Premiership EVERTON went a goal
up in the first half against MANCHESTER
CITY with a goal by Rooney in the 35th minute. City left their
equaliser with just eight minutes left of play with a goal from Sterling. Both
teams had a player sent off, which gave Everton the advantage in the first
half. The Everton player was sent off with just a couple of minutes left to play.
The goals mean that City are now on three goals after two games and have moved
up to fifth place while Everton picked up their second and are now in eighth
place.
