Well Done Derby

In the Championship, the very last game of 2019 has been played and its good news to the DERBY fans as they beat Charlton 2-1 at home. Although the win for Derby has moved them up to 17^th place in the league. Derby are now on a total of 25 goals.

Week Twenty-Two

In Week Twenty-Two of the competition we had two winners to share the Christmas Weekend Jackpot of £10. They are TONY KING and JAMES WISE with a score of 10 goals each but only one of them has had his first win of the season and that is Tony, who becomes our twenty-fourth winner of the season.

Tony has been with us from the very first season and where he finished in the winning frame in third place with a total of 295 goals. Last season he finished in 101^st place with 262 goals. He had two weekend wins worth just over £7 in cash. This season Tony has been as high as 22^nd place in Week Seven. He has picked up just two blank score sheets to date and this is the highest score to date. Rangers are Tony’s best team.

James has picked up his second win of the season and this is the second time of sharing the cash. James last won in Week Four. Since then he has picked up three blank score sheets. His best team is still Manchester City. Here are our winners teams

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

We all picked up some more goals this week from the Boxing day fixtures and the race for the cash has changed this week. There we six players who picked up the highest midweek score with nine goals each. There are a total of eighteen players that now are on a total of 50 or more midweek goals now.

This week it’s PATRICK O’DONAGHUE who takes the lead up from two with a total of 62 goals. Patrick picked up a total of nine goals from Fulham, Liverpool and Manchester City. ANDY EYLES has moved up from three to second place this week with a total of 60 goals. In third place last weeks leader COLIN WEBB (2) is now on a total of 59 goals. In fourth place we still have PHIL REEVE now with 58 goals. In fifth place both with 55 goals each we still have AVA & AUBREY CLARK but coming back in the race we now have TOBY BICKNELL. In sixth place back in is MATT DORAN with  a total of 54 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

This weekend we had our very last full league fixture for 2019. We had just two of our teams without a game and another twelve that failed to score any goals. So with that this weekends average score moved from three goals of last weekend to 4 goals this weekend. The good news is that we all picked up some last goals of 2019. We had three teams that picked up this weekends highest score’s with five goals each. They were LEEDS UNITED, LINCOLN CITY and Scottish RAITH ROVERS.

PREMIER LEAGUE

So it’s the very last games of the decade and Champions LIVERPOOL are scoring again as they win 1-0 at home against WOLVES. Liverpool are now on a total of 54 goals while Wolves in seventh place picked up their second blank score sheet after a goal run of twenty games. LEICESTER CITY are still in second place after they won 2-1 away to WEST HAM. Leicester are now on a total of 53 goals. West Ham are now on 23 goals. MANCHESTER CITY won 2-0 at home to SHEFFIELD UNITED and they have taken their goals total up to 63 goals and they have now scored in all of their last fourteen games. Sheffield picked up their sixth blank score sheet. CHELSEA are still in fourth place after they won 2-1 away to London rivals ARSENAL. Chelsea are now on a total of 43 goals while Arsenal hit goal number 36. MANCHESTER UNITED won 2-0 away to Burnley and they are now on a total of 38 goals. TOTTENHAM drew 2-2 away to Norwich and that now gives them a total of 36 goals. ASTON VILLA picked up their fifth blank of the season after they lost 3-0 away to Watford. EVERTON won 2-1 away to NEWCASTLE and they are now on 33 goals to Newcastle’s 21.

CHAMPIONSHIP

LEEDS UNITED are back on top on goal difference as they win 5-4 away to BIRMINGHAM. Leeds with their biggest result of the season, are now on a total of 47 goals and they have now scored in all of their last eleven games, while Birmingham also picked up their highest score and now with 29 goals to their name. WEST BROM share the top with Leeds after they lost 2-0 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH. West Brom after a goal run of fourteen games, picked up their second blank score sheet of the season. Middlesbrough are now on 26 goals and they have now scored in all of their last six games. In the play-off zone, FULHAM have moved up to third place after they won 1-0 at home to STOKE. Fulham are now on a total of 39 goals while Stoke picked up their ninth blank of the season. BRENTFORD are back up to fourth place after they lost 1-0 away to Millwall. Brentford have also picked up their ninth blank score sheet. NOTTINGHAM FOREST are now on 35 goals after they won 1-0 at home to Wigan and are now in fifth place. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are down to sixth place after they lost 2-1 at home to CARDIFF. Wednesday are now on 38 goals and a goal run of eleven games. Cardiff are now on 37 goals. LUTON picked up their ninth blank score sheet as they lost 3-0 away to Bristol City. HUDDERSFIELD won 2-1 at home to BLACKBURN ROVERS and they are now on a total of 28 goals to Blackburn’s 36. PRESTON lost 2-0 at home to Reading and that is their ninth blank score sheet. QUEENS PARK RANGERS are now on 41 goals as they lost 2-1 at home to Hull. BARNSLEY drew 0-0 away to Swansea and that is their eighth blank score sheet. 

