As you can see that the next news sheet for Golden
Goals is now out but it seems that a lot of the
e-mails that were okay last time are now bouncing back to me. So if you have not received your news sheet, please let me know.

Chris Challis is
two goals clear of last weekend’s leader Colin
Webb. But this could all change by next week as we have had some big
results this week for the domestic cup rounds.
Last night we had more of the Capital One Cup Second
Round with 5 of our teams in action. Out of them four have made it through to
the next round. Biggest score of the night was from Aston Villa as they win 3-0 at home
to Rotherham. Villa are now on a
total of 7 goals. Everton, Nottingham Forest and Watford have all made it through to
the next round.
At this stage of the season, we still have 21 of our teams that
have that 100% scoring record.
One thing that I did not publish on the new news sheet is
the Midweek race for the £60 cash prize money. This is how it is looking at the
moment.
In joint first place on 17 goals we have C. Challis and D. Goodson. In second place on 15 goals we have C. Bolbery,
P. Hudson and T. King. In third
place we have M. Harrington on 14
goals while in fourth place all on 13 goals we have G. Britton, P. Davey, G. Dowsett (2), C. Nunn and P. Reeve.
