WEEKEND RESULTS
We had our very first full weekend fixture and although we had a few high scores, the overall was a disappointing start to the season. We had 4 teams with no game over the weekend with another eleven of our teams that failed to score any goals. So for our very first weekend the average score was just 3 goals. If your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this weekend.
The highest score over the weekend was 5 goals and they came from League Two where MK DONS won 5-0 at home to Cheltenham Town. With their biggest result to date, the Dons are now on a total of 7 goals.
MK Dons became our 103rd voted English team and they first appeared in the 2007/08 Season, on where they finished on a total of 88 goals. Their highest end of season total came in the 2014/15 Season with 115 goals. This is the only time to date that they have reached 100 goals. Last season they finished with a grand total of 52 goals. This is their 15th season with Golden Goals and over the years they have netted a total of 1024 goals, which gives them an average score of 68 goals per season. This season they have picked up 2 blank score sheets after 4 league/cup games played. They have 3 votes.
Lets get on with the results to see how your teams have performed this weekend.
