Good Friday Results

In the Championship on Good Friday, we have new leaders this week, IPSWICH after they won 1-0 away to Blackburn Rovers and are on a total of 93 goals and have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games. LEEDS UNITED are 2nd after they drew 2-2 away to Watford. Leeds are on a total of 84 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 17 league/cup games.

In the Play-off’s we have three of the four teams they are now LEICESTER CITY in 3rd place after they lost 1-0 away to BRISTOL CITY. Leicester after a goal run of 25 league/cup games, picked up their 4th blank of the season. Bristol picked up their 51st goal of the season. In fourth place we have SOUTHAMPTON after they drew 1-1 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH. Southampton are on a total of 83 goals while Brough are on 70. NORWICH are in 6th place after they won 2-1 at home against PLYMOUTH. Norwich are on a total of 80 goals and a goal run of 11 league/cup games. Plymouth are on a total of 64 goals.

Meanwhile SUNDERLAND won 2-0 away to Cardiff and are on a total of 51 goals. STOKE are on 47 goals after they won 2-0 away to Hull. After they had failed to score in their last 2 games, SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY drew 1-1 at home to SWANSEA CITY. Wednesday are on a total of 39 goals while Swansea are on 56 goals. 

In League One DERBY are still in 2nd place after they won 1-0 at home against BLACKPOOL. Derby are on a total of 73 goals while Blackpool picked up their 15th blank of the season and now 2 in a row.

In the Play-offs we still have the two teams. They are PETERBOROUGH in 4th place after they lost 3-1 at home against Carlisle. Borough are on a total of 87 goals. BARNSLEY are still in 5th place after they lost 2-0 at home against Cambridge Utd. Barnsley have picked up their 4th blank of the season and now 2 in a row.

Meanwhile CHARLTON drew 1-1 away to Exeter and are on a total of 66 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. BRISTOL ROVERS lost 2-0 away to Port Vale and picked up their 9th blank score sheet and now they have failed to score in all of their last 4 league/cup games. READING won 1-0 at home against Northampton and are on a total of 65 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 14 league/cup games. 

In League Two WREXHAM in 3rd place won 2-0 at home against Mansfield and are on a total of 76 goals.

In the Play-offs we still have just one team and they are MK DONS in 4th place. They won 5-0 at home against Walsall and have taken their goals tally to 70 goals.

Meanwhile AFC WIMBLEDON drew 1-1n at home against Harrogate and hit goal number 68. SALFORD CITY lost 2-1 at home against SUTTON UNITED and are on a total of 70 goals while Sutton are on 57 goals. NOTTS COUNTY lost 2-1 away to Swindon and are on a total of 82 goals.

Week Thirty-Four

In Week Thirty-Four of the competition we had no prize money this weekend due to the Internationals being played. There will also be no prize money next weekend either which is Easter weekend, as there are hardly any games over the weekend. So most of us picked up yet another blank score sheet this week but we did have 2 players that picked up the most number of goals this weekend with 4 goals each. They are DAVID BARRETT with Celtic, Cove Rangers and Wrexham with our 2015/16 Champion RICHARD WILLIAMS with Falkirk, Manchester City and Ross County. 

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Only 3 of us have managed to pick up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has remained the same as last week. In first place this week we still have TONY KING with a total of 97 goals. Tony needs just 3 goals for the cash. His teams are Chelsea, Peterborough and Rangers. In second place we still have ANN WELLARD with a total of 96 goals. In third place we have MARK JOHNSTON with a total of 95 goals. In fourth place all with a total of 94 goals we still have GEOFF CARTHY, DOUG MORBEY and  JAMES SOMERVILLE. In fifth place we have BAILEY MORAN and PETER PORTER both are on a total of 93 goals. In sixth place we have ANDY EYLES  with a total of 92 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had just 13 of our teams in action over the weekend and out of them, 4 teams failed to score any goals. The highest score that we had was 4 goals and they came from the Scottish League One where FALKIRK. They won 4-1 at home to Edinburgh City. Falkirk have taken their goals tally up to 87 goals and have now scored in all of their last 17 league/cup games.

