Busy Night For Golden Goals

We had a very busy night here at Golden Goals as most of our lower English league teams were in action.
In the Championship, BIRMINGHAM picked up their highest result to date as they win 2-0 at home to BARNSLEY. Birmingham have doubled their goals tally to four. Barnsley picked up their third blank score sheet and now just two goals in their last four games. DERBY lost 2-1 at home to Bristol City but they are now on a total of 6 goals. BLACKBURN ROVERS are also on 6 goals as they win 1-0 away to Hull. MIDDLESBROUGH are also on 6 goals now after they won 1-0 at home to Wigan. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY won 1-0 at home to LUTON and they are now on 6 goals while Luton picked up their first blank of the season.

In League One, ACCRINGTON STANLEY picked up their highest number of goals but lost 3-2 at home against Shrewsbury. Accrington are now on a total of 4 goals. BLACKPOOL drew 2-2 away to Gillingham and that now gives them a total of 11 goals and their 100% scoring record moves up to five games. IPSWICH have also scored in all of their five games this season after they won 2-1 at home to AFC Wimbledon. MK DONS won 2-1 at home to LINCOLN CITY. The Dons have scored in all of their four games and they are now on 7 goals while Lincoln hit goal number 10 and a goal run of five games. PORTSMOUTH drew 3-3 at home against Coventry and they are now on a total of 9 goals. SUNDERLAND have now scored in all of their five games played after they won 2-1 away to Rochdale. Sunderland are now on a total of 9 goals. PETERBOROUGH won 2-0 away to SOUTHEND. Borough are now on a total of five goals while Southend picked up their third blank and now two in a row.

In League Two, SCUNTHORPE lost 3-2 away to Cambridge Utd and they are now on a total of 5 goals while after three straight blank score sheets, LEYTON ORIENT have picked up their highest result by winning 3-2 away to MANSFIELD. Mansfield have now scored in all of their five games played and they are now on a total of 10 goals. OLDHAM picked up their third blank score sheet and now two in a row as they drew 0-0 at home to Exeter. PLYMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to SALFORD CITY and they are now on 8 goals to Salford’s five. FOREST GREEN picked up their fourth goal of the season as they lost 2-1 away to Port Vale. BRADFORD CITY won 1-0 away to Stevenage and that is their fifth goal of the season.
