Six Teams Eleven Goals

We have done well in the start of Week Thirty-Five as we have had six of our Golden Goals teams in action and they have picked up a total of eleven goals between them.

In the English Championship, It’s 80 goals for WEST BROM as they win 3-2 at home against BIRMINGHAM who are now on 55 goals. West Brom have remained in fourth place in the league and they have now scored in all of their last four games.

In the Scottish Premiership, HIBERNIAN are now on a total of 57 goals as they win 2-1 away to Livingston.

In the Championship, AYR UNITED won 1-0 away to Dunfermline and that was their 61st goal of the season.

First Goals of the Week

In the English League One, BRISTOL ROVERS lost 4-1 away to Doncaster and that is their 45th goal of the season.

In the Scottish Championship, ALLOA lost 3-2 away to Inverness CT and they have taken their goals total up to 43 goals.

Week Thirty-Four

In Week Thirty-Four of the competition we are heading for our eighth Rollover of the Season next weekend worth £12 in cash. With only thirty-five players picking up any goals this weekend it was JOHN WOOD (Ziggy) team that picked up the most with seven goals. They came from Accrington Stanley 2 and Burton Albion 5. His third team Peterhead who failed to score any goals in their game.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Only two of you managed to pick up some goals in midweek this week and they were MIKE HARRINGTON and GRAHAM WARMAN with one goal each. This week we have not added any new players name to the list with 50 or more midweek goals and this week and we remain with a total of 125 that have reached that mark.
So once again we still have GRAHAM HARRIS at the top who still needs just four goals to win the cash. Graham has Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom and a total of 96 goals. In second place with 88 goals we have KELLIE STRATTON and JUNE TIGHE. In third place we have JOHN DAVIES with a total of 87 goals. In fourth place we have DANNY HARRINGTON on a total of 86 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS
We only had twenty-five of our teams in action over weekend with six of them failing to score any goals. We had thirty-eight teams that had no game. So the weekends average score fell to a flat zero.
The highest score that we had came from the English League One where BURTON ALBION won 5-2 at home against ACCRINGTON STANLEY. With their biggest win of the season, Burton have taken their goals tally up to 63 goals which is now a record for them with Golden Goals. Accrington are now on 46 goals.
Burton Albion are our 109th voted English team to join our competition. They are in their third season with us and they started with us in the 2015/16 Season and scored a total of 59 goals which was their record end of season score as in their second season of 2017/18, they finished on a total of 43. So over the three seasons to date, they have scored a total of 165 goals which gives them an average score of 55 goals per season. They have just one vote this season and they have picked up a total of twelve blank score sheets to date.

LEAGUE ONE
We are still doing well here with LUTON still on top after they won 4-0 at home against Doncaster. Luton are now on a total of 79 goals. In second place and still five points behind Luton is BARNSLEY. After a two game dry spell for goals, they won 1-0 away to Walsall and that is their 74th goal of the season.
In the Play-off zone, moving up to third place is PORTSMOUTH. They won 2-0 away to SHREWSBURY and they are now on a total of 76 goals while Shrewsbury picked up their thirteenth blank of the season. Sunderland are down to fourth place as they had no game this week. Charlton remain in fifth place as they also had no game this week. PETERBOROUGH have moved up to sixth place after they won 2-0 at home to SOUTHEND. Borough are now on 69 goals while Southend picked up their twelfth blank and now two in a row.
Meanwhile PLYMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to BRISTOL ROVERS and and they are now on 54 goals to Rovers 44. COVENTRY picked up their ninth blank of the season after they lost 1-0 at home to Oxford Utd. ROCHDALE won 3-1 at home against SCUNTHORPE and they are now on 52 goals. Scunthorpe are on 50 goals.

LEAGUE TWO
LINCOLN CITY are still on top after they won 3-0 away to Crawley Town. Lincoln are now on a total of 80 goals and they have extended their goal run to twenty-six games. MK DONS are still in third place after they won 2-0 at home to Yeovil. The Dons are now on a total of 68 and they have extended their goals run to eleven games.
We have two teams in the Play-off zone this weekend and they are MANSFIELD in fourth place after they lost 2-1 at home to Crewe. Mansfield are now on a total of 64 goals. EXETER are in seventh place after they beat bottom of the league NOTTS COUNTY 1-0 away. Exeter are now on 54 goals while County picked up their seventeenth blank score sheet and now two in a row.
Meanwhile SWINDON picked up their biggest result of the season as they won 4-0 at home to Morecambe. Swindon are now on a total of 49 goals.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Championship, ALLOA went a goal up against Dundee Utd to lose the game 2-1 away. Alloa are now on a total of 41 goals and they are three points adrift of Partick at the bottom of the table.
In League One, RAITH ROVERS are back up to second place after they won 4-1 at home to DUMBARTON. Rovers are now on 73 goals while Dumbarton hit goal number 51 and with a goal run of eight games. STENHOUSEMUIR who are still bottom of the league lost 2-0 away to Morton. Stenhousemuir picked up their eleventh blank score sheet of the season and now two in a row.