Falkirk became our 27th voted Scottish team in their first season of 2002/03. In that season they picked up their best end of season score of 92 goals. Last time out in the 2020/21 Season, they finished on a total of 40 goals. This is their 11th appearance with Golden Goals and over the years they have netted a total of 774 goals. This gives them an average score of 70 goals per season to date. This season they are doing very well and have only picked up 3 blank score sheets to date. They have just 1 vote this season. LEAGUE ONE

We only managed to have one of our teams play in this league and they are our highest team DERBY in second place. They lost 1-0 away to Northampton. Derby after they had scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games, picked up their 6th blank of the season.

In the Play-offs again we still have two teams and they are Peterborough in fourth place and Barnsley in fifth place.

LEAGUE TWO

WREXHAM are our highest team here still in third place after they won 3-1 away to Grimsby after they had failed to score in their previous 2 games. Wrexham have taken their goals tally to 74.

In the Play-offs we still have the single team and they are MK DONS still in fourth place after they lost 5-0 away to Stockport County. The Dons have now had a total of 11 blank score sheets to date.

Meanwhile WIMBLEDON drew 1-1 away to Crewe and are on a total of 67 goals. NOTTS COUNTY lost 2-1 at home against SALFORD CITY and are on a total of 81 goals. Salford are on a total of 69 goals. SUTTON UNITED won 3-1at home against Accrington and have taken their goals total to 55 goals. 

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In League One Falkirk are still top of the table after their win. KELTY HEARTS lost 3-2 away to Annan and are on a total of 52 goals. COVE RANGERS lost 3-1 at home against Hamilton and are on a total of 61 goals.

In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are still top of the table after they drew 0-0 at home to Peterhead. Stenhousemuir picked up their 6th blank of the season. EAST FIFE won 2-1 at home against Stranraer and they are on a total of 44 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. CLYDE who are still bottom of the league, drew 0-0 at home to The Spartans and picked up their 11th blank of the season.

Our Best performing team are RANGERS after they have now scored in all of their last 31 league/cup games. They have a total of 82 goals which gives them an average score of 2.2 goals per game.

Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 18 blank score sheets out of their 42 league/cup games.

Our highest goal scoring teams in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY, BRISTOL ROVERS, COVE RANGERS and CELTIC have all pick up our second highest score with 7 goals each. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen. Cove Rangers won 7-2 at home to Edinburgh City in a league game in Week Twenty-One. Celtic won 7-1 at home to Dundee in the league in Week Thirty-One. 

JOHN FILTNESS celebrates his 8th weekend at the top even though he had none of his teams were in action this week. He’s teams are Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City. James Somerville is still in second place this weekend again he had none of his teams in action this week. James is still 1 goal behind John. James teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough.

At the other end at 110 we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) for his 15th consecutive weekend. John failed to pick up any goals this weekend. John has Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. John remains in 37th place in our “Losers League”. 

Not much happen in the table this week although the top ten had a little change.

A Win for County

In League Two it’s 80 goals for NOTTS COUNTY after they won 3-0 away to Bradford City. It’s County’s first win in 6 league games. 

In the Scottish League One after they had failed to score in their last 4 games, it’s 50 goals for KELTY HEARTS as they win 2-1 at home to Alloa.

Week Thirty-Three

In Week Thirty-Three of the competition we had two winners this weekend to share the Weekend Jackpot of £5. They are our 2016/17 Champion JOHN WOOD with “Lucifer” and STEVE STUBBS both are first time winners, which now brings our winners total to 33. Both picked up the winning score of 11 goals,

John started with us back in the 1997/98 Season on where he finished in 87th place with 209 goals. John became our 4th best Champion in the 2016/17 Season with a total of 344 goals he also picked up 3 weekend wins. John has also been at the other send, finishing bottom with his other teams. With “Ziggy” in the 2011/12 and 2021/22 Seasons and 2019/20 Season with “Lucifer”, and it looks like he could be there again with this seasons “Charlie Farley”. Last season John finished in 80th place with 245 goals. This season with Lucifer, he has been at the top for a total of 3 weeks from Week Fourteen to Week Sixteen. This is his best personal weekend score. Lucifer has also picked up a total of 2 blank weekend score sheets.

