We have started the first round of the English League Cup where BOURNEMOUTH won 5-0 at home to MK Dons. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are to be our first team to go out of the competition as they drew 0-0 at home to Huddersfield and then lost 4-2 on penalties.
The Scottish season has kicked off with their first league games for Season 39.
In the Premiership, Champions RANGERS started off with a 3-0 home win against Livingston. CELTIC lost 2-1 away to HEARTS. Hearts are now on a total of 10 goals. ABERDEEN won their first game 2-0 at home to Dundee United.
In the Championship KILMARNOCK won 2-0 at home to Ayr Utd and that now gives them a total of 7 goals.
In League
Two, new boys KELTY HEARTS won their first league game 2-0 at home
to Cowdenbeath. Kelty Hearts are on a total of 10 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR
lost their first game 1-0 at home against Stirling. That is their first Blank
of the season.
