Wednesday Still Rock Bottom

In the Championship SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY picked up their fifth blank of the season and now two in a row after they lost 3-0 at home to SUNDERLAND. Wednesday have still yet to win a league game and have now lost seven of their nine games played. Sunderland have taken their goals tally up to 19 goals.

City Out of League Cup

 

We had another 13 of our Golden Goals teams in action in the third round of the League Cup. Out of them seven have made it through to the next round. The teams through to the next round are BOURNEMOUTH won 2-0 at home to STOKE and they are on a total of 10 goals. Stoke picked up their fifth blank of the season. ARSENAL won 1-0 away to Brentford and they are on a total of 12 goals. CHELSEA failed to score in their last three league games but won this round 1-0 at home to BRIGHTON. Chelsea are on a total of 8 goals while Brighton picked up their first blank of the season after a goal run of six games. FULHAM won 2-1 at home against NORWICH CITY and they are on a total of 8 goals while Norwich hit goal number 20. WEST HAM won 1-0 away to Lincoln City and they are on a total of 12 goals. LIVERPOOL won 3-1 at home to LEICESTER CITY and they have taken their goals total to 18 and a goal run of seven league/cup games. Leicester are on a total of 19 goals. NEWCASTLE won 1-0 at home to MANCHESTER CITY and are on a total of 17 goals. City after a goal run of six league games, picked up their first blank of the season.

Other teams that went out are ASTON VILLA after they lost 2-1 at home to Everton and they are on a total of 13 goals. 

In the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals we had another four of our teams in action. Out of them three are through to the semi-finals. They are HIBERNIAN who picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 4-2 at home to St Mirren. Hibs are now on a total of 15 goals. RANGERS won 4-0 at home to Livingston and they have taken their goals tally to 15 goals. ROSS COUNTY lost 2-1 at home to ABERDEEN. County are on a total of 24 goals while Aberdeen are on 11 goals.

League Cup Third Round

 

In the third round of the League Cup we had seven of our teams in action. More games will follow tomorrow.

Teams through are MIDDLESBROUGH after they won 2-0 away to Bradford City. Middlesbrough are on a total of 15 goals. IPSWICH won 3-2 at home to Wolves and they are now on a total of 24 goals and they have now scored in all of their eleven league/cup games this season. It’s 10 goals for MANCHESTER UNITED after they won 3-0 at home against CRYSTAL PALACE. Palace picked up their third blank of the season and now two games in a row without a goal.

Other teams that went out of the competition are SUTTON UNITED who lost 2-1 away to Port Vale. The single goal takes their goals total to 16. SALFORD CITY lost 4-0 at home to Burnley and that is their fourth blank of the season. PETERBOROUGH drew 2-2 away to Mansfield Town after the full 90 minutes. They then lost 3-2 on penalties. Borough are on a total of 17 goals and a goal run of seven league/cup games. 

In the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals KILMARNOCK lost 2-1 at home to Hearts and they are on a total of 17 goals.

Week Eight

In Week Eight of the competition we had a total of three winners to share the £5 prize money this weekend. All three are first time winners which now brings our winners total to 12 for the season. Our winners won on a score of 13 goals. They are LYANNA GRIMWOOD, SANSA GRIMWOOD and PETER WELLARD.

Lyanna and Sansa started with us in the 2020/21 Season in a joint entry. They finished in 34th place with a total of 267 goals. Since then they have gone solo and last season, Lyanna finished in 37th place with 276 goals and picked up three weekend wins while Sansa finished in the winning frame in13th place with a total of 301 goals. This season Lyanna with her personal best score, has had two blank weekend score sheets and this weekend is her highest to date. Sansa has been as high as 23rd position in Week Two. She has also had two blank weekend score sheets and this is also her personal best score. 