Steve started with us before the 1996/97 Season, so starting from there, where he finished in 90th place with 209 goals and one shared weekend win. Last season Steve finished in 83rd place with 242 goals. This season he has been as high as 42nd place in Week Three. Steve has picked up 3 blank weekend score sheets. Just over half of us have managed to pick up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has changed again this week. The highest amount of goals collected this week came from three of our players with 6 goals each. They are TONY KING, ANN WELLARD and MANDY WRIGHT. 

In first place this week we now have TONY KING moves up from two with a total of 97 goals, which means Tony need just 3 goals for the cash. His teams are Chelsea, Peterborough and Rangers. In second place up from three we have ANN WELLARD with a total of 96 goals. Last week’s leader MARK JOHNSTON moves down to third place with a total of 95 goals. In fourth place all with a total of 94 goals we have GEOFF CARTHY, DOUG MORBEY and  JAMES SOMERVILLE all moving down from two. In fifth place we have BAILEY MORAN and PETER PORTER both down from three. Both are on a total of 93 goals. In sixth place down from four we have ANDY EYLES  with a total of 92 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had all but six of our teams in action over the weekend and we had another 15 teams that failed to score any goals. We had a pretty poor weekend for goals. The average score for this weekend went down from six goals from last weekend to 5 goals this weekend. The highest score that we had was 6 goals and they came from the Championship where IPSWICH TOWN picked up their biggest result of the season after they won 6-0 at home to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Ipswich have taken their goals tally up to 92 goals and they have now scored in all of their 14 league/cup games. Wednesday picked up their 18th blank of the season and now two games in a row.

Ipswich became our 52nd voted team when they joined our 3rd season of 1986/87. In their first season they finished with a total of 64 goals. They have only hit 100 goals once and that was last season, 2022/23 with 113 goals. This is their 26th Season with Golden Goals and over the years they have netted a total of 1885 goals which gives them an average score of 72 goals per season. Ipswich are having a fantastic season and they have a total of 4 votes and have only picked up a total of four blank score sheets to date. Here are all of the other weekends results. 

FA CUP Quarter-Finals

We had six of the eight teams that were still in the cup. Out of them 3 have made it through to the semi-finals. They are MANCHESTER CITY who won 2-0 at home against NEWCASTLE and are on a total of 77 goals and have now scored in all of their last 17 league/cup games. Newcastle picked up their 5th blank of the season after a goal run of 13 league/cup games. CHELSEA won 4-2 at home to LEICESTER CITY and they are now on a total of 73 goals while Leicester are on 88 goals and have now scored in all of their last 25 league/cup games. MANCHESTER UNITED won 4-3 at home to LIVERPOOL after extra time and are now on a total of 53 goals and have now scored in all of their last 14 league/cup games. Liverpool are on a total of 92 goals and have now scored in all of their last 19 league/cup games. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

Arsenal are still at the top on goal difference with Liverpool in second place. Manchester City are still in third place with ASTON VILLA in fourth place after they drew 1-1 away to WEST HAM. Villa are on a total of 63 goals while West Ham are on 52. TOTTENHAM are still in fifth place after they lost 3-0 away to FULHAM. Tottenham have picked up their 2nd blank of the season after a goal run of 6 league/cup games. Fulham have taken their goals total to 53 and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 1-1 away to Luton and are on a total of 41 goals after they failed to score in their previous 3 games. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

LEEDS UNITED move to the top of the table on goal difference after they won 2-0 at home against Millwall. Leeds are on a total of 82 goals and have now scored in all of their last 16 league/cup games. Leicester City move down to second place as they played in the cup.

In the Play-offs we still have three of the four teams with IPSWICH TOWN in third place with Southampton are still in fourth place after they had no game this weekend. NORWICH are still in sixth place after they won 3-0 away to STOKE CITY.  Norwich are now on a total of 78 goals and have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. Stoke picked up their 17th blank of the season.

Meanwhile SWANSEA won 2-0 at home against Cardiff and are on a total of 55 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH drew 0-0 at home to Blackburn Rovers and picked up their 10th blank of the season. PLYMOUTH lost 1-0 at home against Preston and picked up their 11th blank of the season and now they have scored just 3 goals in their last 7 games. SUNDERLAND drew 0-0 at home to QPR and picked up their 14th blank of the season. BRISTOL CITY lost 1-0 away to West Brom and they picked up their 16th blank of the season. 

