Week Twenty-Six

In Week Twenty-Six of the competition we had our twenty-eighth winner of the season and that goes to our 1994/95 Champion GEOFF DOCKERILL on a score of  12 goals to pick up the full weekend jackpot of £6.
Geoff has been with us since our 1990/91 Season on where he finished in 30th place out of 52 and with a total of 232 goals. It was not till 1994/95 that he won the season with a total of 274 goals which keeps him in 33rd place in our Champions League. Last season, Geoff finished in 60th place out of 149 with a total of 277 goals. This season he has been as high as 25th place in Week One and this win has moved him up to his highest since then. He has picked up three blank score sheets so far and like most of you, Manchester City is his best team.

CELTIC 3, MANCHESTER CITY 5, SWANSEA 4

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
All but four of us managed to pick up some goals in midweek this week. The highest score that we had was with ten goals and they all went to SARAH MARSHALL who had Aberdeen, Celtic and Manchester United.
So the race for the cash has changed a little bit this week. Last week we had sixty-five players with 50 or more midweek goals and this week it has moved to eighty-seven.
JUNE TIGHE is joined with GRAHAM HARRIS this week as they are now both on a total of 79 goals. June has Derby, Manchester City and Tottenham while Graham has Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom. In second place and six goals behind our two leaders is JAMIE WOOD up from fourth place with 73 goals. In joint third place with a total of 72 goals we have up from fourth place both DANNY HARRINGTON and ANN WELLARD. In fourth place down from three on 71 goals we have KAREN SMITH. In joint fifth place all on 69 goals we have PHIL COLLINS and MICHAEL FISHER down from fourth place but also coming back in the race is SCOTT CLARK and KELLIE STRATTON.

WEEKEND RESULTS
This weekend the average score fell down from seven goals from last weekend to 6 goals this weekend. We had five players that failed to pick up any goals this week.
