Week Thirty

In Week Thirty of the competition we had five players that picked up our highest weekend score with 8 goals each. That means that there is no payout this weekend and next weekend we will have our fifth Rollover of the season worth £10. The players that missed out on the cash this weekend are JASON COOPER, STUART KEMP(2), LUCIFER (John Wood), EMMA NEWMAN and BOB SAWYER.  

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Most of us managed to pick up some midweek goals this week and the race for the cash has almost remined the same this week. We still have LYANNA GRIMWOOD in the lead now with a total of 95 goals and needs just five goals to claim the cash. Lyanna teams are Fulham. Manchester City and Sunderland. In second place we still have BOB SOPER now with a total of 91 goals. In third place is still LOUIE HARRINGTON now with a total of 85 goals. In fourth place with 81 goals we now have KEAMUS SETNA moving up from six. In fifth place down from four we have PETER PORTER on a total of 79 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had all but three of our teams in action this weekend and out of the ones that did play twenty failed to score any goals. We had a really bad weekend for goals as the weekends average score fell from five goals of last weekend down to just 3 goals this week. The highest score we had was four goals and we had four teams that picked them up. They came from OXFORD UNITED, SALFORD CITY, SUTTON UNITED and TOTTENHAM. 

In the Carabao/League Cup Final

We had both teams in the final. But after 90 minutes and extra time, the score remained 0-0 between CHELSEA and LIVERPOOL. Liverpool finally won 11-10 on penalties.  After a goal run of eight games, Liverpool picked up their third blank of the season. Chelsea picked up their fourth blank. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

After scoring a very late goal MANCHESTER CITY won 1-0 away to Everton to take their goals total to 78. They have extended their goal run to nineteen games and now six points in front of Liverpool who now have a game in hand. Chelsea are still in third place. MANCHESTER UNITED are still in fourth place after they drew 0-0 at home to WATFORD to pick up their sixth blank of the season after a goal run of nine games. Watford have now had a total of thirteen blank score sheets. WEST HAM are still in fifth place after they won 1-0 at home to WOLVES.  West Ham are on a total of 52 goals while Wolves picked up their thirteenth blank score sheet. BRENTFORD lost 2-0 at home to Newcastle and that is their eleventh blank score sheet and now just one goal in their last four games. BRIGHTON lost 2-0 at home to ASTON VILLA and they have now had a total of nine blank score sheets and now three in a row. Villa are on a total of 40 goals after a two game dry spell. CRYSTAL PALACE are on 41 goals after they drew 1-1 at home to Burnley. TOTTENHAM pick up their biggest win of the season after they won 4-0 away to Leeds Utd and that has now taken their goals tally to 46. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

We still have the top two here with FULHAM top after they won 1-0 away to CARDIFF. Fulham hit goal number 86 and have scored in all of their last twelve games. BOURNEMOUTH remain in second place after they won 2-1 at home to Stoke. Bournemouth are on 59 goals.

Meanwhile with no teams in the play-offs this week, BARNSLEY won 3-2 at home against Middlesbrough and they are now on a total of 29 goals. READING lost 4-1 away to Blackpool and they are on a total of 43 goals. It’s 50 goals for PRESTON after they drew 1-1 away to Coventry. DERBY are now second from bottom after they lost 1-0 away to Luton. That is Derby’s eleventh blank of the season. SHEFFIELD UNITED picked up their twelfth blank after they lost 1-0 away to Millwall. NOTTINGHAM FOREST won 2-0 at home to Bristol City and they are on a total of 52 goals. PETERBOROUGH are bottom of the league after they lost 3-0 at home to HULL. Borough picked up their twentieth blank score sheet and now just one goal in their last six games. Hull are now on a total of 33 goals. 

LEAGUE ONE

We still have the top two teams here with ROTHERHAM still at the top after they won 1-0 away to PLYMOUTH. Rotherham picked up their 67th goal of the season and now have a goal run of nine games. Plymouth picked up their sixth blank of the season and now two in a week. WIGAN are still in second place after they lost 3-0 at home to SUNDERLAND. That is Wigans seventh blank of the season while Sunderland have taken their goals total to 69.

In the Play-Offs we still have three teams with OXFORD UNITED in fourth place after they won 4-2 at home to Cambridge Utd. Oxford are now on a total of 71 goals. Sunderland are now in fifth place after their win with SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY in sixth place after they won 2-0 at home to CHARLTON. Wednesday are on a total of 49 goals as Charlton picked up their tenth blank and now three in a row.