LEAGUE ONE

We have three of our teams in the Play-off Zone this weekend. ROTHERHAM are now in third place after they won 4-0 at home against PETERBOROUGH who are now in sixth place. Rotherham have taken their goals tally up to 51 goals. Borough have now had a total of seven blank score sheets and now three in a row. IPSWICH are now down to fourth place after they lost 5-2 away to LINCOLN CITY. After a two game dry spell, Ipswich are now on 37 goals. Lincoln also after a two game dry spell for goals, picked up their biggest win of the season and they are now on 30 goals. ACCRINGTON STANLEY are now on 34 goals as they win 2-0 at home to Burton. SUNDERLAND won 2-1 away to DONCASTER and they are now on 36 goals to Doncaster’s 34. MK DONS won 3-1 at home to PORTSMOUTH and they are now on 29 goals while Portsmouth hit goal number 42 and have now scored in all of their last thirteen games. It’s 40 goals for BLACKPOOL as they drew 1-1 away to Tranmere after a two game dry spell for goals.

LEAGUE TWO

The highest team here is in the play-off zone is BRADFORD CITY, in fourth place, as they won 2-0 at home to MANSFIELD. Bradford are now on 31 goals while Mansfield picked up their tenth blank score sheet.FOREST GREEN ROVERS are now in fifth place after they won 1-0 at home to Macclesfield. Rovers are now on 33 goals. PLYMOUTH are now in seventh place after they won 2-1 at home to bottom of the table Stevenage. Plymouth are now on a total of 39 goals. SCUNTHORPE lost 3-1 away to Crewe and that is their 32^nd goal of the season. LEYTON ORIENT drew 1-1 away to Newport and they are now on 33 goals. With their biggest win of the season, SALFORD CITY won 4-1 away to OLDHAM and they are now on a total of 33 goals. Oldham picked up goal number 29.

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the Premiership, CELTIC lost their second league game of the season to rivals RANGERS after they lost 2-1 at home. Celtic are now on a total of 68 goals and have now extended their goal run to fourteen games. Rangers are now on 60 goals. HEARTS drew 1-1 at home to Aberdeen and that is goal number 28 for them but just three goals in their last nine games.

In League One, RAITH ROVERS are still on top after they won 5-3 away to East Fife. Rovers are now on a total of 41 goals. FALKIRK are now in third place after they drew 1-1 away to Airdrie and they are on 42 goals. PETERHEAD won 2-0 at home to Clyde and they are now on a total of 26 goals.

In League Two, COVE RANGERS are top going strong as they win 2-0 at home to Elgin City. Rangers are now on a total of 53 goals and they have now scored in all of their last nine games. STENHOUSEMUIR lost 2-0 at home to Stirling and that is their sixth blank score sheet of the season.

Our worst team this week is HEARTS. They have picked up a total of twelve blank score sheets in twenty-eight games played. Hearts have scored just three goals in their last nine games. They have a total of 28 goals and one vote.

Our highest goal scorers in our 37^th Season is LEICESTER CITY from Week Thirteen as the beat Southampton 9-0 away in the league.  

It’s all change at the top this week in the very last weekend of 2019. This weekend we can see BRADLEY CLARK at the top for his first time this season. Bradley is now the third player to hit that spot after he picked up a total of twelve goals for the week. Eight of them came from midweek with the other four from the weekend. Bradley’s combination is Celtic, Liverpool and Manchester City. Behind him is now least weeks leader Guy Dowsett as he picks up a total of nine goals for the week. He has Celtic, Cove Rangers and Manchester City.

At the other end at 123 The SAINT has returned to the bottom position, as he picks up just five goals for the week. This now means that The Saint has been at the bottom for a total of fifteen weeks so far. His teams are once again Barnsley 0, Sheffield United 0 and Sheffield Wednesday 1.

In the Premier League, MANCHESTER CITY threw away a two goal lead to lose 3-2 away to WOLVES. Despite this, City are now on a total of 61 goals and a goal run of thirteen games. Wolves are now on a total of 31 goals and they have now scored in all of their last twenty games.

