Week Thirty-Nine

In Week Thirty-Nine of the competition and we had our very last weekend prize money of £6 and it went to RICKY MILES who has become our 43rd winner of the season. Ricky won on a score of 14 goals which is his personal best. 
Ricky came back to Golden Goals after a break and although he has two of our top scoring teams, it’s Crystal palace that has let him down. The highest that he has been all season is 55th place and that was in week twenty-eight. With six blank score sheets at the weekends, Ricky has now picked up a total of 30 goals over the last three weeks. His teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
JAMES BLYTH is now out in front as he picks up a single goal from Blackburn and is now on a total of 110 goals. I am (Steve Reeve), now in second place still with my total of 109 goals. In third place this week on a total of 105 goals we have JUNE TIGHE. In fourth place on 100 goals we have CHRIS SETFORD.  STEPHEN CADWELL is now in fifth place with 99 goals.  

WEEKEND RESULTS
We had another crazy weekend with some of our teams picking up their highest score of the season. We had four of our teams without a game over the weekend with another nineteen teams that failed to score any goals. With our top voted teams picking up the goals this weekend, the average score shot back up to seven goals. The highest score that we had came from the English League Two where COVENTRY picked up their highest score of the season by beating Cheltenham 6-1 away. The six goals have taken their goals tally up to 74 goals and they have now scored in all of their last fifteen games.Coventry are our 66^th voted English team and they started with Golden Goals back in the 1987/88 Season where they finished on a total of 52 goals. We then had a wait till the 2012/13 Season before they scored their highest score with 76. Their last appearance was in our 2014/15 Season where they finished on a score of 51 goals. Coventry are in their tenth season with us and over the years they have scored a total of 606 goals which gives them an average score of 60 goals per season to date. They have just one vote this season and they have picked up a total of twelve blank score sheets over the season so far. 

PREMIERSHIP 
Champions MANCHESTER CITY won 4-1 away to WEST HAM and that now that now gives them a total of 119 goals. West Ham picked up another single goal to give them a total of 52 goals.MANCHESTER UNITED are still in second place and they also won 2-1 at home to ARSENAL. United are now on 86 goals to Arsenal’s 75.LIVERPOOL are still in third place after they drew 0-0 at home to Stoke to get their seventh blank score sheet of the season. With Tottenham still in fourth place, CHELSEA remain in fifth place after they won 1-0 away to Swansea. Chelsea are now on 82 goals. CRYSTAL PALACE have moved up to eleventh place after they picked up their highest score of the season by winning 5-0 at home to LEICESTER CITY.  Palace are now on a total of 46 goals while Leicester picked up their eighth blank and now two in a row. EVERTON won 2-0 away to Huddersfield and they take their goals tally up to 47. WEST BROM won 1-0 away to NEWCASTLE and that is their 40^th goal of the season while Newcastle picked up their fourteenth blank and also two in a row this week. BOURNEMOUTH lost 2-1 away to Southampton and they are now on 51 goals after a two game dry spell. 

CHAMPIONSHIP 
Champions WOLVES drew 0-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday to pick up their ninth blank of the season. CARDIFF remained in second place after they won 2-0 away to HULL. Cardiff are now on 76 goals and still ten points behind Wolves. Hull picked up their fifteenth blank of the season. 
In the play-off zone we still have three teams out of the four. They are  Fulham in third place still with ASTON VILLA still in fourth place after they drew 1-1 at home to Derby. Villa are now on 79 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH are still in fifth place after they won 2-0 at home to Millwall. Brough are now on a total of 73 goals. 
Meanwhile BRENTFORD lost 2-0 away to Barnsley and that is their thirteenth blank of the season. BURTON ALBION won 2-0 at home to BOLTON and that takes them up to 42 goals while Bolton picked up their twentieth blank score sheet and now two in a row. It’s 60 goals for NORWICH after they won 2-1 at home to LEEDS UNITED who are now on 70 goals.QUEENS PARK RANGERS are also on 60 goals as they win 3-1 at home against BIRMINGHAM. Birmingham take their goals tally to 44. It’s been a long while since IPSWICH had a big win as they win 4-0 away to READING. Ipswich are now on 58 goals while Reading picked up their ninetieth blank and now two in a row. SHEFFIELD UNITED picked up their fifteenth blank of the season after they lost 1-0 at home to Preston. 

