Everton Are Out

We had a total of thirty-two of our Golden Goals teams in action last night and most of them picked up some more goals for us. But first the Carabao Cup third round where we had the very last of the games for this round. EVERTON are out of the league cup after they drew 1-1 at home to Southampton and then lost 4-3 on penalties. The single goal gives Everton a total of 15 goals.

In the English Championship, It’s 20 goals for ASTON VILLA as they drew 3-3 at home to Preston. BRENTFORD drew 1-1 at home to BIRMINGHAM and they are now on 25 goals to Birmingham’s 10. LEEDS UNITED won 1-0 away to HULL to pick up goal number 23 while Hull picked up their fifth blank score sheet of the season. IPSWICH picked up their fifth blank score sheet as they lost 2-0 at home to Middlesbrough. Another two goals for STOKE as they win 2-0 at home to Bolton. Stoke are now on a total of 20 goals. SWANSEA drew 0-0 away to Wigan to pick up their seventh blank score sheet and now just three goals in their last five games.

In League One, ACCRINGTON STANLEY won 1-0 at home to Doncaster and they are now on a total of 15 goals and have extended their goal run to eleven games. It’s 20 goals for BARNSLEY as they drew 1-1 at home to PLYMOUTH who are now on 11 goals. BURTON ALBION lost 2-1 at home to SOUTHEND to pick up goal number 16 while Southend are on 17. PORTSMOUTH won 1-0 away to COVENTRY to take their goals tally up to 22 goals while Coventry picked up their fourth blank of the season. WYCOMBE drew 1-1 away to Fleetwood Town and that is their 18th goal of the season. LUTON won 2-1 away to Oxford Utd and they are now on 14 goals while ROCHDALE drew 0-0 at home to BRISTOL ROVERS. Rochdale after a goal run of seven games picked up their second blank of the season. Rovers picked up their fifth and now just three goals in their last five games. The biggest score of the night came from SCUNTHORPE as they win 5-3 at home to CHARLTON. Scunthorpe with their biggest result to date are now on 19 goals. Charlton take their goals tally to 18. SUNDERLAND drew 2-2 at home against PETERBOROUGH and they are now on 22 goals and they have now scored in all of their last ten games. Borough have extended their goal run to nine games and 28 goals. SHREWSBURY drew 0-0 away to Walsall and that is their fifth blank of the season.

In League Two, SWINDON lost 1-0 away to Crewe and that is their third blank and now two in a row. EXETER won 1-0 at home to Stevenage and they are now on 21 goals while MANSFIELD drew 0-0 at home to OLDHAM to pick up their second blank to Oldham’s fifth and now two in a row. NOTTS COUNTY won 3-1 at home to Crawley and they take their goals total to 18. MK DONS won 2-0 away to Port Vale and they are now on 15 goals. LINCOLN CITY picked up their second blank of the season after they lost 1-0 away to Tranmere.
