Here we are with Week Fourteen of the competition and we had just one player to pick up the full £5 Weekend Jackpot this weekend. Our winner won on a score of 13 goals and they are DAVE WOOD which now means that we have had a total of nineteen winners in our 40th Season.
Dave has been with us for a long time now but being away from home this week, I am unable to tell you when. But last season Dave finished in 87th place with a total of 240 goals. This season he has been as high as 9th place in Week Four. Dave has picked up just one blank weekend score sheet and Rangers are his best team. His winning teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Just under half of us managed to pick up some midweek goals this week which means just a slight change in the top five. JAMES BLYTH picked up the most number of goals with a total of 4. They came from Ipswich, Manchester City and Sheffield Wednesday. We have three joint leaders for the cash this week and they are HAYLEY ADKINS, NICK HORTON and up from two and JACQUI RATTLE. All with a total of 31 goals each. In second place we still have RICK WOOD our 2007/08 Champion with a total of 30 goals. In third place we still have STEVE AYRES and MARK GREGORY but joining them this week we have GEOFF CARTHY up from five. All are on a total of 28 goals. In fourth place all on 27 goals we still have BARBARA BARNES (2), GUY DOWSETT (1) and TERENCE WARWICK both down for third place but joining them we have coming in to the race. In fifth place we have JAMES BLYTH with a total of 26 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had all but one of our teams without a game this weekend and we had twelve teams that failed to score any goals. We had another fairly good weekend once again as the average score for this weekend went up from five goals last weekend to 6 goals this weekend. Well done if your teams picked up more than that.
The highest score that we had was five goals and they came from the Premier League ARSENAL who picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 5-0 at home to Nottingham Forest. Arsenal are now on a total of 30 goals and they have kept their 100% scoring record in twelve league games. In League two SWINDON TOWN picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 5-2 away to MANSFIELD TOWN. Swindon have taken their goals tally to 23 goals while Mansfield are on 26 goals.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Arsenal have remained on top again this week and are still two points in front of MANCHESTER CITY who won 1-0 away to LEICESTER CITY. City are now on a total of 37 goals while Leicester picked up their 4th blank of the season. TOTTENHAM are still in third place after they won 3-2 away to BOURNEMOUTH. Tottenham are now on a total of 26 goals while Bournemouth are on 14 goals. BRIGHTON won 4-1 at home against CHELSEA. Brighton have taken their goals total to 22 while Chelsea hit goal number 17. CRYSTAL PALACE won 1-0 at home to Southampton and they are on a total of 15 goals. FULHAM drew 0-0 at home to EVERTON and that is blank number three for them after a goal run of nine games. Everton picked up their 5th. LIVERPOOL lost 2-1 at home to LEEDS UNITED and picked up goal number 23. Leeds are on 18 goals. NEWCASTLE won 4-0 at home to ASTON VILLA. Newcastle are now on a total of 26 goals as Villa picked up their 6th blank of the season. MANCHESTER UNITED won 1-0 at home to WEST HAM and that is goal number 17 for them as West Ham picked up their 6th blank score sheet.
CHAMPIONSHIP
BURNLEY now at the top of the league after they won 2-1 at home to READING. Burnley are on a total of 33 goals and they have extended their goal run to sixteen games. Reading are on 21 goals. SWANSEA lost 2-1 away to Bristol City and they are on a total of 25 goals. HUDDERSFIELD are on 18 goals after they won 1-0 at home to Millwall. LUTON drew 1-1 at home to SUNDERLAND. Luton are on 23 goals while Sunderland are on 22. It’s 30 goals for NORWICH after they won 3-1 at home to Stoke. MIDDLESBROUGH lost 2-1 away to Preston and they are on a total of 20 goals. SHEFFIELD UNITED won 2-0 away to WEST BROM and they are on a total of 28 goals as West Brom picked up their 6th blank of the season. WATFORD won 1-0 away to Wigan and they are on a total of 24 goals.
LEAGUE ONE
Plymouth are still the top of the table here with IPSWICH in second place. They drew 4-4 away to CHARLTON to get their biggest result of the season. Ipswich are now on a total of 35 goals. Charlton have taken their goals tally to 29. FOREST GREEN ROVERS lost 2-0 away to Barnsley and that is their 7th blank of the season. It’s 20 goals for OXFORD UNITED after they won 3-1 away to Bolton. MK DONS drew 0-0 away to Cheltenham and that is their 8th blank of the season. DERBY picked up their biggest score of the season as they win 4-2 at home to BRISTOL ROVERS. Derby are now on a total of 22 goals while Rovers are on 27 and have now scored in all of their last seven games. PETERBOROUGH won 1-0 at home to Cambridge Utd and they are on a total of 34 goals and a goal run of eight games. LINCOLN CIOTY lost 1-0 away to Port Vale and that is their 6th blank of the season. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY have now scored in all of their last ten games as they win 4-2 at home against Burton.
LEAGUE TWO
The highest team that we have here are now Swindon Town in fourth place. AFC WIMBLEDON won 3-2 at home to Harrogate and that is their biggest result of the season. Wimbledon are now on a total of 20 goals. BRADFORD CITY drew 1-1 at home to CRAWLEY TOWN. Bradford are on 24 goals while Crawley are on 21 goals. GILLINGHAM lost 1-0 away to Doncaster and they have now had a total of eleven blank score sheets and now two in a row. SALFORD CITY picked up their 5th blank of the season as they lost 1-0 away to top of the table Leyton Orient. STOCKPORT COUNTY picked up their biggest win of the season after they won 3-0 at home to SUTTON UNITED. Stockport are now on a total of 22 goals and have now scored in all of their last seven games. Sutton picked up their 7th blank score sheet.
SCOTTISH LEAGUE RESULTS
In the Premiership CELTIC are still four points in the lead as they win 3-0 away to Livingston. Celtic are now on a total of 50 goals and they have now scored in all of their last six games. RANGERS are still in second place after they won 4-1 at home to ABERDEEN. Rangers are on a total of 35 goals and a goal run of seven games. Aberdeen have move back down to fourth place with a total of 43 goals. HIBERNIAN are now in third place after they won 3-0 at home to St Mirren. Hibs are now on a total of 27 goals. It’s 20 goals for HEARTS after they won 2-1 away to Ross County.
In League One it’s 30 goals for ALLOA won 2-1 at home to Clyde. KELTY HEARTS lost 2-1 away to Dunfermline and they are on a total of 15 goals.
In League Two BONNYRIGG ROSE lost 2-1away to Stirling and they are on a total of 22 goals and a goal run of six games. STENHOUSEMUIR drew 2-2 away to Albion and they are on a total of 31 goals. Stenhousemuir have now scored in all of their last ten games.

Our highest goal scorers in our 40th Season are CELTIC who won 9-0 away to Dundee Utd in the league and LIVERPOOL who won 9-0 at home to Bournemouth in the league both from Week Five.
TONY GUY our 2010/11 Champion with his second selection, becomes our 6th player to reach number one this season. Tony picked up a total of 13 goals this week from his teams of Arsenal, Celtic and Sheffield Wednesday. Mark Gregory has once again dropped down to second place this weekend, after he picked up a total of 7 goals from the weekend. His teams are Celtic, Manchester City and Norwich.
At the other end at 108 we still have MANDY WRIGHT who picked up just 5 goals again for the week. Mandy has now been here for two weeks and now ten weeks over the season. Mandy’s teams are Bournemouth, Swansea and West Ham.
