Season 37

I thought that I should keep you up to speed on what is going to happen with Golden Goals Season 37.
As you are aware that the Scottish Season is now over and it now seems that the English leagues one and two have also ended their season but we are still waiting to find out if their teams go up or down this season and indeed if any of their play-offs will happen.
So we are left with just the English Premier League and Championship to play the rest of their games for this season. Start time in about three week’s round about 19th June.
We here at Golden Goals are still going to continue with our season with just our Premier and Championship leagues teams that will play and if any play-offs are played. This means that there will be changes to the prize money that has been left over from our 37th Season.
I have taken the decision in regards to the weekend prize money and the midweek 100 goals jackpot to end any more pay outs for the rest of the season.

With the Weekend Prize Money we had a total of six weeks left to pay out to our weekend winners but the sum of £36 will now go to our 40th Season. Those who have already won at the weekend will still get their winnings, which will be paid out at the end of this season.

With the 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot which is usually given to the first person to reach 100 midweek goals, which this season it was worth a total of £30. This prize money will be split between next seasons 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot and season 40.

As we do not know yet how the fixtures will be for the rest of the season I think that this will be the best policy to take for us all. Stay safe every one.
