WEEK NINE

Sheet nine of this season’s competition is now out and as you can see PAUL HUDSON is at number One again this week. Paul is now four goals clear of Chris Challis as Paul picks up a total of seven goals with his combination of Manchester City, Rangers and Watford.
At the other end of the table at number 103, we have had a different name each weekend. But this weekend we see Stuart Kemp in there with his second weekend. Stuart picked up just four goals from his combination of Manchester Utd, Southend and Tottenham.
BOURNEMOUTH picked up the highest score over the weekend with five goals. Bournemouth beat Millwall 5-2 at home and that score was their highest score of the season. Bournemouth have just one vote this season and this is their 8th Season with Golden Goals.
Bournemouth started with us back in our 1987/88 Season where they finished on a total of 63 goals. Their highest score to date is 79 scored in our 2002/03 Season. Their next appearance produced their lowest score of just 50 goals in our 2005/06 season. It was in 2008/09 season that they last appeared and finished with 61 goals.
So how are they doing this season? Well after a total of thirteen league and cup games, Bournemouth are now on 19 goals and they have had just one blank score sheet so far.
We still have three of our teams that have that 100% scoring record.  They are ARSENAL, NOTTINGHAM FOREST and RANGERS.
The top three teams that we have are now Rangers (35) Peterborough (33) and Watford (29) total of 97 goals.
Crystal Palace is our worst team again this weekend. They have only one vote this season and they have only netted a total of 6 goals in eight league/cup games. They have had four blank score sheets to date. The best that Palace has done with Golden goals was back in our 1996/97 Season with 93 goals.

Rangers are our best team this week with that total of 35 goals in just 9 league and cup games. That’s an average of just under four goals per game. As you know we have been following Peterborough to see if they can beat that winning end of season score back in our 2010/11 Season.
Well Borough are now three goals in front at this stage in that record season of 2010/11. Rangers could also beat this score as they are five goals in front this week.