Meanwhile its 60 goals for WYCOMBE after they lost 3-2 away to Accrington Stanley. BURTON ALBION lost 2-0 away to Shrewsbury and that is their tenth blank of the season. LINCOLN CITY lost 2-0 at home to Gillingham and that is their thirteenth blank score sheet. BOLTON lost 2-0 away to MK Dons and they have now had a total of fifteen blank score sheets after a goal run of ten games. IPSWICH drew1-1 away to Morecambe and they are on a total of 56 goals. PORTSMOUTH drew 3-3 at home to Fleetwood and they are now on a total of 46 goals and a goal run of six games. 

LEAGUE TWO

In the Play-Offs we still have three teams this week and they are EXETER CITY still in fourth place after they drew 1-1 away to Bristol Rovers to pick up goal number 50. SUTTON UNITED still in fifth place after they won 4-1 at home to bottom of the table SCUNTHORPE. Sutton are now on a total of 54 goals while Scunthorpe picked up goal number 24. SWINDON are still in seventh place after they lost 2-1 at home to SALFORD CITY. Swindon are on a total of 61 goals while Salford are on a total of 43 goals.

Meanwhile CARLISLE won 1-0 away to Leyton Orient and that is goal number 27 for them. STEVENAGE picked up their seventh blank of the season and now four in a row after they lost 2-0 away to Port Vale.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the Premiership CELTIC are still three point in front after they drew 0-0 away to Hibernian. Celtic after a goal run of ten games picked up their fifth blank of the season. RANGERS have remained in second place and failed to catch up with their rivals after they drew 2-2 at home to Motherwell after going two goals up by half time. Rangers are on a total of 73 goals. HEARTS remain in third place after they won 2-0 away to St Mirren and they are on a total of 53 goals. ABERDEEN drew again 1-1 at home to Dundee Utd and they are on a total of 38 goals and a goal run of seven games.

In the Championship KILMARNOCK drew 0-0 away to Dunfermline and that is their ninth blank of the season.

In League Two KELTY HEARTS remained at the top after they won 3-1 at home to Anna. Kelty have now taken their goals total to 68 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR won 2-0 at home against Forfar and they are on a total of 46 goals.

Our on-form team this week are MANCHESTER CITY after scoring in all of their last nineteen League/Cup games. They have a total of 78 goals. 

Our worst team this week is PETERBOROUGH after they picked up a total of twenty blank score sheets out of a total of thirty-six league/cup games. They have scored just one goal in their last six games. 

Our highest goal scorers in our 39th Season are OXFORD UNITED as they won 7-2 away to Gillingham in the league in Week Twenty-Six. FULHAM have now scored seven goals twice this season. They first won 7-0 away to Blackburn Rovers in the league in Week Fourteen and they have also won 7-0 away to Reading in the league in Week Twenty-Four. MANCHESTER CITY winning 7-0 at home to Leeds Utd in the league in Week Twenty. CHELSEA won 7-0 at home to Norwich in the league in Week Twelve. BRENTFORD won 7-0 at home to Oldham in the third round of the Carabao/League Cup in Week Eight.

SCOTT THOMSON (2) has become our eighth player to be top this season after he picked up a total of 12 goals from the week. Scott’s teams are Liverpool, Manchester City and Oxford United. Keamus Setna has moved into second place this weekend after he picked up a total of 11 goals from the week. His teams are Liverpool, Manchester City and Sunderland.

At the other end at 113 we still have ZIGGY (John Wood) again this weekend which is now his twenty-fourth consecutive weekend at the bottom and now twenty-six over the season. Ziggy picked up 8 goals from the week. His teams are Crystal Palace, Scunthorpe and Stenhousemuir. 

Its all change at the top this weekend due to teams not scoring.

Arsenal Moving Up

In the Premier League ARSENAL won 2-1 at home to WOLVES after going a goal down in the first half. Arsenal have move up to fifth place and they are on a total of 54 goals. Wolves picked up goal number 33.

Liverpool Big Six

In the Premier League LIVERPOOL have picked up their biggest win of the season as they won 6-0 at home to Leeds Utd. Liverpool in second place are now just three points behind leaders Manchester City and they have taken their goals tally up to 87 goals. TOTTENHAM lost 1-0 away to Burnley and that is their tenth blank of the season. WATFORD lost 4-1 at home to CRYSTAL PALACE to pick up their 28th goal of the season. Palace with their highest result of the season, are now on a total of 40 goals after they failed to score in their last two games. 

