Once again, Mike Adkins has remained top again this
weekend and has now completed his fifth weekend at the top. Mike picked up eight
goals this week from his combination of Arsenal, Man City and Rangers.
Paul Davey has moved back into second place but
he is now five goals behind Mike.
In the 103 spot we still
have Malcolm Cormack who has now
been there for four weeks, five over the season. Malcolm picked up just two
goals from his teams of Charlton, Portsmouth and
Swindon.
Above him in 102 we still have John
Dove. John picked up six goals from his combination of Arsenal, Bolton and Doncaster and is now eleven goals in front of malcolm.
Rangers still have
that 100% scoring record as they have now stretched their total to twenty-nine games, as they drew 3-3 at
home to Stenhousemuir.
Not much to shout about this week with our teams in Golden Goals but we did
have one team that scored the highest amount of goals with five and they were Scunthorpe. They won 5-1 at home to Portsmouth. That is the biggest score to date for Scunthorpe as they are now on 51
goals. Portsmouth are now on 37 goals.
Chelsea are back on
top in the English Premiership as they win 1-0 at home to Everton. Chlsea are now on 57 while Everton picked up their 8th blank
of the season. Arsenal won 4-1 at home to Sunderland and that takes their goals
tally to 61. Liverpool won 4-3 at home to Swansea and are now on
79 goals while Swansea are on 42. Manchester
United are on 54 as they win 2-0
away to Crystal Palace. Palace picked up their 13th blank of the season. Tottenham lost 1-0 away to Norwich to poick up their 8th blank and it’s
13 for Aston Villa as they lost 1-0 away to Newcastle.
The three best teams to date in Golden Goals are Man City wth 100 goals followed by Rangers now on 91. Liverpool are third with 79 goals.
Crystal Palace are still our worst team to date as they failed to score any goals against
Man Utd over the weekend. Palace remain on 22 goals.
We still have two past Golden Goals Champions in the top
twenty-five and they are last seasons Champion, Alice Stubbs picked up four goals from her combination of Chelsea, Man City and Man
UTD. Our other champion is Geoff
Dockerill who won back in our 1994/95 Season. Geoff has Celtic, Man City and QPR.
