Brighton Are Back On Top

We had twenty of our Golden Goals in action with some good results.
In the English Premiership MANCHESTER UNITED had a last minute penalty injury time to draw 1-1 at home to EVERTON. The goal took United’s goal tally to 67 while Everton hit goal number 58. STOKE picked up their tenth blank of the season as they lost 1-0 away to Burnley. Stoke have now failed to score in their last two games and now just three goals in their last six games. LEICESTER CITY are still winning as they win 2-0 at home to Sunderland to give them a total of 46 goals.
In the Championship, BRIGHTON are back on top of the table as they win 3-1 at home to Birmingham. Brighton are now on a total of 79 goals. ASTON VILLA won 1-0 at home to QUEENS PARK RANGERS and they are now on 43 goals while Rangers picked up their thirteenth blank score sheet and now two in a row. After a goal run of nine games CARDIFF picked up their thirteenth blank as they drew 0-0 away to Barnsley. BRENTFORD are on 69 goals as they win 2-0 at home to LEEDS UNITED. Leeds picked up their twelfth blank score sheet and now just two goals in their last four games. DERBY picked up their highest score of the season as they beat FULHAM 4-2 at home. Derby are now on a total of 53 goals. PRESTON picked up the highest score of the night and their highest score of the season as they win 5-0 at home to Bristol City. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY won 2-0 away to Rotherham and they are now on 52 goals. WOLVES are on 58 goals as they win 1-0 at home to Nottingham Forest.
In League One, CHARLTON picked up their second consecutive blank score sheet after they lost 2-0 at home to MK DONS. Charlton have now had a total of fourteen blank score sheets and the Dons are now on 64. PORT VALE also picked up their fourteenth blank of the season as they lost 3-0 away to Rochdale. MILLWALL are now on a total of 74 goals as they win 2-1 away to Shrewsbury. SOUTHEND lost 1-0 at home to Bolton to pick up their eleventh blank of the season.

Just one result for the Scottish league’s and that was from the Premiership where second place ABERDEEN won 1-0 at home to Inverness CT to take their goals tally to 72.