LEAGUE ONE 
WIGAN may be promoted but they drew 1-1 at home to AFC Wimbledon and that is their 105^th goal of the season.BLACKBURN in second place will also join them as they lost 1-0 away to CHARLTON. Blackburn picked up their eighth blank while Charlton hit goal number 65. 
In the play-off zone we still have just two of the four teams. They are Charlton now in fifth place with SCUNTHORPE in sixth place after they won 2-0 away to MK DONS. Scunthorpe are now on 66 goals while the Dons picked up their seventeenth blank and now three in a row which now means that they are relegated. 
Meanwhile PLYMOUTH won 2-1 at home to Rotherham and they are now on a total of 58 goals while SOUTHEND who are having a great goal run at the moment, won 2-0 away to BRADFORD. With nine goals in their last three games, Southend are now on 58 goals. Bradford picked up their fifteenth blank of the season. PORTSMOUTH lost 1-0 away to Bury and that is their thirteenth blank and now just one goal in their last four games. DONCASTER have now had a total of eighteen blank score sheets and now three in a row as they drew 0-0 away to Oldham. PETERBOROUGH are now on 85 goals as they win 2-0 at home to FLEETWOOD TOWN. Fleetwood have now had twelve blank score sheets and now two in a row. 

LEAGUE TWO 
LUTON are still in second place behind Accrington Stanley but they have been promoted as they win 3-1 at home to FOREST GREEN. Luton are now on a total of 101 goals while Green are on 59. 
We still have three teams in the play-off zone and they are EXETER now in fourth place as they lost 3-1 away to Stevenage.  Exeter are now on 72 goals. In sixth place we now have Coventry with LINCOLN CITY behind them in seventh place after they lost 1-0 to Leaders Accrington. Lincoln have now had a total of fifteen blank score sheets.  
Meanwhile MANSFIELD won 3-2 away to Yeovil and they are now on 73 goals. COLCHESTER picked up their fourteenth blank as they drew 0-0 at home against Swindon. PORT VALE are now on 55 goals as they lost 2-1 at home to Carlsile  

SCOTTISH RESULTS 
In the Scottish Premiership, CELTIC beat rivals RANGERS 5-0 at home to be crowned Champions for the seventh time in a row. Celtic are now on a total of 100 goals and they have now scored nine goals in their last two games against Rangers. Rangers picked up their eighth blank of the season and have dropped down to their place behind Aberdeen who won during the week. 
In the Championship FALKIRK won 1-0 at home to St Mirren and they are now on a total of 64 goals. In League One RAITH ROVERS have moved back down to second place in the league after they drew 0-0 at home to Alloa. Rovers are now on a total of seven blank score sheets. In League Two, PETERHEAD are still in second place after they win 2-1 at home against Edinburgh City. Peterhead are now on a total of 100 goals. ELGIN CITY drew 1-1 away to Montrose and they are now on 59 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR are in fourth place after they drew 1-1 away to Stirling. That is their 61st goal of the season.

The team with the best run of goals is currently TOTTENHAM who have scored in all of their last twenty-nine games. 

BURTON ALBION have picked up the most number of  blank score sheets this season with a total of twenty-two out of a total of forty-nine games played.  

Our highest goal scoring team in our 35^th Season is PETERHEAD from the Scottish League Two. They picked up our highest score in week eleven as they won 9-0 at home to non-league team Colville Park in the WILLIAM HILL CUP Second Round. 

CHRIS BOLBERY is now celebrating his third week at the top as he picks up a total of eleven goals once again for the week.  His combination is Celtic, Manchester City and Wigan. Chris has moved up three places in our Champions League to eighth place. Chris has beaten Janice Conway on 318 goals in the 2000/01 Season and Alice Stubbs score also of 318 goals in the 2012/13 Season. He is now above Tony Patman’s score of 322 goals in our 1999/00 Season. Chris is now four goals clear of our 2013/14 Champion Paul Davey who picked up a total of twelve goals all coming from the weekend.

At the other end at number 149 we still have COLIN PINDER for his twenty-seventh weekend. Colin picked up a total of ten goals from the week. Colin has the combination of Colchester, Crystal Palace and Southend and more good news for him this week as he moves up three places in the table. Colin has beaten Richard LLoyds score of 154 in the 1993/94 Season, Ian Etheridge score of 156 in the 1999/00 Season and Freda Hilliersscore of 156 goals in the 1987/88 Season. This weekend Colin is at number thirty-one in the Losers League.

