Capital One Cup Semi-Final and WILLIAM HILL CUP Fourth Round Results

LIVERPOOL won their first Semi-final leg game 1-0 against Stoke and was looking to seal their place in the next round with another win. But Stoke won the second leg 1-0 and so it ended one goal apiece. Even after extra time it was still 1-1 on aggregate so into penalties where Liverpool won 6-5.
So with Liverpool picking up a blank score sheet even after extra time, they have now had a total of eight blank score sheets to date. Penalties do not count in Golden Goals.

We also have a few league games to talk about. In the English Championship, BRADFORD drew
1-1 at home to LEEDS to take their goals tally to 42 while Leeds are now on 32. NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 0-0 at home to QPR. That gave them their 8th blank of the season while Rangers have now had ten.
In League One, BLACKPOOL drew 0-0 at home to SHEFFIELD UNITED to pick up their 14th blank to United’s sixth.  It’s 38 goals for PORT VALE as they win 2-1 away to Doncaster. BURTON ALBION won 1-0 away to PETERBOROUGH. Albion are now on 38 goals. Borough picked up their 5th blank of the season.
In League two, LEYTON ORIENT picked up their 51st goal of the season as they win 1-0 at home to Newport.

In the WILLIAMS HILL CUP Fourth Round game, FALKIRK lost 3-1 away to Dundee after going a goal up. Falkirk are now on 49 goals.