LEAGUE ONE

Our highest team here is still DERBY in second place after they won 1-0 at home to Bolton. Derby are now on a total of 72 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games.

In the Play-offs again we still have two teams and they are PETERBOROUGH in fourth place after they lost 1-0 at home to top of the table Portsmouth. Borough picked up their 4th blank of the season after a goal run of 9 league/cup games. BARNSLEY are still in fifth place after they drew 0-0 at home to Cheltenham. Barnsley after a goal run of 22 league/cup games, picked up their 3rd blank of the season.

Meanwhile CHARLTON drew 1-1 away to Fleetwood and are on a total to 65. BRISTOL ROVERS picked up their 8th blank score sheet and now 3 in a row after they lost 5-0 away to Lincoln City. READING won 4-0 at home against Cambridge Utd and are now on a total of 64 goals and have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games. BLACKPOOL lost 2-0 away to Wycombe and picked u their 14th blank of the season. 

LEAGUE TWO

WREXHAM are our highest team here still in third place after they lost 1-0 at home to Tranmere Rovers and picked up their 9th blank score sheet and now 2 in a row.

In the Play-offs we are back up to having two of the four teams and they are MK DONS in fourth place after they won 3-1 at home to Crewe. The Dons have taken their goals total to 65.

Meanwhile NOTTS COUNTY drew 2-2 away to Accrington and are on a total of 77 goals. AFC WIMBLEDON lost 2-0 at home to Newport and picked up their 14th blank of the season. SUTTON UNITED bottom of the table, won their sixth league game 1-0 away to Forest Green and are on a total of 52 goals. SALFORD CITY won 3-1 at home against Morecambe and are now on a total of 67 goals. 

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the Premiership CELTIC go top of the table after they won 3-1 at home against St Johnston and have taken their goals tally to 82 goals. Rangers move down to second place after their game was cancelled. HIBERNIAN won 3-0 at home to Livingston and have taken their goals total to 51. KILMARNOCK picked up their biggest result of the season after they won 5-2 at home to St Mirren. Kilmarnock are now on a total of 55 goals and have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games. ABERDEEN won 1-0 away to Motherwell and are on a total of 45 goals. ROSS COUNTY won 2-1 at home against Hearts and are on a total of 46 goals. 

In League One top of the table FALKIRK won 4-1 away to Queen of the South. Falkirk are now on a total of 83 goals and have now scored in all of their last 16 league/cup games. KELTY HEARTS picked up their 11th blank of the season after they lost 1-0 at home against COVE RANGERS. Kelty have now failed to score in their last 4 league games. Rangers are on a total of 60 goals. 

In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are still top of the table after they drew 1-1 away to Forfar. Stenhousemuir are on a total of 49 goals. EAST FIFE drew 1-1 away to Peterhead and they are on a total of 42 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. CLYDE who are still bottom of the league, but won their 6th league game 2-1 away to Bonnyrigg Rose. Clyde are on a total of 47 goals.

Salford Drew Their 11th League Game

Peterborough Still in Play-Offs

In the Premier League AFC BOURNEMOUTH won 4-3 at home to Luton after being 3-0 down at half-time. Bournemouth have taken their goals tally up to 55. 

In League One PETERBOROUGH won 3-1 at home against Stevenage and are now on a total of 86 goals and have extended their goal run to 9 league/cup games. 

In the Scottish Premiership ABERDEEN lost 1-0 away to Dundee and picked up their 14th blank of the season. ROSS COUNTY drew 2-2 at home against HIBERNIAN and are on a total of 44 goals while Hibs are on 48 goals.

Derby & Wrexham Still Second

In the Championship MIDDLESBROUGH won 1-0 away to Birmingham City and are on a total of 69 goals. 

In League One DERBY in second place won 2-1 at home to READING and are on a total of 71 goals and have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. Reading picked up their 60th goal of the season. BARNSLEY won 3-2 away to Carlisle and are now on a total of 78 goals and have extended their goal run to 22 league/cup games. BRISTOL ROVERS picked up their 7th blank of the season and now two in a row after they drew 0-0 away to Fleetwood Town. BLACKPOOL won 1-0 away to Northampton and are on a total of 68 goals.