Fulham Still in the Frame

In the English Championship, FULHAM keep their promotion alive as they win 2-1 at home to SUNDERLAND. Fulham have taken their goals tally to 80 goals while Sunderland hit goal number 52.

In the Scottish Premiership, Aberdeen have moved back into second place after they won 2-0 at home against Hearts. Aberdeen are now on a total of 65 goals.

Blackburn After Wigan's Title

In the English Championship, CARDIFF lost 3-1 away to Derby which now gives them a total of 74 goals.

In League One, BLACKBURN are now just one point behind leaders Wigan after they won 1-0 away to DONCASTER. Blackburn are now on a total of 90 goals while Doncaster picked up their seventeenth blank of the season and now two in a row. WIGAN drew 1-1 away to Bristol Rovers and they are now on a total of 104 goals. BRADFORD moved up to tenth place after they won 2-0 at home to MK DONS. Bradford take taken their goals total to 62 while the Dons picked up their sixteenth blank and now two in a row. SOUTHEND have now scored seven goals in their last two games as they win 3-0 away to Oldham. Southend are now on a total of 56 goals. After a two game dry spell, PLYMOUTH picked up goal number 56 after they drew 1-1 away to Rochdale. PETERBOROUGH lost 3-1 away to Shrewsbury and they are now on 83 goals.

In League Two, LINCOLN CITY won 4-2 away to COVENTRY CITY and they are now on a total of 64 goals while Coventry are on 68. FOREST GREEN picked up their fifteenth blank score sheet after they drew 0-0 away to Yeovil.

Just one Scottish result from their League Two where STENHOUSEMUIR after a tow game dry spell, drew 2-2 away to Berwick and that now gives them a total of 60 goals.

Everton Move Up

In the English Premiership, EVERTON have moved up to eighth place in the league after they beat NEWCASTLE 1-0 at home. The single goal takes Everton's goal tally up to 45 while Newcastle picked up their thirteenth blank of the season.

Week Thirty-Eight

In Week Thirty-Eight of the competition and we had a total of four winners who all won on a score of 11 goals to share the Rollover of £12. One of our four winners have won for the first time this season taking our winners total to 42.

Our winners are DEREK CORMACK, AMANDA MORRISON, ROBERT NETTING and BOB SOPER.

Robert Netting is our 42^nd winner of the season and he has been with Golden Goals for quite a while now. Last season Rob finished in the winning frame in 30^th place on a total of 308 goals. With two weekend wins, Rob won over £16 in cash.

This season he has been as high as 27^th place in Week Twenty-Nine. Rob has also had a total of six blank score sheet to date.

Derek has picked up his second win of the season after he won back in Week thirty-six winning a share in the big Rollover.

Amanda is celebrating her third win of the season and it is her highest score to date. She last won back in Week Twenty-Three. Amanda has still scored in every week so far.

Bob has now had he’s fifth win of the season and he also won some cash in Week Thirty-Six which was his last amount of cash. I think that this is a record for Bob for the most number of weekend wins in a season.

We have two players that are leading the pack this week and they are JAMES BLYTH and ME (Steve Reeve), we are now both on a total of 109 goals. In second place this week on a total of 102 goals we have up from four JUNE TIGHE. In joint third place all on 98 goals we have TOM BAXTER, STEPHEN CADWELL up from five and CHRIS SETFORD. WEEKEND RESULTS

What a crazy weekend we had for goals over the weekend. Although we had eight of our teams without a game over the weekend,  the average score was still very good at 5 goals even with twelve of our teams failing to score any goals.

The highest score that we had came from three of our teams with five goals each.

FA CUP Semi-Finals

We had three of the four teams that are still left in this competition and I am glad to say that two of them have made it through to the final. First team through is MANCHESTER UNITED who went a goal down in the first eleven minutes against TOTTENHAM but came back to win the game 2-1. United are now on a total of 84 goals while Tottenham still on that goal run are now on a total of 87. The other team through are CHELSEA after they won 2-0 against Southampton. Chelsea take their goals tally to 81. So the final is set between Chelsea with 26 votes against Manchester United with 22 votes on the 19^th May.