Our Best teams this week are LINCOLN CITY after they have scored in all of their last twenty-six League and Cup games out of forty-four played. They have a total of 80 goals which still gives them a average score of 1.8 goals per game.

Our worst team this week is HAMILTON as they have now picked up a total of nineteenth blank score sheets out of thirty-five league and cup games played this season. They have now scored just three goals in their last five games.

Our biggest result in our 36th Season comes from MANCHESTER CITY as they win 9-0 at home against league one BURTON ALBION in the Carabao/League Cup semi-final first leg tie in Week Twenty-Four.

BOB SAWYER is back at the number one this weekend which is his second weekend for this season. Bob picked up four goals at the weekend from Luton. His other teams are Celtic and Manchester City who had no games this week. Bob has moved up our Champions League to 32nd place by beating our joint 1997/98 Champions Mike Harrington and David Salmon who finished on 276 goals. Kellie has moved back down to second place after none of her teams were in action this week and she is now two goals behind Bob. Her teams are once again Celtic, Manchester City and West Brom.
At the other end at 133 we still have John Filtness at the bottom for a total of twenty-five consecutive weekends as none of his teams were in action this week. He has now had twenty-eight weeks at the bottom but he is now seventeen goals adrift  this weekend. His teams are Birmingham, Hamilton and Liverpool. John remains in 35th place in our Losers League.

A Bad Night For Us

In the Scottish Championship, ROSS COUNTY lost 1-0 away to Dundee Utd and that after a goal run of nine games, County have picked up their sixth blank of the season.

In League Two, PETERHEAD lost 2-0 away to Berwick and that is their tenth blank score sheet.

Lincoln City Still Top

In League Two, Top of the table LINCOLN CITY drew 1-1 away to MANSFIELD. Lincoln are now six points clear of second place Bury and they have now taken their goals tally up to 77. Lincoln are well on target to beat their best end of season score 78 in the 2005/06 Season. They have now scored in all of their last twenty-five games. Mansfield have moved up to third place in the league and they are now on a total of 63 goals.

Week Thirty-Three

In Week Thirty-Three of the competition and we had just one winner to take the full £6 cash prize money with 8 goals, and it went to PHIL REEVE our two time Champion from the 1987/88 Season and then again in the 2011/12 Season. This is his second win of the season and he last won some cash in Week Fourteen. Since then he has picked up just one more blank score sheet to give him a total of three to date. His best team is still Manchester City.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Nearly half of us managed to pick up some goals in midweek this week. The highest score that we had was with six goals and they went to JAMES BLYTH and TERRY WARWICK. James teams are Aston Villa, Celtic and Notts County which took his midweek total up to 70 goals. Terry has Aston Villa, Manchester City and Notts County and he is now on 75 midweek goals. The race for the cash has had a little change this week.
This week we have not added any new players name to the list with 50 or more midweek goals and this week and we remain with a total of 125 that have reached that mark.
So once again we still have GRAHAM HARRIS at the top and he now needs just four goals to win the cash as he picks up five goals. Graham has Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom and a total of 96 goals. JUNE TIGHE has remained in second place again with a total of 88 goals but she is now joined with KELLIE STRATTON who has moved up from third place. In third place this week up from four is JOHN DAVIES with a total of 87 goals. In fourth place down from three we have DANNY HARRINGTON on a total of 86 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS
We had most of our teams in action over weekend with fifteen of them failing to score any goals once again. We had another fourteen teams that had no game but some of these are due to the bad weather we had over the weekend. So the weekends average score for the third weekend running remained at 4 goals. All but one of us managed to pick up some goals this weekend. The highest score that we had came from the English Premiership where WEST HAM won 4-3 at home against Huddersfield. That has taken their goals tally up to 57 goals.
West Ham are one of our original teams that started in our very first season of 1983/84. They became our 7th voted team and they finished on a total of 79 goals. This is their 29th Season with Golden Goals and their biggest total was in the 1989/90 Season with 91 goals. Last season they scored a total of 57 goals. Over the years they have scored a total of 1862 goals which gives them an average score of 64 goals per season. This season they have just three votes and they have had twelve blank score sheets to date.