Peter joined Golden Goals back in the 2004/05 Season on where he finished in 57th place with a total of 261 goals and had two weekend wins. Last season Peter finished in 100th place with 212 goals. This season he has been as high as 22nd place in Week Two and picked up just one blank score sheet. This is also his personal best score. Here are our winners teams

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Nearly half of us picked up some goals in midweek, which means that there is yet another slight change in the race for the cash. In the lead we still have our 2015/16 Champion RICHARD WILLIAMS with 27 goals. In second place we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) with a total of 25 goals. Remaining In third place we have BAILEY MORAN with a total of 21 goals. In fourth place now with 18 goals each we still have ANDY EYLES he is now joined with MALCOLM STUBBS down from three and  JAMES SOMERVILLE moving up from five. In fifth place we have GUY DOWSETT (1) and MARK JOHNSTON both down from fourth place with 16 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

For once we had all of our teams in action over the weekend, but nine of our teams failed to score any goals. We had a fantastic weekend of football with plenty of goals. That means that the average score moved up from five last weekend to 6 goals this weekend. So if your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this weekend.

The Highest score over the weekend was a record braking 8 goals and they came from the Premier League where NEWCASTLE won 8-0 away to Sheffield United. With their biggest result of the season, Newcastle have now doubled their goals total to 16 goals. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

Top of the table MANCHESTER CITY won 2-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST. City have taken their goals total up to 16 goals and they have now scored in all of their six league games played. Forest picked up their second blank of the season. LIVERPOOL are in second place after they won 3-1 at home to WEST HAM. Liverpool have extended their goal run to six games and now have a total of 15 goals. West Ham also keep their 100% scoring record after six games and picked up goal number 11. ARSENAL drew 2-2 against TOTTENHAM and they have also kept their 100% scoring record after six games. Arsenal are on a total of 11 goals. Tottenham have scored in all of their seven league/cup games and are on a total of 16 goals. CRYSTAL PALACE drew 0-0 at home to FULHAM on where both teams picked up their second blank score sheet of the season. MANCHESTER UNITED won their third league game 1-0 away to Burnley. United are on a total of 7 goals. BRIGHTON won 3-1 at home to BOURNEMOUTH and have taken their goals tally to 18 and they have scored in all of their six league games. Bournemouth are on a total of 8 goals. CHELSEA lost 1-0 at home to ASTON VILLA and that is their third blank score sheet in a row. Villa are on a total of 12 goals.  

CHAMPIONSHIP

LEICESTER CITY are top now after they won 1-0 at home to BRISTOL CITY. Leicester are on a total of 18 goals while Bristol picked up their fourth blank score sheet. IPSWICH are now in second place after they picked up their biggest result 4-3 at home to Blackburn. Ipswich have kept their 100% scoring record going after a total of ten league/cup games. They are now on a total of 21 goals. PLYMOUTH won 6-2 at home against NORWICH. Plymouth with their biggest result to date are now on a total of 20 goals and a goal run of seven league/cup games. Norwich are on a total of 19 goals. LEEDS UNITED won 3-0 at home against Watford and they have taken their goals total to 16. MIDDLESBROUGH won 2-1 at home to SOUTHAMPTON and they are on a total of 13 goals while Southampton also picked up goal number 13. SWANSEA won 3-0 at home to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY and they have taken their goals tally to 15. Wednesday picked up their fourth blank score sheet. STOKE lost 3-1 at home to Hull and they are on a total of 16 goals. SUNDERLAND lost 1-0 at home to Cardiff City and that is their second blank of the season. 

LEAGUE ONE

BLACKPOOL picked up their biggest result of the season after they won 4-1 at home to READING. Blackpool are now on a total of 10 goals while Reading are on 13 goals. PETERBOROUGH drew 1-1 away to Bolton and they are on a total of 15 goals and a goal run of six league/cup games. BRISTOL ROVERS also picked up their biggest result of the season after they won 4-1 at home against Wigan. Rovers are now on a total of 12 goals. DERBY won 2-0 away to Carlisle and they are on a total of 14 goals and a goal run of seven league/cup games. BARNSLEY won 2-1 away to Northampton and they have kept their 100% scoring record going after a total of ten league/cup games and now have a total of 22 goals. CHARLTON won 3-1 at home to Wycombe and with their biggest result of the season, are on a total of 12 goals and a goal run of six league/cup games. 