PREMIERSHIP

Champions MANCHESTER CITY won 5-0 at home to Swansea and that now takes their goals tally up to 115. Manchester United are still in second place with LIVERPOOL still in third place after they drew 2-2 away to bottom of the table WEST BROM. Liverpool have taken their goals total to 84 while West Brom are now on a total of 39. With Tottenham in fourth place and Chelsea in fifth, ARSENAL are still in sixth place after their 4-1 home win against WEST HAM. Arsenal are now on a total of 74 goals while West Ham picked up goal number 51. CRYSTAL PALACE picked up their fourteenth blank of the season as they drew 0-0 away to Watford.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Norwich have now had a total of thirteen blank score sheets and now two in a row. READING picked up their eighteenth as they lost 3-0 away to Sheffield Wednesday. WIGAN are now Champions after they won 4-0 away to FLEETWOOD TOWN. We hear at Golden Goals would like to congratulate Wigan on being the second team this season to score over 100 goals with a total of 103. Fleetwood picked up their eleventh blank of the season. Blackburn are in second place.

In the play-off zone we have two of the four teams. They are CHARLTON now in fifth place after they won 1-0 away to PORTSMOUTH. Charlton are now on a total of 64 goals while Portsmouth picked up their twelfth blank of the season. SCUNTHORPE have dropped down to sixth place after they won 1-0 at home to Walsall. Scunthorpe are now on 64 goals.

Meanwhile DONCASTER lost 1-0 at home to Oxford United and that is their sixteenth blank score sheet to date. PLYMOUTH have had eleven blank score sheets after they lost 2-0 away to Northampton. Plymouth have now failed to score in their last two games. It’s 60 goals for BRADFORD after they drew 1-1 away to Rochdale. SOUTHEND after a two game dry spell, picked up another four goals as they win 4-0 at home to MK DONS. Southend are now on a total of 53 goals while MK Dons, second from bottom, picked up their fifteenth blank score sheet.

LUTON are still in second place behind Accrington Stanley and they are promoted with them after they drew 1-1 away to Carlisle. Luton are now on a total of 98 goals.

Meanwhile FOREST GREEN are now on a total of 58 goals after they won 4-1 at home to bottom of the table Chesterfield. PORT VALE are on 54 goals after they drew 1-1 away to MANSFIELD. Mansfield are now on 70 goals.  

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the Scottish Premiership,  CELTIC lost their third league game after they lost 2-1 away to Hibernian. Celtic are now on a total of 95 goals.  RANGERS have moved back into second place after they won 2-1 at home to Hearts. Rangers are now on 91 goals. ABERDEEN are down to third place on goal difference after they won 2-0 away to Kilmarnock. Aberdeen are now on 63 goals after a two game dry spell.

In the Championship FALKIRK won 5-2 away to Dumbarton and they are now on a total of 63 goals. In League One RAITH ROVERS have moved back to the top of the league as they win 3-0 away to Stranraer. Rovers are now on a total of 77 goals.

In League Two, PETERHEAD are still in second place after they win 1-0 away to ELGIN CITY. They are now on 98 goals while Elgin picked up their fourteenth blank of the season. STENHOUSEMUIR lost 2-0 at home to Montrose and that is their ninth blank and now two in a row.

This weekend Colin has moved up the Losers League to thirty-fourth place by jumping over our lowest score of 146 goals by our pub team R U Shaw in our 1995/96 Season.

Can Fulham Get Automatic Promotion?

In the Championship, although FULHAM have moved up to second place after they beat on form Millwall 3-0 away, Fulham are still ten points behind leaders Wolves. Fulham have now taken their goals tally up to 78 goals.

In League Two, COVENTRY won 3-1 at home to Stevenage and they have moved up to sixth place with a total of 66 goals.

Chelsea Hold on to Fifth Place

In the English Premiership, CHELSEA have remained in fifth place as they win 2-1 away to Burnley. Chelsea have taken their goals total up to 79. LEICESTER CITY drew 0-0 at home to Southampton and that is their seventh blank score sheet of the season.

In the Championship, BLACKBURN had to come back from being a goal down at half time against PETERBOROUGH to win 3-1. Blackburn hold on to second place in the league with a total of 89 goals. Borough are now on a total of 82 goals.