FA CUP Quarter-Finals
We had just four of the eight teams that were left in the FA Cup. But they had to play against each other which means we could end up having none of our teams in the final. SWANSEA went 2-0 up against MANCHESTER CITY by half-time, but once again City turned the game around and won 3-2 away. Swansea after  a two game dry spell for goals are now on a total of 58. City take their goals tally up to 114. WOLVES beat MANCHESTER UNITED 2-1 at home to give them a total of 50 goals while United picked up their 68th goal of the season.
The draw for the Semi-Finals are Watford v WOLVES and MANCHESTER CITY v Brighton. Games to be played on 6/7 April at Wembley.

PREMIERSHIP
LIVERPOOL are back on top this weekend for now, after they won 2-1 away to FULHAM. Liverpool are now on 72 goals while Fulham picked up goal number 35. Manchester City are now second and just two points behind Liverpool with a game in hand. CHELSEA are still in sixth place after they lost 2-0 away to EVERTON. That was Chelsea’s eleventh blank of the season while Everton take their goals total up to 51. BOURNEMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to Newcastle and they are now on 52 goals. LEICESTER CITY won 2-1 away to Burnley and they are now on 46 goals.

CHAMPIONSHIP
LEEDS UNITED are down to third place in the play-off zone after they lost 1-0 at home to Sheffield United. That is Leeds fifth blank of the season. Also in the Play-off zone we have another two teams. They are WEST BROM still in fourth place after they won 1-0 away to BRENTFORD. West Brom are now on 77 goals while Brentford picked up their eighth blank score sheet and now two in a row. ASTON VILLA have moved up to sixth place after they won 3-0 at home against Middlesbrough. Villa are on 69 goals with eleven goals coming from their last four games.
Meanwhile HULL drew 2-2 at home to Queens Park Rangers and they are now on a total of 56 goals. Bottom of the table IPSWICH drew 1-1 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and they are now on 31 goals. Forest hit goal number 61. BIRMINGHAM lost 1-0 away to Preston and that is their fourteenth blank score sheet and now no goals in their last four games. ROTHERHAM lost 2-1 at home to league leaders Norwich. Rotherham picked up goal number 43. BLACKBURN ROVERS lost 4-2 away to Sheffield Wednesday and they are now on 66 goals. STOKE picked up their fourteenth blank score sheet after they drew 0-0 at home to Reading. They have now failed to score in their last three  games.

LEAGUE ONE

In second place and still five points behind Luton is Barnsley. In the Play-off zone, SUNDERLAND are in third place as they won 2-1 at home to Walsall and they are now on a total of 67 goals. PORTSMOUTH are in fourth place as they win 2-0 at home to SCUNTHORPE. Portsmouth are now on 74 goals while Scunthorpepicked up their fifteenth blank of the season. CHARLTON who are in fifth place drew 0-0 away to BRISTOL ROVERS. That is Charlton’s ninth blank of the season to Rovers fifteenth.
Meanwhile BURTON ALBION are on 58 goals after they won 3-0 at home against Blackpool. PLYMOUTH lost 2-0 away to Fleetwood and that is their thirteenth blank score sheet and now just two goals in their last four games. COVENTRY won 2-1 away to PETERBOROUGH and they are now on 45 goals and they have now scored in all of their last eight games. Borough are on 67 goals. SHREWSBURY won 2-1 at home against WYCOMBE and they are now on 56 goals to Wycombe’s 53. SOUTHEND picked up their eleventh blank score sheet after they lost 1-0 at home to AFC Wimbledon.

LEAGUE TWO
Lincoln City are still on top with MK DONS still in third place after they drew 1-1 at home to Stevenage. The Dons are now on a total of 66 and they have extended their goals run to ten games. We have just one team in the Play-off zone and they are Mansfield in fourth place and EXETER in seventh place after they won 3-0 at home to Colchester. Exeter are now on 53 goals.  
Meanwhile NOTTS COUNTY drew 0-0 at home to Morecambe and that is their sixteenth blank of the season. SWINDON drew 0-0 at home to Port Vale to pick up their fifteenth blank and now two in a row.  

SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership, top of the table CELTIC got a last minute goal against Dundee in their 1-0 win away. Celtic are now on 85 goals. RANGERS are still in second place but now ten points behind Celtic as they drew 1-1 at home to Kilmarnock. Rangers picked up goal number 82. ABERDEEN are still in third place after they drew 1-1 at home to Livingston. Aberdeen are now on 63 goals. HEARTS lost 1-0 away to HAMILTON. HIBERNIAN won 2-0 at home to Motherwell and they are now on 55 goals.
In the Championship, FALKIRK are now third from bottom after they drew 1-1 at home to Partick to pick up goal number 37 and they have extended their goals run to twelve games.
In League One, RAITH ROVERS are down to third place after they won 1-0 at home to STENHOUSEMUIR who are bottom of the league. Rovers are now on 69 goals while Stenhousemuir picked up their tenth blank score sheet.

KELLIE STRATTON is back at the number one this weekend which is her fifth weekend for this season.
Kellie picked up eight goals which include three from midweek. She is now two goals clear and her teams are once again
Celtic, Manchester City and West Brom. Kellie has moved up our Champions League to 33rd place by beating our 1990/91 Champion Robert Hough and our 1994/95 Champion Geoff Dockerill. Both finished on a total of 274 goals.
Bob Sawyer is back in second place after he collected a total of seven goals for the week. He has Celtic, Luton and Manchester City.
At the other end at 133 we still have John Filtness at the bottom for a total of twenty-four consecutive weekend as his teams pick him up three goals all from the weekend. He has now had twenty-seven weeks at the bottom but he is now ten goals adrift  this weekend. His teams are  Birmingham, Hamilton and Liverpool. But we have some good news for John and that he is now climbing up our Losers League. He has beaten our pub team R.U. Shaw from the 1995/96 Season with 146 goals.

In the English League One BARNSLEY have picked up their second blank score sheet of the week after they drew 0-0 away to Doncaster. Barnsley have now picked up a total of ten blank score sheets to date.

Norwich Back on Top Today


In the English Championship, HULL lost 3-2 away to Norwich to take their goals total up to 54 goals and Norwich back on top. BIRMINGHAM lost 2-0 at home to Millwall and that is their thirteenth blank of the season and now no goals in their last three games. DERBY drew 0-0 at home to STOKE to pick up their eleventh blank score sheet while Stoke have now had thirteen and now two in a row. ASTON VILLA won 3-1 away to NOTTINGHAM FOREST to give them a total of 66 goals while Forest are now on 60. ROTHERHAM won 2-1 away to Queens Park Rangers and they are now on 42 goals. WEST BROM won 3-0 at home to SWANSEA and that takes their goals tally up to 76 goals while Swansea picked up their twelfth blank of the season.

Rangers are out of the Scottish Cup

We had a total of thirty-two of our Golden Goals teams in action already this week and so let’s start with the Scottish WILLIAM HILL CUP Quarter-Final replays.
RANGERS are out of the cup after they lost 2-0 at home to ABERDEEN. Rangers have now had a total of eight blank score sheets to date. Aberdeen are now on a total of 62 goals. HEARTS are through to the Semi-Finals after they won 2-1 at home against Partick. Hearts have taken their goals total to 61 goals. The draw for the semi-finals are ABERDEEN v CELTIC and HEARTS v Inverness CT. Games to be played on the 13th April.

BLACKBURN are on 64 goals as they win 3-0 at home against Wigan. Bottom of the table IPSWICH drew 1-1 away to Bristol City and that is their 30th goal of the season. BRENTFORD lost 2-0 away to Sheffield United and that is their seventh blank of the season.
In League One, PETERBOROUGH picked up their eleventh blank score sheet after they lost 1-0 away to AFC Wimbledon. BARNSLEY drew 0-0 at home to SUNDERLAND and that is their ninth blank score sheet while Sunderland after a goal run of sixteen games, picked up their third blank of the season. LUTON won 1-0 away to Bradford and they are now on 73 goals while CHARLTON are on 61 as they win 2-1 at home against BURTON ALBION who are now on 55 goals. COVENTRY won 2-1 at home to Fleetwood and they are now on 43 goals. BRISTOL ROVERS are on 42 goals as they win 1-0 away to Gillingham. After a two game dry spell for goals, PLYMOUTH are now on 52 goals as they win 2-1 at home to SHREWSBURY who picked up goal number 54. In League Two, NOTTS COUNTY are now on 41 goals after they won 3-1 away to Carlisle. MANSFIELD drew 0-0 away to Crawley and that is their ninth blank of the season. Leaders LINCOLN CITY won 2-0 at home to OLDHAM and they are now on 76 goals while Oldham picked up their eleventh blank score sheet.
MK DONS have extended their goals run to nine games with 65 goals as they lost 4-2 away to Morecambe. SWINDON picked up their fourteenth blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 away to Stevenage.