LEAGUE TWO

NOTTS COUNTY are now top of the table this week after they won 4-3 at home to Forest Green. County with their biggest result of the season, are now on a total of 19 goals and a goal run of six league/cup games. SALFORD CITY lost 3-2 away to Harrogate and they are on a total of 14 goals. WREXHAM lost 5-0 away to Stockport and that is their second blank score sheet after a goal run of seven league/cup games. SUTTON UNITED drew 1-1 at home to MK DONS and picked up goal number 15 while the Dons hit goal number 16 and they have a goal run of eight league/cup games. AFC WIMBLEDON won 3-1 away to Walsall and they are now on a total of 18 goals. They have now scored in all of their last ten league/cup games. 

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the Premiership CELTIC are still at the top of the table after they won 3-0 away to Livingston. Celtic have taken their goals tally to 14. RANGERS won 1-0 at home to Motherwell and are on a total of 11 goals and now up to third place in the league. ABERDEEN picked up their biggest result of the season with a 4-0 home win against ROSS COUNTY. Aberdeen have taken their goals tally to 9 while County picked up their second blank of the season. KILMARNOCK drew 2-2 at home to away to Dundee and they are on a total of 16 goals. HIBERNIAN won 2-0 at home to St Johnston and they have taken their goals total to 13 and a goal run of seven league/cup games.

In League One FALKIRK are still top after they picked up their highest result of the season to date by winning 5-1 away to KELTY HEARTS. Falkirk have now scored in all of their last eight league/cup games and have a total of 28 goals. Kelty are on a total of 19 goals. It’s 20 goals for COVE RANGERS after they drew 2-2 away to Edinburgh City. 

In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are top of the table this weekend after they won 1-0 away to Bonnyrigg Rose. Stenhousemuir are on a total of 14 goals. EAST FIFE drew 2-2 away to The Spartans and are on a total of 9 goals. CLYDE after they had failed to score in their last three games, won 2-1 at home to Elgin and are on a total of 8 goals.

Our Best performing team is BARNSLEY after they have now scored in all of their 10 league/cup games. They have a total of 22 goals which gives them an average score of 2 goals per game. 

Our worst performing team is BLACKPOOL this weekend as they have picked up six blank score sheets in their 10 league/cup games. 

Our highest goal scoring team in our 41st Season are now NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight.  BARNSLEY pick up our second highest score after they won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One.

RICHARD WILLIAMS our 2015/16 Champion is at the top for his seventh consecutive weekend. Richard picked up a total of 7 goals all from the weekend once again. His teams are Falkirk, Manchester City and Ross County.  He is still way out in front but now 11 goals clear of Andy Eyles who has moved up to second place. Andy picked up a total of 9 goals this week from his teams of  Barnsley, Leicester City and Manchester City.

At the other end at 110 we now have STALKY (1) (Bob Burgin) for his first weekend with his first combination. Bob picked up just 3 goals all from the weekend. His teams are Manchester United, Rangers and West Ham.

Leicester City Remain Second

In the Championship LEICESTER CITY who are still in second place won 2-0 away to NORWICH and they are on a total of 17 goals. Norwich after scoring in all of their previous eight games, picked up their first blank score sheet of the season. SUNDERLAND picked another three goals in their 3-1 away win against Blackburn Rovers. Sunderland are now on a total of 16 goals. After they had failed to score in their last two games, STOKE drew 2-2 away to Huddersfield and they are on a total of 15 goals. LEEDS UNITED drew 0-0 away to Hull and that is their third blank of the season.

High Scoring Bristol City

In the Championship BRISTOL CITY won 4-1 at home against PLYMOUTH and have taken their goals tally up to 14 goals while Plymouth are also on 14 goals. SWANSEA drew 1-1 away to QPR and they are on a total of 12 goals. SOUTHAMPTON lost 1-0 at home to IPSWICH and that is their second blank of the season and now just one goal in their last three games. Ipswich are on a total of 17 goals and have extended their goal run to nine games, keeping their 100% scoring record. After they had failed to score in their last two games, SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY picked up goal number 7 after they drew 1-1 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH. Middlesbrough are on a total of 11 goals. 

