Week Twenty-Seven

It’s Week Twenty-seven of Season 34 and we are in for our sixth Rollover this season as we had a total of nine players that picked up this weekends highest score of 11 goals. They are CRAIG ALMOND, PHIL FRANCKSEN, MARK GREGORY, GEOFF PAIN, NATALIE RAMSDEN, PHIL REEVE, BOB SAWYER, KAREN SOMMERVILLE and TIM WOOD. All of them have Celtic as part of their combination who picked up five goals at the weekend. This now means that next Weekends Jackpot will be worth £12.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
All but three of us managed to pick up some more goals this week with the highest score that we had was eight goals and we had two players that reached that score. They are CHRIS BOLBERY and JAMES SOMERVILLE.  Both of them has Manchester City as part of their combination but Chris also has Luton and Newcastle while James has Celtic and Derby.
There was just a small change in the race for the cash this week as we DARYL NICHOLLS remained in the lead now with a total of 92 goals which now means he needs just eight goals to win the cash. Still six goals behind him in second place we still have  DANIEL GOODSON on a total of 86 goals while in third place down from two we have MANGO now on a total of 85 goals. We still have GRANT PHILLIPS and STALKY (2) both on a total of 84 goals in fourth place. Back in the race in fifth place is ANDY EYLES on 83 goals while CHRIS SETFORD falls down from four to six this week on 82 goals.
The good news this weekend is that we now have a total of one hundred and seven players that are now over the 50 goals mark.

WEEKEND RESULTS
We had another high scoring weekend for goals this week but it was not reflected in the average score as that came in at 6 goals each. We had just one of our teams without a game over the weekend with another ten teams that failed to score any goals.