Boxing Day Results

Here are the Boxing Day results for our Golden Goals teams and as usual our teams for this season are in Bold Caps.

In the Premier League, LIVERPOOL are still top as they win 4-0 away to LEICESTER CITY. Liverpool are now on a total of 53 goals while City picked up their third blank score sheet of the season after a goal run of sixteen games. It’s 40 goals for ASTON VILLA as they win 1-0 at home against Norwich. After a two game dry spell for goals ARSENAL are now on a total of 35 goals as they drew 1-1 away to Bournemouth.  CHELSEA lost 2-0 at home to Southampton and that is their four blank score sheet. WEST HAM lost 2-1 away to Crystal Palace and they are now on 22 goals. EVERTON are on 31 goals as they win 1-0 at home against Burnley. MANCHESTER UNITED won 4-1 at home against NEWCASTLE,  after going a goal down. United are now on a total of 36 goals while Newcastle hit goal number 20. SHEFFIELD UNITED drew 1-1 at home to Watford and they are now on 25 goals. TOTTENHAM won 2-1 against Brighton after going a goal down in the first half. Tottenham are now on a total of 34 goals.

In the Championship, BLACKBURN drew 0-0 at home to Wigan and after a goal run of nine games, Blackburn have picked up their fourth blank score sheet of the season.

Week Twenty-One

In Week Twenty-One of the competition we have started our second half of this competition and although we had three winners to share the £6 weekend jackpot, they have all won before so our total remains at twenty-three winners. Our winner’s won on s score of 8 goals and they are CLIFF BAMBRIDGE, GUY DOWSETT and MARK UNSTEAD.

Cliff is celebrating his third win of the season and he last won some cash was back in Week Twelve’s Rollover and shared the cash. Since then he has still only had two blank score sheets to date. His best team is Celtic.

Guy has picked up his second win of the season and he last won back in our very first weekend in Week One. Guy has also picked up a total of two blank score sheets and he’s best team is also Celtic.

Mark also has picked up his second win of the season and he last won back in Week Twelve’s Rollover with Cliff. Mark has only had one blank score sheet in Week Sixteen. He also has Celtic as his best team. Their teams are once again

Most of us picked up some more goals this week and the race for the cash has remained the same this week. It was RYAN FC who picked up the highest midweek score with nine goals to take his midweek goals total up to 33. The goals came from Manchester City, Manchester United and Rangers with three goals each.

This week COLIN WEBB (2) is still out in front but still just one goal as he takes his total up to 54 goals. In second place now on 53 goals we still have PATRICK O’DONAGHUE. In third place we still have ANDY EYLES now with a total of 51 goals. In fourth place we still have PHIL REEVE now with 50 goals. In fifth place both with 48 goals each we still have TONY GUY (4) but he is now joined with AVA & AUBREY CLARK who moves into the frame this week.

WEEKEND RESULTS

This weekend we had eight of our teams without a game and another fourteen that failed to score any goals. So with this in mind the weekends average score fell from six goals of last weekend to just 3 goals this weekend. We did not have any high score’s this weekend but we did have four teams that picked up three goals each. They were COVE RANGERS, FALKIRK, LEYTON ORIENT and MANCHESTER CITY.

PREMIER LEAGUE

As we start the second half going into the Christmas period, Champions Liverpool had no game over the weekend but they are still ten points clear and a game in hand of LEICESTER CITY in second place. Leicester lost 3-1 away to third place MANCHESTER CITY after going a goal up. Leicester are now on a total of 51 goals and they have now scored in all of their last sixteen games. City have taken their goals total up to 59 goals and they have now scored in all of their last twelve games. CHELSEA are still in fourth place after they won 2-0 away to London rivals TOTTENHAM. Chelsea are now on a total of 41 goals while Tottenham after a goal run of nine games, picked up their fourth blank of the season. SHEFFIELD UNITED have moved up to fifth place after they won 1-0 away to Brighton and they are now on a total of 24 goals. The shock of the weekend is that Watford, bottom of the table won 2-0 at home against MANCHESTER UNITED. United also picked up their fourth blank of the season. WOLVES won 2-1 away to Norwich and they are now on a total of 28 goals and have scored in all of their last nineteen games. EVERTON drew 0-0 at home to ARSENAL to pick up their sixth blank of the season to Arsenal’s four and now two in a row. ASTON VILLA lost 3-1 at home to Southampton to pick up goal number 39. Villa are third from bottom. NEWCASTLE picked up their seventh win of the season as they win 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace. Newcastle are now on a total of 19 goals.  

