WEEK TWENTY-EIGHT

He’s still there, Mike Adkins who has completed his fourth weekend at the top. Mike picked up six goals this week from his combination of Arsenal, Man City and Rangers.
Paul Hudson has moved back into second place and is now just one goal behind Mike. Paul has in his combination Manchester City, Rangers and Watford. Paul also picked up a total of 6 goals for the week.
In the 103 spot we still have Malcolm Cormack who has now been there for three weeks now, four over the season. Malcolm picked up just one goal from Portsmouth as his other two teams had no game this week. His teams are Charlton, Portsmouth and Swindon. Above him in 102 we have John Dove. John picked up five goals from his combination of Arsenal, Bolton and Doncaster.
Rangers still have that 100% scoring record as they have now stretched their total to twenty-eight games, as they win 2-0 away to Ayr.
We had the 5th Round of the FA Cup this weekend and we had nine of our Golden Goals teams in action here. Due to the bad weather that we are having in the UK at the moment, it could have been worse with no games at all. Still play they did. The good news is that five have made it through over the weekend.
They are Everton who won 3-1 at home to Swansea and Sheffield United who also won 3-1 at home to Nottingham Forest. Everton take their goals tally to 52 while Swansea hit goal number 39. Sheff Utd are now on 41 with Forest on 64. Arsenal are on 57 as they beat Liverpool 2-1. Liverpool are now on 75 goals. Man City are now just one goal sort of 100 goals this season as they beat Chelsea 2-0. City are now on 99 goals while Chelsea picked up their 6th blank score sheet of the season. Wigan are also through as they win 2-1 away to Cardiff. Wigan are on 43 goals.
The three best teams to date in Golden Goals are Man City wth 99 goals followed by Rangers now on 88. Liverpool are third with 75 goals.
Crystal Palace are still our worst team to date but they had no game over the whole week. Palace remain on 22 goals.
We have two past Golden Goals Champions in the top twenty-five and they are last seasons Champion, Alice Stubbs picked up  just three goals from her combination of Chelsea, Man City and Man UTD. Our other champion is Geoff Dockerill who won back in our 1994/95 Season. Geoff has Celtic, Man City and QPR.
