Newcastle Draw

In the English Championship, NEWCASTLE have remained top here as they drew 0-0 away to Reading. That was Newcastle’s seventh blank score sheet of the season. BRIGHTON are now just three points behind Newcastle as they win 2-0 away to Rotherham and that takes their goals total to 72. It’s 50 goals for CARDIFF as they drew 1-1 away to Blackburn.  NORWICH drew 1-1 away to Bristol City to give them a total of 73 goals while DERBY are on 46 goals as they drew 1-1 at home to PRESTON who are now on 55 goals. LEEDS UNITED drew 1-1 away to Fulham to pick up goal number 59. ASTON VILLA picked up their thirteenth blank of the season as they lost 1-0 away to Huddersfield. WOLVES drew 0-0 away to Ipswich and that was their thirteenth blank of the season and now just two goals in their last six games. BRENTFORD won 3-2 away to Nottingham Forest and they are now on a total of 59 goals. QUEENS PARK RANGERS are on 47 goals as they win 2-1 at home against Barnsley. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY drew 1-1 at home to Burton to pick up goal number 49.

In League One top of the table SHEFFIELD UNITED won 3-2 away to Oxford and they are now on a total of 76 goals while it’s 50 goals for CHARLTON as they win 2-1 at home to SCUNTHORPE who are now on a total of 65 goals. WALSALL won 1-0 at home to Chesterfield and that was their 44th goal of the season.

In League Two PLYMOUTH in second place lost 3-0 at home to Blackpool and that is their eleventh blank of the season. PORTSMOUTH have moved up to third place as they win 2-0 away to Crawley. Portsmouth are now on a total of 54 goals.