In the Scottish Championship, ROSS COUNTY won 2-1 at home to FALKIRK and they are now on 64 goals and have now scored in all of their last nine games while Falkirk are on 36 goals and a goal run of eleven games.
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are on 39 goals as they drew 1-1 away to East Fife.

Week Thirty-Two

In Week Thirty-Two of the competition we have two winners this weekend to share the £6 cash prize money with 10 goals each. They were TOBY  BICKNELL our 2014/15 Champion and KEAMUS SETNA another Champion from our 2005/06 Season. Both are new winners to the season which takes our winners total up to thirty-four.
Toby became Champion in our 2014/15 Season where he finished on a score of 311 goals which currently keeps him in `4th place in our Champions League. Last season Toby finished in 133rd place with 237 goals. He picked up one weekend win. This season he has been as high as 24th and that was in Week Nine. He has picked up a total of four blank score sheets to date and his best team is Manchester City.
Keamus became Champion in our 2005/06 Season where he finished on a total of 309 goals. Keamus is in 15th place in the Champions League. Last season he finished in 78th place with a total of 267 goals. This season he has been as high as 44th place which he stayed at in Week Twenty-Four. He has picked up just one blank score sheet to date. Keamus best team is also Manchester City. Our winners teams are

Graham has Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom and a total of 91 goals. JUNE TIGHE has remained in second place again with a total of 88 goals. June has Derby, Manchester City and Tottenham. In joint third place this week we still have DANNY HARRINGTON, KELLIE STRATTON and JAMIE WOOD but they are now joined with STALKY (2) moving up from four. All three are on a total of 85 goals. In joint fourth both on 84 goals we still have JOHN DAVIES and KAREN SMITH.

The highest score that we had came from the English Premiership where LIVERPOOL won 4-2 at home against Burnley. Liverpool are now on a total of 70 goals.
Liverpool have a 100% attendance with Golden Goals and in our very first season they were our most voted team and they finished on a total of 87 goals. Their highest score came in our 1985/86 Season with 127 goals which was our highest score until Chelsea scored 128 in the 2009/10 Season. Last season they finished on a total of 88 goals. PREMIERSHIP
MANCHESTER CITY are still on top this weekend after they won 3-1 at home against Watford. City have taken their goals total to 111 goals. Liverpool are still in second place and one point behind City after their win. TOTTENHAM have remained in third place after they lost 2-1 away to Southampton after going a goal in front in the first half.. Tottenham are now on 73 goals. ARSENAL have moved up to fourth place after they won 2-0 at home to MANCHESTER UNITED. Arsenal are now on a total of 72 goals while United picked up their fourth blank score sheet and they drop down to fifth place this week. CHELSEA are in sixth place after they drew 1-1 at home to WOLVES. Chelsea are now on 63 goals while Wolves hit goal number 48 and remain in seventh place in the league. WESTHAM lost 2-0 away to Cardiff and that is their twelfth blank of the season while it’s 50 goals for BOURNEMOUTH after they won 2-0 away to Huddersfield. LEICESTER CITY won 3-1 at home against FULHAM and they are now on 44 goals to Fulhams 34. EVERTON went two goals up in the first half but then lost 3-2 at full time but they are now on a total of 49 goals.

CHAMPIONSHIP
LEEDS UNITED are still in second place after they won 1-0 away to Bristol City. Leeds are now on 63 goals. In the Play-off zone we have two teams this weekend. They are WEST BROM still in fourth place after they drew 1-1 at home to bottom of the league IPSWICH. West Brom picked up goal number 73 after a two game dry spell, while Ipswich are on 29.
DERBY are in sixth place after they drew 1-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Derby are on a total of 62 goals.
Meanwhile BIRMINGHAM lost 1-0 at home to ASTON VILLA. Birmingham have now had a total of twelve blank score sheets and now two in a row while Villa hit goal number 63. BLACKBURN ROVERS picked up their eighth blank of the season after they lost 1-0 at home to Preston. BRENTFORD are on 74 goals as they won 2-1 away to Middlesbrough. NOTTINGHAM FOREST won 3-0 at home to HULL and that takes their goals tally up to 59 while Hull picked up their twelfth blank of the season. STOKE drew 0-0 away to Queens Park Rangers and that is their twelfth blank score sheet. ROTHERHAM lost 2-0 away to Sheffield United and that is their thirteenth blank score sheet.