A Win for United

In the English Premiership, MANCHESTER UNITED have made sure that they will finish is second place in the league after they won 2-0 away to BOURNEMOUTH. United are now on a total of 82 goals while Bournemouth picked up their thirteenth blank score sheet of the season and now two in a row. United are still thirteen points behind Champions Manchester City and just four points in front of Liverpool in third place.

Tottenham Still Behind Liverpool

In the English Premiership, TOTTENHAM have remained in fourth place after they drew 1-1 away to Brighton to pick up their 86^th goal of the season and the goal still goes on.

In League One, WIGAN have moved three points clear of Blackburn in second place as they win 1-0 at home against Oxford United. Wigan could be our next team to hit 100 goals this season as they are now on a total of 99. CHARLTON have moved in to the play-offs as they win 2-0 away to Shrewsbury and they after a two game dry spell for goals are now on 63. After three game with no goals, BRADFORD are now on 59 goals as they win 3-1 at home to PORTSMOUTH who are now on 56 goals. It’s 66 goals for DONCASTER as they drew 3-3 at home to Bury.

In League Two, EXETER have moved up to fourth place after their 2-1 home win against Chesterfield and that takes their goals tally up to 69. LINCOLN CITY drew 0-0 at home to Wycombe to pick up their fourteenth blank score sheet and now two in a row, but they have moved up to sixth place in the play-offs.

In the Scottish Championship, FALKIRK after a tow game dry spell, are now on 58 goals as they win 2-1 away to St Mirren. In League Two, STENHOUSEMUIR have picked up their eighth blank of the season as they drew 0-0 away to Berwick.

West Ham Grab a Point

In the English Premiership, WEST HAM had three goals disallowed against Stoke during their 1-1 draw at home, with Stoke scoring first in the second half. West Ham have now scored 50 goals this season so far.

Week Thirty-Seven

In Week Thirty-Seven of the competition and I can not believe how many Rollover’s that we have had this season as we are set up for another one next weekend. This weekend we had five players that picked up the highest score of ten goals each. They were BRADLEY CLARK, PAUL DAVEY, DANIEL GOODSON, RICKY MILES and KELLIE STRATTON. So once again we will have a Rollover worth £12 next weekend.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Well it looks like the race to beat the record number of midweek goals scored by Daryl Nicholls from last season with 136 goals is not going to happen now..

STEVE REEVE is now on a total of 107 goals with JAMES BLYTH behind me in second place on a total of 106 goals. In third place on 98 goals we have TOM BAXTER this week. In fourth place on 96 is JUNE TIGHE while in fifth place on 95 goals is STEPHEN CADWELL.

We had a fairly good weekend for goals this week with all but four of our teams in action. Out of the rest, fifteen failed to score any goals. So this weekends average score remained at 5 goals.

The highest score that we had came from the Scottish WILLIAM HILL CUP Semi-Final where CELTIC beat their rivals RANGERS 4-0. Celtic who are looking to get their eighth consecutive season of netting 100 or more goals in a season, take this seasons total to 94. Rangers picked up their seventh blank score sheet of the season.

Celtic are just one of our four teams that have been all the way through our 35 Seasons and they were our second voted Scottish team in our first season, after Aberdeen, where they finished on a total of 116 goals. Their highest score came last season with 134 goals. Over the years they have netted a total of 3397 goals which gives them an average score of 97 goals per season. They have a total of 113 votes this season and they have picked up a total of six blank score sheets so far.

PREMIERSHIP

Congratulations to MANCHESTER CITY who are now officially League Champions after they beat TOTTENHAM 3-1 away. Although we have been saying this since Christmas, City are now on a total of 110 goals while Tottenham picked up their 85^th goal of the season and they remain in fourth place this week. The shock of the week is where second place MANCHESTER UNITED lost 1-0 at home to bottom of the table WEST BROM. As United give City the title, they have now had a total of six blank score sheets.West Brom picked up goal number 37. In third place is still LIVERPOOL after they won 3-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH. Liverpool are now on a total of 82 goals while Bournemouth picked up their twelfth blank of the season. CHELSEA are still in fifth place as they win 3-2 away to Southampton. Chelsea have taken their goals tally up to 77 goals. ARSENAL are still in sixth place after they lost 2-1 away to NEWCASTLE after going a goal up. Arsenal have now scored 70 goals. LEICESTER CITY lost 2-1 away to Burnley and they are now on 68 goals while CRYSTAL PALACE are now on 41 goals as they win 3-2 at home to Brighton. EVERTON drew 1-1 away to Swansea and they are now on 44 goals.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to WOLVES who are now League Champions after they won 2-0 at home to BIRMINGHAM. Wolves who also won in midweek are now on a total of 83 goals. Birmingham have picked up their twelfth blank of the season. CARDIFF remained in second place after they won 2-0 away to NORWICH. Cardiff after a two game dry spell for goals, are now on 71. Norwich picked up their twelfth blank of the season.