In the Championship FULHAM have stayed at the top after they won 2-1 at home to PETERBOROUGH and they are on a total of 85 goals and a goal run of eleven games now. Peterborough after they failed to score in their previous four games picked up their 28th goal of the season. DERBY lost 2-1 at home to Millwall and that is their 38th goal of the season. CARDIFF CITY have extended their goal run to nine games after they lost 2-1 away to Huddersfield. SHEFFIELD UNITED have moved into the play-offs after they won 1-0 at home against Blackburn. United hit goal number 47.

Swindons Big Night

In the Championship HULL lost 2-0 at home to bottom of the table BARNSLEY. Hull have now picked up a total of seventeen blank score sheets and now just two goals in their last six games. Barnsley are on a total of 26 goals. After a dry spell of five games without a goal, WEST BROM are now on a total of 36 goals as they lost 2-1 away to Middlesbrough. PRESTON drew 0-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST to pick up their twelfth blank of the season to Forest’s total of nine. READING won 2-1 at home to Birmingham and they are on a total of 52 goals. 

In League One top of the table ROTHERHAM won 2-0 at home against Morecambe and they are on a total of 66 goals and a goal run of eight games. WIGAN are still in second place after they won 3-1 away to WYCOMBE. Wigan are now on a total of 64 goals while Wycombe picked up gal number 58. SUNDERLAND have moved back in to the play-offs as they drew 1-1 at home to BURTON ALBION. Sunderland are on a total of 66 goals while Burton are on 46. After a goal run of fifteen games, PLYMOUTH picked up their fifth blank of the season after they lost 2-0 away to Cambridge Utd. CHARLTON lost 2-0 at home against MK Dons to pick up their ninth blank and now two in a row. OXFORD UNITED won 1-0 away to Crewe and they are on a total of 67 goals. IPSWICH drew 0-0 at home to Cheltenham and that is their eleventh blank of the season. PORTSMOUTH won 2-1 away to Shrewsbury and they are on a total of 43 goals. Its 60 goals for BOLTON after they won 3-1 at home to LINCOLN CITY. Bolton have now scored in all of their last ten games while Lincoln are on 40 goals. 

In League Two SWINDON picked up the highest result of the night after they won 5-0 at home against Walsall. Swindon have taken their goals total to 60 goals. SCUNTHORPE drew 0-0 at home to Northampton and that is their seventeenth blank of the season. 

In the Scottish League Two, KELTY HEARTS won 1-0 at home to Cowdenbeath and are now nine points in front. Kelty are on a total of 65 goals after they failed to score in their last two games.

Week Twenty-Nine

In Week Twenty-Nine of the competition we had our fifth players to of won twice this season on a total of 10 goals. Our winner was STUART KEMP  with his second combo and he takes the full  £5 Weekend Cash Prize Money this time. Stuart last won with his first combination in Week Eleven when he had to share the cash. With this combination (2) he has picked up a total of two blank weekend score sheets and this is his person best for his second selection. The highest that he has been with this one is now 45th place. His best team are Liverpool. His winning teams are

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had all but eight of our teams in action this weekend as some were cancelled due to the weather we had over the weekend. Out of the ones that did play twelve failed to score any goals. We had a really good weekend as the weekends average score remained at 5 goals for a second weekend running. The highest score came from WYCOMBE with a total of five goals. They drew 5-5 at home against Cheltenham and that is their personal best result this season so far. Wycombe have taken their goals tally up to 57.

Wycombe became our 85th voted English team in their very first season of 1993/94. In that season they finished on a total of 85 goals which is their best end of season score to date. The Last time that we had Wycombe in the competition was back in 2018/19 Season and they ended on a total of 61 goals. This is their 12th Season with Golden Goals and in that time they have scored a total of 788 goals. That now gives them an average score of 65 goals per season to date. They have just one vote this season.

