total of 205

MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
We can now have
our second look at who is in the lead for our 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot worth
£25 this season. Taking the
lead after three weeks of football we still have RICKY WOOD our 2007/08 Champion and joining him is GEOFF CARTHY moving up from three last
week. Both are on a total of 23 goals. A bit behind them in second place we
have LUCIFER and PETER PORTER both up from three with BOB SAWYER up from four. All three are
on a total of 19 goals. In third place all with 18 goals we have GUY DOWSETT (2) down from two and in
the race this week we have TOBY BICKNELL
and SCOTT THOMSON (1). In fourth
place all with 17 goals we have EMMA
NEWMAN, MICHAEL PEPPERRELL, EMMA SAWYER, ANN WELLARD and TIM WOOD.
WEEKEND
RESULTS
We had another
full weekend of fixtures and another good weekend for goals. We had just three
teams with no game over the weekend with another fifteen of our teams that failed
to score any goals. So for our second weekend the average score was 7 goals. So
if your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this
weekend.
The Highest
score over the weekend was six goals and they once again came from CELTIC. They won 6-0 at home to St Mirren and it has
taken their goals tally up to 16 goals in four games. They have just nine votes
this season.
PREMIER LEAGUE
The premier league have now played their second league game and
it’s now CHELSEA at the top after they won 2-0 away to London rivals ARSENAL.
Chelsea are on a total of 5 goals while Arsenal have still yet to score any
goals. LIVERPOOL are in second place after they won 2-0 at home to
Burnley. Liverpool are also on a total of 5 goals. BRIGHTON are in third
place after they won 2-0 at home to WATFORD. Brighton are on four goals
now while Watford picked up their first blank of the season. Meanwhile ASTON
VILLA won 2-0 at home to Newcastle and they are on four goals. MANCHESTER CITY are at last on the scoring sheet
as they win 5-0 at home to Norwich. CRYSTAL PALACE drew 0-0 against BRENTFORD.
Still no goals from Palace and Brentford picked up their first blank score
sheet. MANCHESTER UNITED are on 6 goals as they drew 1-1 away to
Southampton. TOTTENHAM won their first game 1-0 away to WOLVES
and they are on two goals while Wolves picked up their second blank.
CHAMPIONSHIP
FULHAM are still top after their fourth
game after they won 2-0 at home to HULL. Fulham have scored in all of
their four games and are on a total of 10 goals. Hull picked up their third
consecutive blank score sheet. WEST BROM are now in second place as they
win 2-1 away to Blackburn. BOURNEMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to Blackpool and
they are on a total of 13 goals and a goal run of five games. CARDIFF have
also extended their goal run to five games as they win 3-1 at home to Millwall.
Cardiff are on 11 goals. READING lost 2-1 away to Coventry and that is
goal number 7 for them. DERBY picked up their first blank fo the season
after they drew 0-0 at home to Middlesbrough. PRESTON won 1-0 at home to
PETERBOROUGH and they are on a total of 6 goals while Borough picked up
their third blank score sheet. BARNSLEY drew 2-2 away to QPR and they
are on a total of four goals. After a run of two games with out a goal, SHEFFIELD
UNITED are on two goals as they lost 2-1 at home to Huddersfield. NOTTINGHAM
FOREST lost 1-0 away to Stoke and that is their first blank score sheet.
LEAGUE ONE
SHEFFIELD
WEDNESDAY are top here this
weekend with their third win of the season as they win 2-0 away to ROTHERHAM.
Wednesday are on 5 goals this week while Rotherham picked up their second blank of the season. WYCOMBE have moved down to second place after they win
1-0 at home to LINCOLN CITY. Wycombe are on 7 goals while Lincoln picked
up their second blank in a row. PORTSMOUTH are now in third place after
they drew 0-0 away to Doncaster. That is their first blank of the season. BOLTON
won 2-1 at home to OXFORD UNITED and they are on a total of 9 goals
to Oxford’s 6. BURTON ALBION lost 3-0 away to Cambridge Utd and that is
their first blank of the season. CHARLTON lost 2-0 at home to WIGAN and
that is their third blank score sheet as Wigan take their goals total to 6. IPSWICH
drew 2-2 at home to MK Dons and they are now on 6 goals. PLYMOUTH won
3-0 away to Shrewsbury and they are now on a total of 9 goals. SUNDERLAND are
on 7 goals as they win 1-0 at home to AFC Wimbledon.
LEAGUE TWO
The highest team that we have here are SWINDON in
third place. They have won their second league game 1-0 away to SALFORD CITY.
Swindon are on 5 goals while Salford picked up their second blank score
sheet. CARLISLE picked up their third goal of the season as they drew
1-1 at home to Leyton Orient. After four consecutive blank score sheets, EXETER
are on the score sheet after they won 4-1 at home to Bristol Rovers. SCUNTHORPE
drew 1-1 at home to SUTTON UNITED. It’s goal number three for Scunthorpe
while Sutton are on four. STEVENAGE drew 1-1 at home to Port Vale and
they are on 7 goals.
SCOTTISH
LEAGUES
In the Premiership ABERDEEN are our highest team here in second place. They drew1-1
away to HEARTS in third place.
Aberdeen are on a total of 6 goals while Hearts are on 15 goals and a goal run
of eight games. Celtic are in fourth
place and RANGERS are in fifth place
as they win 4-2 away to Ross County. Rangers are now on a total of 12 goals.
In the Championship KILMARNOCK
are now top of the league after they won 2-0 away to Hamilton. Kilmarnock are now on a total of 12
goals.
In League Two, new boys KELTY HEARTS are still on top of the league here after they won
their third league game out of four with a 1-0 home win against Edinburgh City.
Kelty have now scored a total of 16 goals.
STENHOUSENUIR drew 1-1 at home to Cowdenbeath and they are on 8 goals.

CHRIS BOLBERY is back at the top
this weekend after picking up a total of 11 goals from the week. Chris s teams
are Bournemouth, Celtic and Sunderland.
In second place is Geoff Carthy who
has Bournemouth, Rangers and West Brom, picked up a total of 14 goals this
week.
At the other end at 113 we have SAM LEGHORN
picking up six goals this week. Sam has Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham
and it’s her second weekend there.