CHAMPIONSHIP

WEST BROM once again remain top after they drew 1-1 at home to BRENTFORD after going a goal down. West Brom have taken their goals tally to 47 and they have now scored in all of their last thirteen games. Brentford have moved down to sixth place but they have taken their goals total to 35. LEEDS UNITED in second place lost 2-1 away to FULHAM and are now on a total of 41 goals and they have now scored in all of their last nine games. Fulham are now on 35 goals and have moved up to fourth place. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are up to third place after they won 1-0 at home against Bristol City. Wednesday picked up goal number 35 and a goal run of nine games. PRESTON drew 0-0 away to CARDIFF to pick up their eighth blank score sheet to Cardiff’s six. HUDDERSFIELD won 2-1 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and they are now on a total of 26 goals to Forest’s total of 32. BIRMINGHAM picked up their ninth blank score sheet of the season after they lost 3-0 away to Hull. LUTON lost 1-0 at home to Swansea with a late goal. That was Luton’s eighth blank score sheet and now just one goal in their last three games. BARNSLEY won 2-1 away to Millwall and they are now on 31 goals. It’s 40 goals for QUEENS PARK RANGERS after they drew 2-2 at home to Charlton. DERBY lost 3-0 away to Reading and that is their tenth blank score sheet and now two in a row.

BLACKPOOL picked up their fifth blank score sheet after they lost 1-0 at home to Shrewsbury. SOUTHEND are now on 27 goals after they lost 3-2 away to bottom of the table Bolton. LINCOLN CITY lost 1-0 away to Coventry to pick up their eighth blank score sheet. It’s 30 for DONCASTER as they drew 1-1 at home to ACCRINGTON STANLEY. Stanley are now on 31 goals. MK DONS lost 3-1 away to Gillingham and they are now on a total of 24 goals. ROTHERHAM drew 2-2 at home to Fleetwood and they are now on 45 goals.

BRADFORD CITY are still our highest here in fifth place after they drew 1-1 at home to SALFORD CITY. Bradford are now on 29 goals to Salford’s 26 after a three game dry spell for goals. LEYTON ORIENT won 3-2 away to CambridgeUtd and they are now on a total of 31 goals. FOREST GREEN ROVERS are still in sixth place after they drew 2-2 at home to Swindon after going two down by half time. Rovers after a three game dry spell are now on 32 goals. SCUNTHORPE are now on 31 goals as they win 1-0 away to Grimsby. OLDHAM won 2-1 at home to Crawley and they are now on 26 goals. MANSFIELD are now on 31 goals after they drew 1-1 at home to Northampton.

SCOTTISH RESULTS

At the other end at 123 we have our fourth player to stay there so far and this weekend it’s EMMA SAWYER turn. Emma picked up just two goals at the weekend from her combination of Fulham 2, Luton 0 and her third team, West Ham who had no game due to the weather at the weekend.

Fifth League Win for Middlesbrough

In the Championship, MIDDLESBROUGH won 2-1 at home to STOKE and they are now on a total of 23 goals. It's their fifth league win in twenty-three games played. Stoke picked up goal number 29.

In the Scottish Premiership, RANGERS have remained in second place behind rivals Celtic as they win 3-0 away to Hibernian. Rangers have taken their goals tally up to 57.

Carabao/League Cup Semi-Finals

More of our teams were playing in the Carabao/League Cup Semi-Finals and the good news is that three more are through to the quarter-finals. MANCHESTER CITY are through after they beat Oxford Utd 3-1 away. City have taken their goals tally up to 56 and have extended their goal run to eleven games. MANCHESTER UNITED won 3-0 at home to Colchester and they are now on a total of 32 goals. EVERTON drew 2-2 with LEICESTER CITY but then lost 4-2 on penalties for Leicester to join the two Manchester clubs. Everton are now on a total of 30 goals while Leicester take theirs to the 50 goals mark and have now scored in all of their last fifteen games.

In the Scottish Premiership, CELTIC won 2-0 away to HEARTS and they are now on a total of 63 goals and have now scored in all of their last eleven games. Hearts have picked up their eleventh blank score sheet and now three in a row. Hearts have now scored just one goal in their last six games.

Domestic Cup News

In the FA CUP Second Round Replays, PLYMOUTH go out as they lost 1-0 at home to Bristol Rovers. The single goal came in the 68^th minute. Plymouth have now had a total of six blank score sheets to date.

