Let’s have a quick catch up on
the midweek results that affects Golden Goals this week. We have had
seven of our teams in action over the last couple of days and out of them only
two have failed to score any goals.
Monday night saw EVERTON draw 0-0 at home to West Brom in
the league and that was their 7th blank score sheet of the season.
Last night in the Capital
One Cup 1st leg game,
It's all even here as LIVERPOOL drew 1-1 at home to CHELSEA.
That was Liverpool’s 41st goal and Chelsea’s 62nd.
Back to our league games, LEEDS had a big surprise win over top
of the table Bournemouth in the Championship. Leeds picked up their 31st
goal of the season. CARDIFF are on
44 goals as they lost 2-1 away to Middlesbrough.
In League One, DONCASTER picked up their 10th
blank score sheet as they drew 0-0 at home to Notts County. PRESTON drew 1-1 at home against Yeovil
and that now gives them a total of 49 goals for the season.
