Midweek Results

We had mostly cup games over last week with twenty of our teams in action in two cup competitions. First we will look at the Capital One Cup 3rd Round where we had 17 of our teams playing. Out of them, eight have managed to go through to the next round. The highest score that we had did in fact come from this round of the cup where MANCHESTER CITY won 7-0 at home to Sheff Wed. We also had a few shock results as ARSENAL go out after they lost 2-1 at home to Southampton.  Arsenal are now on a total of 11 goals. EVERTON are also out as they lost 3-0 away to Swansea. That was Everton’s 1st blank of the season. LIVERPOOL are through after they drew 2-2 after extra time and then won 14-13 on penalties. Liverpool are on a total of 9 goals. CARDIFF picked up their 3rd blank of the season and go out of the cup as they lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth.
