More of our teams were
playing in the Carabao/League Cup Semi-Finals and the good news is that three
more are through to the quarter-finals. MANCHESTER
CITY are through after they beat Oxford Utd 3-1 away. City have taken their
goals tally up to 56 and have extended their goal run to eleven games. MANCHESTER UNITED won 3-0 at home to
Colchester and they are now on a total of 32 goals. EVERTON drew 2-2 with LEICESTER
CITY but then lost 4-2 on penalties for Leicester to join the two Manchester
clubs. Everton are now on a total of 30 goals while Leicester take theirs to the
50 goals mark and have now scored in all of their last fifteen games.
In the Scottish Premiership,
CELTIC won 2-0 away to HEARTS and they are now on a total of
63 goals and have now scored in all of their last eleven games. Hearts have
picked up their eleventh blank score sheet and now three in a row. Hearts have
now scored just one goal in their last six games.
