Just another update to what’s going on in our seventh World Cup Golden Goals as we are now just hours
away before the tournament kick’s off. The opening game is being played tonight
at it’s the home nation BRAZIL from Group A to take on Croatia at the Arena de Sao Paulo. We offically
closed the book on this competiton a couple of week ago and we have a grand
total of 50 entries which include five new members to Golden Goals.
We have still
picked up ninteen natiions out of the 32 that are to take part in this World
Cup and the home nation Brazil picked
up the most number of votes with 45. Argentina are second with 30 votes
followed by Germany with 24 votes.
Spain are fourth with 18
votes with Belgium following in
fifth place with 14. England have a
total of just 3 votes.
So what
teams/nations do we have in our seventh World Cup competition? from
Group A we
have just BRAZIL
and MEXICO.
Group B we
have CHILE,
HOLLAND and SPAIN.
Group C we
have COLOUMBIA,
and the IVORY
COAST.
Group D we
have ENGLAND,
ITALy and URUGUAY.
Group E we
have ECUADOR and
FRANCE.
Group F we
have ARGENTINA and
NIGERIA.
Group G we
have GERMANY,
PORTUGAL and USA.
Group H we
have BELGIUM,
and RUSSIA.
Each game
of the competition we will keep you right up to date with the reults and how
our teams are doing. All the prize money
will be payed out after the final on 13th July.
