Week Forty

We are now in injury time here with this season's competition and RICHARD WILLIAMS is still five goals clear this weekend as he picks up just four goals all from the weekend.
This is now his 18th week over the season and four weeks in a row. Richard’s combination is Hibernian, Manchester City  and Rangers. He is still climbing up the Champions table and is now in 26th place as he has now beaten Martyn Gents score of 289 goals in our 1984/85 Season.
JOHN DAVIES is still in second place with his Liverpool, Manchester  City and Rangers combination which also picked him up a total of four goals again all coming from the weekend.

At the other end, STEPTOE & SON is still at the 119 spot after their combination picked up two goals in midweek and just one at the weekend. Their combination is Queens Park, Queens Park Rangers and Queen of the South. Although this is their second weekend at the bottom of the table they are now in their 11th week at 119. They remain in the 29th place in the losers league again this weekend.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Over half of you managed to pick up some midweek goals this week but the highest score to be picked up this week was again five goals and they all went to GEOFF DOCKERILL taking his midweek total to 44 goals. The goals came from Chelsea two and Clyde three his third team is Celtic.
The race to the £40 Midweek Jackpot now looks over for this season as there are no more midweek games left to play and that means that it will roll over to next seasons total. DANIEL GOODSON is just four goals away from the cash and still seven goals in front with a total of 96 goals. His team were Manchester City, Middlesbrough and Rangers. In second place we still have CHRIS SETFORD still on 89 goals. In fourth place all on 85 we have JOHN DAVIES, JAMES HUNTER and TONY KING all moving up from fifth place while BENJAMIN WAYMARK moved up from sixth.

There was no cash prize money to win this weekend as we paid out the last £5 last weekend, but if there was it would of gone to NATALIE RAMSDEN who picked up the highest score of the weekend with a great total of 11 goals. That is her person best of the season and it shot her name up to 68th place.