Week Thirty-Two

In Week Thirty-Two of the competition we had our fifth Rollover of the season worth £10 and it was won by a single player. Most of us have managed to pick up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has changed again this week. The highest amount of goals collected this week came from two of our players with 11 goals each. They are our 2014/15 Champion TOBY BICKNELL with Arsenal, Peterborough and Rangers. JAMIE WOOD with Arsenal, Celtic and Peterborough.

In first place this week we still have MARK JOHNSTON now with a total of 92 goals, which means Mark need just 8 goals for the cash. In second place this week we still have GEOFF CARTHY but joining him now, down from one we have .DOUG MORBEY, TONY KING moves up from six and coming back in to the race we have JAMES SOMERVILLE all with a total of 91 goals. In third place we still have  JOHN FILTNESS but joining him now we have ANN WELLARD up from four, PETER PORTER up from five. Coming back in we have BAILEY MORAN. All are on a total of 90 goals. In fourth place we now have up from six ANDY EYLES with a total of 89 goals. In fifth place up from six we have GRANT PHILLIPS with 87 goals. In sixth place we still have ANDREW HAMMOND and coming back in the race we have JAMES BLYTH and JED WEADEN all with a total of 86 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had all but five of our teams in action over the weekend and we had 9 teams that failed to score any goals. We had another good midweek and weekend for goals. The average score for this weekend went up from four goals from last weekend to 6 goals this weekend. The highest score that we had was 5 goals and they came from the Championship where NORWICH won 5-0 at home against bottom of the table Rotherham. Norwich picked up their biggest result of the season, and have now taken their goals tally to 75 and have also now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games.

Norwich became our 33rd voted English team in the 1984/85 Season on where they finished on a total of 69 goals. Their highest end of season total came in the 2009/10 Season with 102 goals. Last season they finished on a total of 61 goals. This is their 19th Season with Golden Goals and over the years they have netted a total of 1349 goals to date. That now gives them an average score of 71 goals per season. This season they have a total of just two votes and they have picked up a total of five blank score sheets. PREMIER LEAGUE

ARSENAL are back at the top on goal difference after they won 2-1 at home against Brentford. Arsenal are on a total of 72 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. LIVERPOOL are in second place after they drew 1-1 at home against MANCHESTER CITY now in third place. Liverpool are on a total of 89 goals and have now scored in all of their last 18 league/cup games. City are now on a total of 75 goals and have now scored in all of their last 18 league/cup games. ASTON VILLA are still in fourth place after they lost 4-0 at home to TOTTENHAM now in fifth place. After a goal run of 7 league/cup games, Villa picked up their 5th blank of the season. Tottenham have taken their goals tally to 61 and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. MANCHESTER UNITED won 2-0 at home against Everton and are on a total of 49 goals and have extended their goal run to 13 league/cup games. AFC BOURNEMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to Sheffield United and are on a total of 51 goals. CRYSTAL PALACE drew 1-1 at home to Luton and are on a total of 37 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. It’s 50 goals for FULHAM after they lost 2-1 away to Wolves. BRIGHTON won 1-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and are on a total of 59 goals after they had failed to score in their previous 2 games. Forest picked up their 11th blank score sheet and now 3 games with out a goal. WEST HAM drew 2-2 at home to Burnley and are on a total of 51 goals.

CHAMPIONSHIP

We still have LEICESTER CITY at the top here after they drew 2-2 away to Hull. Leicester are on a total of 86 goals and have extended their goal run to 24 league/cup games. Leeds United have moved back to second place after their win on Friday night.

In the Play-offs we now have three of the four teams with IPSWICH TOWN now down to third place after they lost 2-1 away to Cardiff. Ipswich are on a total of 86 goals and have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games. SOUTHAMPTON are still in fourth place after they won 4-2 at home to SUNDERLAND. Southampton have taken their goals total to 82 goals while Sunderland are on 49 goals after they had failed to score in their previous 2 games. Norwich have moved up to sixth place.

