Could we be watching a Merseyside
cup final this year as EVERTON beat MANCHESTER CITY 2-1 at home in their
first leg game. Everton who are in 11th place in the premiership
took their goals total to 48 and they have now scored in all of their last
fourteen games. Manchester City who are in 3rd place and 12 points
in front of Everton picked up goal number 53, which now makes them our third
best team of the season for goals. Their second leg game is to
be played on 27th January.