In League One BARNSLEY lost 3-2 at home to Portsmouth and are on a total of 20 goals and they have kept their 100% scoring record going after nine games. PETERBOROUGH won 3-0 at home to Cheltenham and are now on a total of 14 goals.

Week Seven

In Week Seven of the competition we had our first Rollover of the season worth £10. We had a total of five players that picked up the highest weekend score of 9 goals each. Our winners that shared the prize money are STEVE AYRES, ROSE COLLINS, CHRIS NUNN, ALBERT SPENCER and ALICE STUBBS (2). We have now had a total of nine winners to date as two of our winners have now won twice this season. They are Chris Nunn who won in Week Three and Albert Spencer in Week Four. WEEKEND RESULTS

We had 5 of our teams with no game over the weekend with another nine teams that failed to score any goals.  That means that for the third weekend running the average score remained at 5 goals. So if your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this weekend. The Highest score over the weekend was 5 goals and they came from the Scottish League Two STENHOUSEMUIR. They picked up their highest result of the season, so far with a 5-0 home win against Stranraer. Stenhousemuir are now in second place in the league and they have taken their goals tally to 13.

Stenhousemuir became our 8th Scottish team to join Golden Goals in the 1985/86 Season. In their first season they finished with a total of 56 goals. Their highest end of season total was in the 2012/13 Season with 72 goals. Last season they finished with 64 goals. This is their 17th Season with us and over the years they have netted a total of 896 goals which gives them an average of 52 goals per season to date. This season they have just one vote again and they have picked up a total of three blank score sheets in 10 league/cup games. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

Top of the table MANCHESTER CITY won 3-1 away to WEST HAM. City have taken their goals total up to 14 goals and they have now scored in all of their five league games. West Ham picked up goal number 10. TOTTENHAM are in second place after they won 2-1 at home to Sheffield United. Tottenham are on a total of 14 goals and they have now scored in all of their six league/cup games. LIVERPOOL picked up another three goals as they win 3-1 away to Wolves. Notts County are still in second place this week with WREXHAM now in fourth place as they win yet again 3-0 at home against Grimsby. Wrexham are now on a total of 17 goals and a goal run of seven league/cup games. SUTTON UNITED lost 4-1 away to Accrington and picked up goal number 14. AFC WIMBLEDON drew 2-2 at home to Crewe and are on a total of 14 goals. They have now scored in all of their last nine league/cup games. MK DONS lost 2-1 at home to Stockport and are on a total of 15 goals. 

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

Leicester City Top For Now

Well it is so nice to have the football league back in action again.

In the Championship LEICESTER CITY picked up their biggest win of the season after they won 4-1 away to SOUTHAMPTON. The win has put Leicester at the top of the league they now have a total of 15 goals while Southampton are on a total of 12 goals. 

In League Two top of the table NOTTS COUNTY won 2-0 away to SALFORD CITY. County are on a total of 15 goals and a goal run of 5 league/cup games. Salford picked up their third blank of the season.

Week Six

In Week Six of the competition, there was no Weekend Prize Money due to the Euro qualifying rounds being played over the weekend. So next weekend we will have our first Rollover of the season worth £10. It was KEITH RATTLE that picked up the highest score over the weekend with 3 goals. His teams are Arsenal, Celtic and Sutton United.

With just one of our teams in midweek action in which they failed to score, the leaders have remained the same as last week. In the lead we still have our 2015/16 Champion RICHARD WILLIAMS with 27 goals. In second place we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) with a total of 25 goals. In third place we have MALCOLM STUBBS with 16 goals. In fourth place with 14 goals we have MIKE LIDDLE. In fifth place with 13 goals we have SAMUEL STEPHENS. In sixth place we have CHRIS BOLBERY our 2017/18 Champion, BAILEY MORAN and STEVE STUBBS all with a total of 12 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had just 6 of our teams in action over the weekend and the great news is that they all scored goals. That means that only 17 players picked up some goals this weekend. Most players picked up their first weekend blank score sheet and some picked up their second blank of the season. Here are the results.