MANCHESTER CITY have now lost just three league games after they lost 3-2 at home to TOTTENHAM. City are still top of the league and they are on a total of 77 goals. They have extended their goal run to eighteen games. Tottenham have taken their goals total to 42. LIVERPOOL are still in second place as they won 3-1 at home to Norwich after going a goal down. Liverpool are now on a total of 81 goals and a goal run of seven games. CHELSEA are still in third place after they won 1-0 away to CRYSTAL PALACE. Chelsea picked up their 63rd goal of the season while Palace picked up their ninth blank and now two in a row. MANCHESTER UNITED are back in fourth place as they win 4-2 away to Leeds Utd. United are now on 46 goals and a goal run of nine games. WEST HAM are down to fifth place after they drew 1-1 at home to Newcastle to pick up goal number 51. ARSENAL won 2-1 at home to BRENTFORD and they are on a total of 52 goals while Brentford picked up goal number 44 after they had failed to score in their previous two games. ASTON VILLA lost 1-0 at home to WATFORD and that is their sixth blank and now two games in a row. Watford after failing to score in their last four games, are now on a total of 27 goals. BRIGHTON picked up their eighth blank and now two in a row after they lost 3-0 at home to Burnley. WOLVES won 2-1 at home to LEICESTER CITY and they are on a total of 32 goals to Leicester’s total of 49. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

We still have the top two here with FULHAM top after they lost 2-1 at home to Huddersfield. Fulham hit goal number 83 and have scored in all of their last ten games. Bournemouth remain in second place after their game was cancelled due to the weather.

In the Play-Offs we have just one team this weekend and they are SHEFFIELD UNITED in sixth place. They won 4-0 at home to SWANSEA. After a dry spell of two blank score sheets, United have taken their goals total to 46. Swansea picked up their twelfth blank of the season.

WEST BROM picked up their fifteenth blank and now five in a row after they lost 2-0 away to Luton. Plymouth are on a total of 66 goals and they have now scored in all of their last fifteen games. Wycombe have moved down to sixth place after their draw.

Meanwhile BOLTON won 4-0 at home against AFC Wimbledon and they are now on a total of 57 and a goal run of nine games. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY won 3-0 away to Doncaster and they have taken their goals total up to 47. IPSWICH won 3-0 at home to BURTON ALBION and they are now on a total of 55 goals while Burton picked up their ninth blank of the season. SUNDERLAND lost 2-1 at home to MK Dons and they are on a total of 65 goals.

In the Play-Offs we now have three teams this week and they are Exeter City still in fourth place with SUTTON UNITED still in fifth place after they drew 1-1 away to Hartlepool.  Sutton are on a total of 50 goals. SWINDON are now in seventh place after they won 3-0 away to CARLISLE UNITED. Swindon have taken their goals tally to 55 goals while Carlisle picked up their sixteenth blank of the season

Meanwhile SCUNTHORPE are rock bottom of the league after they lost 2-1 at home to Rochdale. Scunthorpe picked up goal number 23 and now just two goal in their last five games. STEVENAGE lost 4-0 at home to Bristol Rovers and that is their sixteenth blank and now three games in a row.

Rotherham Remain Top

Due to the storm “Eunice” that hit the UK yesterday, we only had one of our games that managed to get played. In League One top of the table ROTHERHAM drew 1-1 at home to second in the table WIGAN. Rotherham are on a total of 64 goals and a goal run of seven games. Wigan hit goal number 61.

Another Blank for Borough

In the Championship PETERBOROUGH drew 0-0 at home to READING. Peterborough who are third from bottom, have how had a total of eighteen blank score sheets and now three in a row. They have netted just two goals in their last five games. Three Wins in Five for United

In the Premier League MANCHESTER UNITED are back up to fourth place after they beat 10 men BRIGHTON 2-0 at home. United are on a total of 42 goals and a goal run of now eight games. Brighton picked up their seventh blank after a goal run of nine games. 

In the Championship CARDIFF CITY won 2-0 at home to Coventry and they are now on a total of 44 goals and a goal run of seven games. SHEFFIELD UNITED drew 0-0 at home to HULL and that is their eleventh blank score sheet and now two in a row. Hull picked up their sixteenth and also two in a row. Hull have scored just one goal in their last four games. 

In League One BURTON ALBION won 3-1 at home against BOLTON. Burton have taken their goals tally up to 45 goals while Bolton hit goal number 53 and have now scored in all of their last eight games. LINCOLN CITY picked up their twelfth blank of the season as they lost 1-0 at home to Doncaster. It’s 60 goals for WIGAN after they won 2-0 at home to Crewe. 

In League Two EXETER CITY picked up the highest result of the night as they won 4-3 at home to Harrogate Town. Exeter have moved up to third place and are now on a total of 49 goals. SUTTON UNITED lost 2-0 away to Bristol Rovers and that is their sixth blank of the season. 

In the Scottish Premiership ABERDEEN drew 1-1 at home to St Johnstone and that is goal number 36 for them.