In the Carabao/League Cup Semi-Finals, what a result for ASTON VILLA as they beat LIVERPOOL 5-0 at home. Four of the goals came in the first half with the fifth goal coming right at the end of added on time. Villa are now on a total of 38 goals while Liverpool’s goal run of nineteen games, finally comes to the end with their first blank score sheet of the season.

Week Twenty

In Week Twenty of the competition we had our twenty-third winner of the season winning on a total of 11 goals.  Our winner picks up the full £6 cash prize money and they are The SAINT (Geoff Carthy with his second combo)

Geoff has been with Golden Goals for a very, very long time. He started back in the 1986/87 Season on where he finished in 36^th place out of 41 starters with a total of 201 goals.He had a shared weekend win of 50 pence. Last season he finished just out side of the winning frame in 30^th place with 312 goals. With his second combination, the highest that it’s been is 59^th place in Week One. He has picked up a total of three blank score sheets and this is his personal best score. 100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Just over half of us picked up some more goals this week and the race for the cash has remained the same this week. It was JULIA WOOD who picked up the highest midweek score with five goals to take her midweek goals total up to 35. The goals came from Arsenal three and Preston two. Manchester United is her third team.

This week we still have COLIN WEBB (2) who’s lead is still just one goal as he takes his total up to 51 goals. In second place now on 50 goals we still have PATRICK O’DONAGHUE. In third place we still have ANDY EYLES now with a total of 49 goals. In fourth place we still have PHIL REEVE with 47 goals. In fifth place both with 45 goals we still have TOBY BICKNELL but TONY GUY (4) has moved back in.

WEEKEND RESULTS

It makes a change that all of our teams were in action over the weekend but fourteen of them failed to score any goals. So the weekends average score rose from four goals last weekend to 6 goals this weekend, even though we all once picked up some goals.

The highest score that we had was five goals and they came from the Championship, where BARNSLEY won 5-3 at home against QUEENS PARK RANGERS. That is only their third league win in twenty-two games. With their highest result of the season to date, Barnsley are now on  a total of 29 goals. Rangers are now on 38 goals.

Barnsley started with Golden Goals back in the 1998/99 Season in which they became our 91^st English team to join in. In that season they finished on a total of 79 goals. Their highest score came last season with a total of 89 goals. Barnsley are in their seventh Season with us and over the years they have netted a total of 448 goals to date. That gives them a average score of 64 goals per season. This season they have just two votes and they have picked up a total of seven blank score sheets in twenty-three games played.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Champions LIVERPOOL have now won their sixteenth league game out of seventeen as they win 2-0 at home to Watford. Liverpool have kept their 100% scoring record in tack as they chalk up nineteenth consecutive game. Liverpool are now on a total of 49 goals and now ten points clear of LEICESTER CITY in second place. Leicester drew 1-1 at home to Norwich. City are now on a total of 48 goals and they have now scored in all of their last fourteen games. MANCHESTER CITY have remain in third place after they won 3-0 away to ARSENAL. City have taken their goals total up to 53 goals and they have now scored in all of their last ten games. Arsenal picked up their third blank of the season. CHELSEA are still in fourth place after they lost 1-0 at home to Bournemouth. That is their third blank score sheet. TOTTENHAM are now in fifth place after they won 2-1 away to WOLVES. Tottenham are now on 32 goals and have now scored in all of their last nine games. Wolves picked up goal number 26 and they have now scored in all of their last eighteen games. MANCHESTER UNITED drew 1-1 at home to EVERTON after going a goal down in the first half. United are now on 29 goals while Everton are on 28. SHEFFIELD UNITED are now on 23 goals after they won 2-0 at home against ASTON VILLA. Villa picked up their fourth blank of the season. NEWCASTLE picked up their sixth blank score sheet of the season after they lost 1-0 away to Burnley WEST HAM won 1-0 away to Southampton and that is goal number 21 for them.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Who is top this week, well it’s WEST BROM once again after they won 3-2 away to BIRMINGHAM. West Brom have taken their goals tally to 46 and they have now scored in all of their last twelve games. Birmingham are now on 24 goals. LEEDS UNITED are in second place after they drew 3-3 at home to CARDIFF after going three goals up. Leeds are now on 40 goals and they have now scored in all of their last eight games. Cardiff are now on 34 goals. PRESTON have moved up to third place after they won 2-1 at home to LUTON. Preston are now on a total of 41 goals while Luton hit goal number 34. BRENTFORD are now in fourth place as they win 1-0 at home to put FULHAM down in sixth place. Brentford are now on 34 goals while Fulham picked up their sixth blank of the season. BLACKBURN ROVERS won 2-0 at away to Bristol City and they are now on a total of 34 goals and they have now scored in all of their last nine games.SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are now on 34 goals after they won 4-0 away to NOTTINGHAM FOREST who picked up their fifth blank score sheet. DERBY lost 1-0 at home to Millwall and that is their ninth blank of the season. STOKE picked up their eighth blank score sheet after they drew 0-0 at home to Reading. MIDDLESBROUGH lost 3-1 away to Swansea but they are now on 21 goals. HUDDERSFIELD drew 1-1 away to Wigan and that is their 24^th goal of the season.