LEAGUE TWO

NOTTS COUNTY are down to second place this week after they drew 1-1 away to MK DONS. County are now on a total of 13 goals while the Dons are on 14 goals and have now scored in all of their last six league/cup games. WREXHAM have now won their second league game with a 2-1 at home to Doncaster. Wrexham are on a total of 14 goals and a goal run of six league/cup games. AFC WIMBLEDON lost 2-1 at home to Stockport and are on a total of 13 goals and a goal run of eight league/cup games. SUTTON UNITED lost 5-3 away to Swindon and they have taken their goals tally to 13. SALFORD CITY lost 2-1 at home to Walsall and are on a total of 12 goals.

Our Best performing team is BARNSLEY after they have now scored in all of their 7 league/cup games. They have a total of 16 goals which gives them an average score of 2 goals per game.

Our worst performing team is EAST FIFE this weekend as they have picked up six blank score sheets in their 9 league/cup games.

Our highest goal scoring team in our 41st Season are BARNSLEY. They won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One.

RICHARD WILLIAMS our 2015/16 Champion is at the top for his fifth consecutive weekend even though he had none of his teams in action this week. Richards teams are Falkirk, Manchester City and Ross County.  He is still way out in front and still 13 goals clear of Charlie Farley (John Wood) in second place with Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. Charlie Farley also had none of his teams in action over the week.

At the other end at 110 we still have STALKY (2) (Bob Burgin) for his second week there. Bob also had none of his teams in action this week. His teams of Celtic, Fulham and Newcastle.

Reading Need Points

In League One READING have now won just two of their six league games after they lost 1-0 away to Cambridge United. Reading have now had a total of three blank score sheets.

Week Five

Here we are with Week Five of the competition and this weekend we had two players to share the Weekend Jackpot of £5. Our winners are SAM LEGHORN and RICKY MILES who won on a score of 13 goals each. That now brings our winners total to six.

Sam started with Golden Goals back in the 2019/20 Season and she finished in the winning frame in 18th place with a total of 304 goals. Last season Sam finished in 29th place with a total of 284 goals and picked up two weekend wins. This season Sam is at her highest position to date and has picked up just one blank score sheet in Week One.

Ricky started with us back in the 2017/18 Season on where he finished in 56th place with a total of 278 goals and picked up one weekend win. Last season Ricky finished in 45th place with 269 goals. This season we also see Ricky at his highest position and once again he has one blank score sheet in Week One. Our Winners teams for this season are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Here is how the race for our 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot worth a total of £25 is looking this season. The prize money will go to the first person to reach 100 goals from their three teams. MALCOM STUBBS picked up the most goals this week with a total of 8 goals. They came from Chelsea, Manchester City and Stoke. We have all now picked up some midweek goals this season, so the race is well on the way.

In the lead we still have our 2015/16 Champion RICHARD WILLIAMS with 27 goals. In second place we still have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) with a total of 25 goals. In third place we now have MALCOLM STUBBS with 16 goals. In fourth place with 14 goals we now have MIKE LIDDLE. In fifth place with 13 goals we have SAMUEL STEPHENS this week. In sixth place we have CHRIS BOLBERY our 2017/18 Champion, BAILEY MORAN and STEVE STUBBS all with a total of 12 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had just two of our teams with no game over the weekend with another sixteen of our teams that failed to score any goals. So that means that for the second weekend running the average score was 5 goals. So if your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this weekend. The Highest score over the weekend was 5 goals once again and we had a total of three teams that picked that score up. Here are the results. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

MANCHESTER CITY are still top place after they won 5-1 at home to FULHAM. With their biggest result of the season, City have taken their goals tally to 11 goals and have won all four opening league games. Fulham are on a total of 5 goals. In second place we have TOTTENHAM who picked up their biggest win of the season with a 5-2 away win over Burnley and have taken their goals total to 12 goals and a goal run of five games. LIVERPOOL are in third place after they won 3-0 at home to ASTON VILLA. Liverpool are now on a total of 9 goals while Villa picked up their first blank score sheet. BOURNEMOUTH drew 2-2 away to Brentford and are on a total of 7 goals. CHELSEA picked up their first blank of the season as they lost 1-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST. Forest are on 6 goals. BRIGHTON won 3-1 at home to NEWCASTLE and are now on a total of 12 goals while Newcastle are on 7 goals. CRYSTAL PALACE won 3-2 at home to Wolves and are on a total of 9 goals. ARSENAL won 3-1 at home to MANCHESTER UNITED with two very late goals. Arsenal are on a total of 8 goals while United are on 5 goals. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

