We had five of our Golden
Goal teams involved in the FA
Cup Fourth Round replays this week and three of them have made it through
to the next round of the cup.
This is where our highest
score of midweek came from and would you believe it was MANCHESTER UNITED as they finally beat Cambridge Utd 3-0 at
home. United have taken their goals
tally to 44 which is about an average score for this season in Golden
Goals.
Also through are PRESTON as they beat SHEFFIELD UNITED 3-1 away. Preston with
their biggest score for some time now, have taken their goals total to 54 while
United have picked up goal number 51 but are now out of the cup. LIVERPOOL have also made it through
with a couple of last minute goals against Bolton in their 2-0 away win.
Liverpool are now on 45 goals. FULHAM was
our other team to go out as they lost 3-1 at home to Sunderland. Fulham are now
on a total of 50 goals.
We have just one league
result from League One and that was BARNSLEY’S
1-0 win over Oldham to give them goal number 45.