Are West Brom in Trouble?

In the Championship WEST BROM drew 0-0 at home against Blackburn Rovers to pick up their fourteenth blank score sheet of the season. They have moved up to eighth place in the league but they have failed to score in their last four games. Week Twenty-Eight

In Week Twenty-Eight of the competition we had two players that won this weekend on a total of 9 goals each. That now takes our winners total up to twenty-nine in our 39th Season. Our winners are VINCENT CRUICKSHANK and CHRIS NUNN and they share the £5 Weekend Cash Prize Money.

Vincent started with Golden Goals back in the 2010/11 Season on where he finished the season in 94th place with a total of 228 goals. The last season that Vincent was in was the 2019/18 Season where he finished in 38th place with a total of 286 goals. This season he has been as high as 20th place in Week Twenty. He has picked up three weekend blank score sheets and his best team is Manchester City. Chris started with us back in the 1992/93 Season on where he finished in 39th place with a total of 213 goals. The last time that Chris was with us was back in the 2017/18 Season on where he finished in the winning frame in 27th place with 294 goals. This season he has been as high as 83rd place in Week Two. He has had a total of four blank score sheets and Manchester City is also his best team. Our winners teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Everyone of us managed to pick up some midweek goals this week and we still have two players that are in front of the rest of the pack. We can add another thirty players names to the list this week who are at the half way mark. We now have eighty-one players that are nearer to that 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot. The race for the cash has remained the same this week. We have LYANNA GRIMWOOD in the lead with a total of 92 goals and now needs just eight goals to claim the cash. Lyanna teams are Fulham. Manchester City and Sunderland. In second place we still have BOB SOPER now with a total of 87 goals. In third place is still LOUIE HARRINGTON now with a total of 82 goals. In fourth place with 78 goals we still have PETER PORTER. In fifth place we still have COLIN WEBB but he is now joined with CHRIS BOLBERY both on a total of 75 goals. In sixth place we have KEAMUS SETNA and JAMIE WOOD both on a total of 74 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had all but four of our teams in action this weekend. Out of the ones that did play fourteen failed to score any goals. So it will be of no surprise that the weekends average score went down from six goals last weekend to 5 goals this weekend. The highest scores came from CELTIC, MANCHESTER CITY and PORTSMOUTH with a total of four goals each. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

MANCHESTER CITY won 4-0 away to Norwich and they are now on a total of 75 goals. They have extended their goal run to seventeen games and are still nine points in front. LIVERPOOL are still in second place as they win 1-0 away to Burnley and they are on a total of 78 goals and a goal run of six games. BRENTFORD drew 0-0 at home to CRYSTAL PALACE to pick up their tenth blank and now two games in a row. Palace picked up their eighth. MANCHESTER UNITED drew 1-1 at home to Southampton and they are on 40 goals and a goal run of seven games. WATFORD lost 2-0 at home to BRIGHTON and that is their twelfth blank and now four in a row. Brighton are on a total of 34 goals and have now scored in all of their last nine games. LEICESTER CITY drew 2-2 at home to WEST HAM to take their goals total to 48 while West Ham are on 50 goals. ASTON VILLA picked up their fifth blank after they lost 1-0 away to Newcastle. TOTTENHAM lost 2-0 at home to WOLVES and that is their ninth blank score sheet. Wolves are on a total of 30 goals after failing to score in their previous two games. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

We still have the top two here with FULHAM top as they win 1-0 away to HULL. Fulham hit goal number 82 and have scored in all of their last nine games. Hull picked up their fifteenth blank of the season. BOURNEMOUTH are in second place after they won 2-1 away to Blackpool. Bournemouth are on a total of 57 goals. We do not have any teams in the play-offs this week.

Meanwhile BARNSLEY won 1-0 at home to QPR to take their goals total to 24. SHEFFIELD UNITED drew 0-0 away to Huddersfield to pick up blank number ten. DERBY are on a total of 36 goals but they lost 4-1 away to Middlesbrough. CARDIFF CITY lost 2-1 away to Millwall and they are on a total of 42 goals and a goal run of six games. It’s 50 goals for NOTTINGHAM FOREST as they drew 2-2 at home to Stoke. PETERBOROUGH lost 1-0 at home to PRESTON and that is their seventeenth blank and now two in a row. Preston are on a total of 47 goals. READING lost 3-2 away to Coventry and they are on a total of 37 goals. SWANSEA won 3-1 at home to Bristol City to take their goals tally to 41. 

