In the English Premiership, MANCHESTER CITY failed to catch up on Liverpool at the top as they
went a goal up in the first half against Newcastle to only lose their fourth league
game of the season 2-1 at full time. The single goal gives City a total of 91
goals and a goal run of thirteen games. ARSENAL
won 2-1 at home against Cardiff and they are now on a total of 59 goals. FULHAM won 4-2 at home to Brighton and
they are now on 41 goals while EVERTON
won 1-0 away to Huddersfield to pick up goal number 43. MANCHESTER UNITED after
going 2-0 down against Burnley with nine minutes to go, they came back to draw
2-2. United have taken their goals tally up to 55. WOLVES are now on 36 goals as they beat WEST HAM 3-0 at home. West Ham have now had ten blank score sheets
this season.
In the Championship, SWANSEA
drew 3-3 at home to BIRMINGHAM. Swansea
are now on 47 goals while Birmingham are on 43.
In League One, WYCOMBE drew
2-2 away to Blackpool and they are now on 47 goals. SHREWSBURY are now on 44 as they lost 4-3 away to Bradford. BRISTOL ROVERS drew 2-2 at home to PETERBOROUGH and they are now on a
total of 32 while Borough are on 58. ACCRINGTON
STANLEY picked up their eleventh blank score sheet and now four in a row after they drew 0-0 away to Gillingham.
Accrington have now scored just one goal in their last seven games. LUTON won 3-2 at home to PORTSMOUTH and they are now on 61 goals
to Portsmouth’s 57. It’s 60 goals for BARNSLEY
as they drew 2-2 away to Oxford Utd.
In League Two, MANSFIELD
drew 1-1 away to Forest Green and that is their 53rd goal of the
season. MK DONS won 2-1 at home to OLDHAM
and they are now on 50 goals to Oldham's 49.
In the Scottish WILLIAM HILL CUP, ABERDEEN won their fourth round replay 4-1 away to STENHOUSEMUIR and they have taken their
goals tally to 47 while Stenhousemuir hit goal number 32.
In the Scottish Championship, AYR UNITED lost 3-2 at home to Inverness CT and they are now on a
total of 55 goals.