IPSWICH TOWN are our highest team here this weekend in second place after they won 3-2 at home to Cardiff City. Ipswich keep their 100% scoring record to seven league/cup games and they are now on a total of 15 goals. LEICESTER CITY are in third place after they lost 1-0 at home to Hull. Leicester’s goal run of six league/cup games has come to the end to pick up their first blank of the season. SUNDERLAND picked up their biggest result of the season as they win 5-0 at home against SOUTHAMPTON. Sunderland have taken their goals tally to 10 goals while Southampton picked up their first blank score sheet. SWANSEA lost 2-1 at home to BRISTOL CITY  and picked up goal number 13 and keep their 100% scoring record after seven league/cup games. Bristol City are on 10 goals. LEEDS UNITED drew 0-0 at home to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY with both teams picking up their second blank of the season. MIDDLESBROUGH lost 2-0 at home to QPR and that is their third blank score sheet and have still not won any league games. PLYMOUTH won 3-0 at home to Blackburn and they are now on a total of 12 goals. NORWICH CITY lost 2-1 away to Rotherham and are on a total of 16 goals and have now scored in all of their seven league/cup games. After their league cup success, STOKE lost 2-0 at home to Preston and picked up their third blank score sheet. 

LEAGUE ONE

After they had failed to score in their last five league/cup games, BLACKPOOL are on a total of 6 goals after they won 2-1 at home against Wigan. DERBY lost 2-1 away to Bolton and are on a total of 11 goals and a goal run of five games. BRISTOL ROVERS drew 1-1 at home to Lincoln City and are on a total of 6 goals. CHARLTON won their first league game 2-1 at home to Fleetwood. Charlton are on a total of 8 goals. BARNSLEY won 2-0 away to Cheltenham and are on a total of 16 goals and they have also kept their 100% scoring record after seven league/cup games. It’s 10 goals for PETERBOROUGH after they lost 3-1 away to Portsmouth. 

LEAGUE TWO

NOTTS COUNTY are top this week after they won 3-1 at home to Accrington. County are now on a total of 12 goals. MK DONS are down to second place after they lost 3-1 away to Crewe. The dons are on a total of 13 goals and a goal run of five games. WREXHAM have won their first league game with a 1-0 away win over Tranmere. Wrexham are on a total of 12 goals and a goal run of five games. SALFORD CITY lost 1-0 away to Morecambe and picked up their second blank of the season. AFC WIMBLEDON drew 2-2 away to Newport and are on a total of 12 goals and a goal run of seven league/cup games. SUTTON UNITED lost 1-0 at home against Forest Green and that is their third blank of the season. 

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the Premiership CELTIC are very lucky to be top of the table this weekend after they won 1-0 away to rivals RANGERS after, Rangers had two goals disallow. After they had failed to score in their previous two games, Celtic are on a total of 8 goals. Rangers picked up their second blank of the season. KILMARNOCK lost 1-0 at home to ROSS COUNTY. As Kilmarnock picked up their second blank of the season, County have taken their goals total to 22. ABERDEEN lost 2-0 at home to HIBERNIAN and that is their second blank fo the season. Hibs have taken their goals total to 9 and a goal run of five league/cup games.

In League One FALKIRK are now top of the table after they won 2-0 away to Edinburgh City. Falkirk are on a total of 22 goals and a goal run of six league/cup games. KELTY HEARTS drew 1-1 at home to Anna and picked up goal number 16. COVE RANGERS lost 1-0 away to Alloa and picked up their third blank score sheet.

In League Two, CLYDE drew 0-0 at home to Forfar and picked up their fourth blank of the season and now two in a row. STENHOUSEMUIR won 1-0 away to The Spartans. Stenhousemuir are on a total of 8 goals. EAST FIFE lost 1-0 away to Dumbarton and picked up their sixth blank score sheet. They have scored just 2 goals in their last seven league/cup games.