LEAGUE ONE

We still have the top two teams here as well and they are ROTHERHAM who won 2-0 away to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Rotherham are now on a total of 63 goals and a goal run of six games. WIGAN remained second place after they won 2-1 at home to CHARLTON. Wigan are on a total of 58 goals after a two game dry spell. Charlton hit goal number 47 and a goal run of seven games.

In the Play-Offs we still have three teams with SUNDERLAND still in fourth place after they drew 1-1 away to AFC Wimbledon. Sunderland are on a total of 64 goals. WYCOMBE have moved up to fifth place after they drew 1-1 away to LINCOLN CITY. Wycombe are on 52 goals after they failed to score in their previous two games. Lincoln are on a total of 39 goals. PLYMOUTH are now in sixth place after they won 1-0 at home to Shrewsbury. Plymouth picked up goal number 64 and have now scored in all of their last fourteen games.

Meanwhile BURTON ALBION drew 2-2 at home against Cambridge Utd. Burton are on a total of 42 goals. IPSWICH picked up their tenth blank of the season after they drew 0-0 away to MK Dons. OXFORD UNITED lost 3-2 at home to BOLTON and they are on a total of 62 goals to Bolton’s total of 52 and a goal run of seven games. PORTSMOUTH won 4-0 at home against Doncaster and they are now on a total of 41 goals. 

LEAGUE TWO

In the Play-Offs we have two teams this week and they are EXETER CITY now in fourth place after they won 1-0 away to Bradford. Exeter are on a total of 45 goals. SUTTON UNITED are down to fifth place after they drew 1-1 at home to Forest Green.   

Meanwhile STEVENAGE drew 0-0 away to Barrow and they have now had a total of fifteen blank score sheets and now two in a row. CARLISLE drew 2-2 away to Colchester and they are on a total of 26 goals. SALFORD CITY are on 39 goals as they win 2-0 away to Leyton Orient. SWINDON won 3-0 at home to bottom of the table SCUNTHORPE. Swindon are now on a total of 52 goals as Scunthorpe picked up their sixteenth blank and now just one goal in their last four games.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the WILLIAM HILL SCOTTISH CUP fifth round, we had just five of our teams in this round. Out of them three are through to the quarter-finals. They are RANGERS who won 3-0 away to Anna and they are now on a total of 70 goals. CELTIC won 4-0 at home to Ross County and they are now on a total of 72 goals. HEARTS drew 0-0 against Livingston after extra time but won 4-3 on penalties. The teams out are ABERDEEN who lst 2-1 away to Motherwell and that is goal number 35 for them. KELTY HEARTS lost 4-0 away to St Mirren and that is their fourth blank of the season. 

In the Championship KILMARNOCK won 2-1 at home to Dunfermline and they have taken their goals tally to 40.

Our on-form team this week are MANCHESTER CITY after scoring in all of their last seventeen League/Cup games. They have a total of 75 goals. 

Our worst team this week is PETERBOROUGH after they picked up a total of seventeen blank score sheets out of a total of thirty-two league/cup games. They have failed to score in their last two games. 

Our highest goal scorers in our 39th Season are OXFORD UNITED as they won 7-2 away to Gillingham in the league in Week Twenty-Six. FULHAM have now scored seven goals twice this season. They first won 7-0 away to Blackburn Rovers in the league in Week Fourteen and they have also won 7-0 away to Reading in the league in Week Twenty-Four. MANCHESTER CITY winning 7-0 at home to Leeds Utd in the league in Week Twenty. CHELSEA won 7-0 at home to Norwich in the league in Week Twelve. BRENTFORD won 7-0 at home to Oldham in the third round of the Carabao/League Cup in Week Eight.

LYANNA GRIMWOOD has moved back to the top this weekend as she picked up a total of 12 goals for the week. Lyanna has now been top for four weeks over the season. Her teams are Fulham, Manchester City and Sunderland. Peter Wellard drops down to second place after he picked up a total of 10 goals from the week. Peter’s teams are Chelsea, Fulham and Manchester City.

At the other end at 113 we still have ZIGGY (John Wood) again this weekend which is now his twenty-second consecutive weekend at the bottom and now twenty-four over the season. Ziggy picked up just two goals from midweek and failed to pick any up at the weekend. His teams are Crystal Palace, Scunthorpe and Stenhousemuir. 

There is still a little movement in the top ten this weekend.