LEAGUE ONE

IPSWICH are our highest team here in second place after they lost 2-1 at home to Bristol Rovers. Ipswich are now on 34 goals. PETERBOROUGH are still in third place as they won 1-0 at home to bottom of the table Bolton. Borough are now on 49 goals. BLACKPOOL are down to fifth place after they drew 1-1 away to SUNDERLAND. Blackpool are now on 39 goals while Sunderland hit goal number 34. DONCASTER are now on 29 goals as they lost 2-1 away to AFC Wimbledon. It’s 30 goals for ACCRINGTON STANLEY after they won 4-1 at home to PORTSMOUTH who are now on 38 goals. LINCOLN CITY won 1-0 at home to Tranmere and they are now on 25 goals. MK DONS won their fifth league game with a 1-0 at home to Oxford Utd. The Dons are now on 23 goals. SOUTHEND drew 2-2 at home to ROTHERHAM. Southend are now on a total of 25 goals to Rotherhams 43.

LEAGUE TWO

BRADFORD CITY are our highest here in fifth place after they drew 0-0 away to LEYTON ORIENT. Bradford picked up their fifth blank score sheet to Orients seventh. FOREST GREEN ROVERS are down to sixth place after they lost 1-0 away to Northampton. Rovers picked up their eleventh blank of the season and now three in a row. It’s 30 goals for MANSFIELD after they drew 1-1 away to Crewe. PLYMOUTH won 3-0 at home to bottom of the table Morecambe and they are now on 36 goals. SALFORD CITY lost 1-0 at home to Exeter and that is their ninth blank and now three in a row. SCUNTHORPE are now on 30 goals as they drew 2-2 at home to Colchester. OLDHAM picked up their ninth blank score sheet of the season after they lost 2-0 away to Swindon.

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the Premiership, CELTIC won 2-0 at home against Hibernian and they are now on a total of 61 goals and have now extended their goal run to ten games. RANGERS are now two points behind Celtic as they win 2-0 away to Motherwell and they are now on 54 goals. HEARTS lost again 1-0 at home to St Johnstone and that is their tenth blank score sheet and now two in a row and just one goal in their last five games.

In League One, RAITH ROVERS are still on top as they drew 1-1 away to FALKIRK. Rovers are now on a total of 36 goals while Falkirk are on 38 and down to fourth place in the league. PETERHEAD lost 2-1 away to Airdrie and they are now on a total of 23 goals. 

In League Two, COVE RANGERS won 2-1 at home to STENHOUSEMUIRE. Rangers are still top here with a total of 48 goals while Stenhousemuir are now on 22 goals.

Our Best team is LIVERPOOL this week after they still have a 100% scoring record after nineteen games. They have a total of 49 goals which gives them an average score of 2.5 goals per game.

Our worst team this week is FOREST GREEN ROVERS. They have picked up a total of eleven blank score sheets in twenty-six games played. Rovers have now failed to score in their last three games. They have a total of 30 goals.

Our highest goal scorers in our 37^th Season is LEICESTER CITY from Week Thirteen as the beat Southampton 9-0 away in the league.  

MIKE LIDDLE has remained at the top for his third weekend in a row after he picked up a total of six goals all coming from the weekend. Mike has now been at the top for four weeks over the season. Mike’s combination is Celtic, Manchester City and Peterborough and is now joint top with  Bradley Clark who has remain in second place. Bradley picked up a total of seven goals over the weekend. Bradley has the combination of Celtic, Liverpool and Manchester City.  

At the other end at 123 we have The SAINT with his fourteenth consecutive weekend there. The Saint picked up two goals in midweek and another eleven goals at the weekend.  He has Barnsley, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday.
