Last Night Results

We had a total of twenty-six of our Golden Goals teams in action last night and there were some upsetting results.

In the English Premiership, CRYSTAL PALACE after their comfortable win over West Ham at the weekend lost 1-0 away to Southampton to pick up their 10th blank of the season.

In the Championship, DERBY lost 2-0 away to Brighton to get their 6th blank score sheet and now with two games in a row. READING are now on 46 goals as they drew 1-1 away to Bolton while WOLVES lost 2-1 away to Bournemouth to pick up their 53rd goal of the season. Its 44 goals for CHARLTON as they win 2-1 at home to on form NOTTINGHAM FOREST. That was Forest’s 61st goal. We have not had a big score from CARDIFF lately but they won 3-1 away to ROTHERHAM. Cardiff are now on a total of 51 goals while Rotherham are on 37. FULHAM won 1-0 away to WATFORD to pick up goal number 56 while Rotherham picked up their 37th goal.

In League One, BARNSLEY won 1-0 at home to COVENTRY and are now on 52 goals while Coventry picked up their 11th blank score sheet of the season. SCUNTHORPE drew 2-2 away to Fleetwood and are now on 53 goals. BRISTOL CITY are on 72 goals now as they win 3-1 away to LEYTON ORIENT. Orient picked up goal number 48. MK DONS lost 2-1 at home to Chesterfield to get goal number 82 and back as our best team for the season to date. PRESTON are on 67 goals as they drew 2-2 at home to DONCASTER. Doncaster are now on 53 goals. PETERBOROUGH won 2-1 away to SHEFFIELD UNITED and are now on a total of 44 goals while United are on 66.

In League Two, BURY won 1-0 at home to LUTON and that was their 52nd goal of the season while Luton picked up their 9th blank of the season. PORTSMOUTH lost 1-0 away to Northampton and picked up their 15th blank score sheet and they have failed to score in their last two games now. STEVENAGE picked up goal number 50 as they win 1-0 at home to Plymouth.

We had two of our five Scottish teams in action and they were DUNFERMLINE, they drew 1-1 away to Brechin to pick up goal number 50 while STENHOUSEMUIR won 1-0 at home to Stanraer to take their goals total to 35.