Meanwhile PLYMOUTH drew 1-1 away to Blackburn Rovers and are on a total of 63 goals after they failed to score in their previous 2 games. STOKE won 2-1 away to Preston and are on a total of 45 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH won 2-0 away to QPR and are on a total of 68 goals. It’s 50 goals for BRISTOL CITY after they won 1-0 at home against SWANSEA CITY. Swansea picked up their 8th blank of the season.

LEAGUE ONE

Our highest team here is still DERBY in second place after they won 3-0 away to BRISTOL ROVERS. Derby are now on a total of 69 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. Rovers picked up their 6th blank of the season.

In the Play-offs again we still have two teams and they are PETERBOROUGH up to fourth place after they won 3-1 away to Burton and are on a total of 83 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. BARNSLEY are down to fifth place after they lost 5-1 at home to Lincoln City. Barnsley have taken their goals tally to 75 and have now scored in all of their last 21 league/cup games.

Meanwhile BLACKPOOL drew 0-0 at home to top of the table Portsmouth and picked up their 13th blank of the season. CHARLTON won 3-2 at home against Carlisle and have taken their goals total to 64. READING lost 2-1 at home against Wycombe and are now on a total of 59 goals and have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games.

LEAGUE TWO

WREXHAM are our highest team here still in third place after they won 3-1 away to Morecambe and have taken their goals tally up to 71.

In the Play-offs we are still down to having just one of the four teams and they are MK DONS in fourth place now. They won 3-1 at home to SALFORD CITY and have taken their goals total to 62. Salford picked up their 62nd goal of the season.

Meanwhile NOTTS COUNTY lost 2-0 at home to AFC WIMBLEDON. County picked up their 7th blank of the season while Wimbledon are on a total of 64 goals. SUTTON UNITED are bottom of the table after they drew 1-1 at home to  Grimsby and are on a total of 51 goals.

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the SCOTTISH CUP quarter-finals, ABERDEEN are through to the semi-finals after they won 3-1 at home to KILMARNOCK. Aberdeen are now on a total of 44 goals while Kilmarnock are on 50 goals and have now scored in all of their last 14 league/cup games. CELTIC won 4-2 at home to Livingston and have taken their goals tally to 79. RANGERS won 2-0 away to 9 man HIBERNIAN and are on a total of 82 goals and have now scored in all of their last 31 league/cup games. Hibs picked up their 9th blank of the season after a goal run of 6 league/cup games.

In League One top of the table FALKIRK won 2-1 away to Stirling. Falkirk are now on a total of 79 goals and have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games. COVE RANGERS lost 4-1 at home against Montrose and are on a total of 59 goals. KELTY HEARTS picked up their 10th blank of the season after they lost 3-0 away to Alloa. Kelty have now failed to score in their last 3 games.

In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are still top of the table after they drew 0-0 at home to The Spartans. After a goal run of 18 league/cup games, Stenhousemuir picked up their 5th blank of the season. EAST FIFE won 3-2 at home to Dumbarton and they have taken their goals total of 41goals. CLYDE who are still bottom of the league, lost 2-1 away to Forfar. Clyde are on a total of 45 goals.

Our Best performing team are now RANGERS after they have now scored in all of their last 31 league/cup games. They have a total of 82 goals which gives them an average score of 2.2 goals per game.

Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 17 blank score sheets out of their 41 league/cup games.

Our highest goal scoring teams in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY, BRISTOL ROVERS, COVE RANGERS and CELTIC have all pick up our second highest score with 7 goals each. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen. Cove Rangers won 7-2 at home to Edinburgh City in a league game in Week Twenty-One. Celtic won 7-1 at home to Dundee in the league in Week Thirty-One. 

JOHN FILTNESS celebrates his 6th weekend at the top as he picks up a total of 5 goals from the week. He’s teams are Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City. James Somerville moves back in to second place this weekend as he picked up a total of 15 goals this week. James is just 2 goals behind John. James teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough. At the other end at 110 we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) for his 13th consecutive weekend. John picked up a single goal this weekend. John has Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. John has remained in 40th place in our “Losers League” once again. 

Other than our leader, the rest of the top ten has changed once again.
