WEEK THIRTY-FOUR


It still could be any of our top four people that all could be our next champion of Golden Goals. But Paul Davey has come back to the top this weekend after his combinations of teams picked him up a total of 11 goals. Paul has in his combination Man City, Rangers and Wolves.
Paul Hudson has moved up to second place after collecting a total of 13 goals for the week.. Paul has spent thirteen weekend at the top and his combination are  Man City, Rangers and Watford. In third place we have CHRIS NUNN after going top last weekend. Chris picked up just six goals all week and his teams are Chelsea, Man City and Rangers. In fourth place is Mike Adkins who was top for eight weeks before he started to slowly falling down the table but could be back at top if he has a good weekend. His teams are Arsenal, Man City and Rangers.
In the 103 spot we still have Malcolm Cormack who has now been there for nine weeks, and now ten over the season. Malcolm picked up seven goals this week from his teams of Charlton, Portsmouth and Swindon. Above him in 102 is still John Dove as his teams also picked him up seven goals and is now still twenty-two goals in front of Malcolm.
Rangers still have that 100% scoring record as they have now stretched their total to thirty-seven games, as they win 2-1 away to Arbroath.
In the Premiership, After their big win at the weekend, Liverpool are now top as they win 4-0 at home against Tottenham. Liverpool are now on 97 goals while Tottenham picked up their 11th blank score sheet.  Chelsea are now second as they lost 1-0 away to Crystal Palace. Palace must be feeling on top of the world to collect the three points from chelsea. Palace are now on just 24 goals while Chelsea picked up their 8th blank of the season. Manchester City are third and Arsenal are fourth as they drew 1-1. Arsenal take their goals tally to 69 while our best team, City are now on 115. Manchester Utd won 4-1 at home to Aston Villa to take their goals total to 63. Villa are on 38 goals. Everton picked up another set of three goals as they win 3-1 away to Fulham. Everton have still scored nine goals in their last three games and are now on 65 goals. Swansea won 3-0 at home to Norwich and are now on 51 goals.
In the Championship Leicester City remained top again this weekend as they win 2-0 away to Burnley. City are now on 87 goals and it’s their second best score with Golden Goals. City have now scored in all of their last 25 games. We still have three teams in the play-off zone. QPR are one as they drew1-1 at home to Blackpool. Rangers are now on 50 goals while Blackpool picked up their 34th. Wigan drew 1-1 away to Bolton to get their 63rd goal and it’s 56 for Bolton. Reading is our third team and they also drew 1-1 at home to Huddersfield. Reading are now on 60 goals. After a three game dry spell for goals, Nottingham Forest picked up goal number 70 as they drew1-1 away to Ipswich. It’s 50 goals for Middlesbrough as they win 2-0 away to Brighton. Leeds Utd lost 2-1 at home to Doncaster and picked up goal number 57 while Doncaster are now on 39. Charlton picked up their 18th blank of the season as they lost 3-0 away to Derby. Charlton have now scored just two goals in their last eight games.
In the Scottish Leagues, Champions Celtic drew 1-1 at home to Ross County and picked up goal number 88 while Champions Rangers won 2-1 away to Arbroath and are now on 106 goals. It’s 59 for Aberdeen as they drew 1-1 at home to Dundee Utd. Queen Of South won 3-0 at home against Morton and are on 55 goals. Morton picked up blank number fourteen and two in a week. STENHOUSEMUIR won 3-2 away to Ayr and are now on 61.
The three best teams to date in Golden Goals are Man City wth 115 goals followed by Rangers now on 106. Liverpool are third now with 97 goals.
Crystal Palace are still our worst team to date but now with a total of just 24 goals out of a total of 34 league/cup games.
