WEEKEND RESULTS
I had forgotten to tell you what the average score was last weekend, which was six goals. So for the second weekend running the average score has remained at six goals.
We had a lack of goals from our top English teams this weekend but all of us managed to pick up some goals again this weekend. Out of our 57 teams that we have this season, two that had no game and another thirteen of our teams that failed to score any goals.
Our highest score came from the English/Scottish Premierships and the Scottish Championship where CELTIC, FALKIRK and TOTTENHAM all picked up the weekends highest score with five goals each.
Celtic kept their top spot in the premiership as they beat Dundee Utd 5-0 at home. Celtic have only scored a total of three goals in their previous three games, so this will help all you Celtic fans as they take their goals tally to 33. Last season Celtic finished on a total of 110 goals. Falkirk are in third place in the championship as they win 5-0 away to Dumbarton.
Falkirk have also scored just two goals in their last five games. This now brings their goals total to 23. Last time that they played in Golden Goals was back in our 2012/13 Season they finished on a total of 64 goals.
Tottenham picked up their highest score of the season as they beat Bournemouth 5-1 away to put them in sixth place in the English premiership. The five goals now gives Tottenham a total of 17 goals. They finished on 75 goals last season.