LEAGUE ONE
We still have the top five here with LUTON still on top after they drew 0-0 away to PLYMOUTH. As Luton’s goal run of eight games comes to an end, they have picked up their eighth blank score sheet, Plymouth have had twelve. In second place and still five points behind Luton is BARNSLEY. They won 2-0 at home against ACCRINGTON STANLEY. Barnsley are now on a total of 73 goals while Accrington picked up their fourteenth blank of the season. In the Play-off zone, SUNDERLAND are in third place as they drew 1-1 away to WYCOMBE and they are now on 65 goals and a goal run of sixteen games. Wycombe hit goal number 51. PORTSMOUTH are in fourth place as they lost 2-1 away to CHARLTON who are in fifth place. Portsmouth are on 69 goals while Charlton are on 59 goals. 
Meanwhile SOUTHEND drew 2-2 away to Blackpool and they are now on 57 goals while PETERBOROUGH are on 66 as they lost 2-1 away to Bradford. ROCHDALE won 2-1 at home to SHREWSBURY and they are on 49 goals while Shrewsbury are on 53. SCUNTHORPE lost 1-0 at home to BRISTOL ROVERS and that is their fourteenth blank of the season while Rovers take their goals total up to 41.

LEAGUE TWO
Lincoln City are still on top after their win on Friday night with MK DONS in third place after they won 3-1 away to Macclesfield. The Dons are now on a total of 63 and they have extended their goals run to eight games. We have just one team in the Play-off zone and they are MANSFIELD in fourth place. They lost 2-1 away to Port Vale but that is their 62nd goal of the season. Meanwhile OLDHAM are on 61 goals and they have now scored in all of their last ten games as they drew 1-1 away to Cambridge Utd. SWINDON lost 2-1 away to Carlisle and that is their 45th goal of the season. NOTTS COUNTY lost 4-1 away to Cheltenham and they are now on a total of 38 goals after a two game dry spell for goals. EXETER lost 2-1 away to Northampton and that is goal number 50 for them.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership, top of the table CELTIC drew 0-0 at home to ABERDEEN to pick up their sixth blank score sheet of the season after a goal run of eleven games. Aberdeen picked up their ninth and now just one goal in their last three games.
Rangers are still in second place but now eight points behind Celtic after their drew 1-1 against Hibernian on Friday night.  HEARTS are on 59 goals as they win 1-0 away to Dundee. HAMILTON lost 3-0 away to Motherwell and that is their nineteenth blank of the season.
In the Championship, ROSS COUNTY are still top as they win 2-0 at home against Morton. County are now on 62 goals and a goal run of eight games. ALLOA are now rock bottom here as they lost 1-0 at home to Dunfermline. That is Alloa’s thirteenth blank of the season.
In League One, RAITH ROVERS are up to second place after they won 1-0 at home to Airdrie. Rovers are now on a total of 68 goals. It’s 50 goals for DUMBARTON after they won 3-1 away to Montrose. STENHOUSEMUIR are bottom of the league as they win 2-0 away to Arbroath. They are now on 38 goals.
In League Two, PETERHEAD are still on top after they won 2-1 at home to Anna and they are now on a total of 58 goals.

Our Best teams this week are LINCOLN CITY after they have scored in all of their last twenty-three League and Cup games out of forty-one played. They have a total of 74 goals which still gives them a average score of 1.8 goals per game.

Our worst team this week is back to HAMILTON as they have now picked up a total of nineteenth blank score sheets out of thirty-four league and cup games played this season. They have now scored just two goals in their last four games.

Our biggest result in our 36th Season is MANCHESTER CITY as they win 9-0 at home against league one BURTON ALBION in the Carabao/League Cup semi-final first leg tie in Week Twenty-Four.

DAVID BARRETT is at the number one this weekend which is our eighth player to do so this season. David picked up five goals all from the weekend. David’s combination is Brentford, Celtic and Manchester City but he still remains in 35th place
In our Champions League. Kellie Stratton is back in second place after she collected a total of four goals for the week. Kellie has the combination of  Celtic, Manchester City and West Brom.
At the other end at 133 we still have John Filtness at the bottom for a total of twenty-three consecutive weekend as his teams pick him up four goals all from the weekend. He has now had twenty-six weeks at the bottom but he is now six goals adrift  this weekend. His teams are  Birmingham, Hamilton and Liverpool.