In the play-off zone we still have three teams out of the four. They are  FULHAM in third place as they drew 1-1 at home to BRENTFORD. As Fulham picked up goal number 75, Brentford are on 67 goals. Aston Villa are still in fourth place with MIDDLESBROUGH in fifth place after they won 2-1 at home to Bristol City. Brough are now on a total of 69 goals.

Meanwhile after a three game dry spell, BOLTON take their goals tally up to 42 as they drew 2-2 away to Barnsley. BURTON ALBION are now on 38 goals as they win 3-1 at home to Derby. After picking up nine goals in their last two games, HULL lost 1-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday to get their fourteenth blank of the season. IPSWICH are on 54 goals as they lost 2-1 away to Nottingham Forest after going a goal up in the first half. QUEENS PARK RANGERS lost 2-1 away to Preston and that is their 56^th goal. READING drew 2-2 at home to SUNDERLAND and that takes them up to 57 goals to Sunderlands 50. SHEFFIELD UNITED drew 1-1 at home to Millwall and they are now on 64 goals.

LEAGUE ONE

WIGAN are back on top on goal difference with Blackburn after they drew 0-0 at home to Rotherham. Wigan have picked up their eighth blank of the season. BLACKBURN drew 1-1 away to Bristol Rovers to drop down to second place and they are now on a total of 86 goals.

In the play-off zone we have two of the four teams. They are SCUNTHORPE in fifth place after they won 1-0 away to CHARLTON. Scunthorpe are now on 63 goals while Charlton picked up their second blank in a week and twelve over the season. PLYMOUTH have dropped down to sixth place after they drew 0-0 at home to PORTSMOUTH. Plymouth have now picked up ten blank score sheets to Portsmouths eleven.

Meanwhile FLEETWOOD lost 2-1 away to Blackpool but they are now on a total of 63 goals. DONCASTER are on 63 as they win 2-1 away to MK DONS.  Mk Dons hit goal number 53. SOUTHEND lost 2-0 away to Oxford United and that is their sixteenth blank of the season and now two in a row. PETERBOROUGH picked up their eighth blank after a goal run of twelve games as they lost 1-0 at home to Rochdale.

LEAGUE TWO

LUTON are still in second place behind Accrington Stanley as they win 3-1 at home to Crewe. Luton are now on a total of 97 goals.

We still have three teams in the play-off zone and they are EXETER in fifth place as they drew 1-1 away to leaders Accrington. Exeter are now on 67 goals. In sixth place we have COVENTRY who won 2-1 away to Crawley. Coventry are now on a total of 63 goals. MANSFIELD have moved up to seventh place after they win 1-0 away to Chesterfield and they are now on 69 goals.

Meanwhile FOREST GREEN won 1-0 away to Cheltenham and they are now on a total of 54 goals. COLCHESTER lost 3-1 at home against Notts County and they are now on 53 goals. PORT VALE are on 53 as they win 1-0 at home to LINCOLN CITY. Lincoln have now had a total of thirteen blank score sheets.  

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the Scottish WILLIAM HILL CUP Semi-Finals, we already know that Celtic are through to the finals and they will be our only team playing in that final as ABERDEEN lost 3-0 to Motherwell to pick up their thirteenth blank and now two games in a row with no goals.

In the Championship FALKIRK lost 1-0 away to Dundee United and that is their thirteenth blank and also two in a row now. In League One RAITH ROVERS are still in second place in the league as they win 2-0 at home to Queens Park and they are now on a total of 74 goals. In League Two, PETERHEAD have dropped down to second place after they win 1-0 at home to Cowdenbeath. They are now on 97 goals and they have now scored in all of their last eleven games. ELGIN CITY drew 1-1 at home to Edinburgh City and that is their 58^th goal of the season.  STENHOUSEMUIR won 3-2 at home to Annan and they take their goals tally up to 58 goals.

The team with the best run of goals is currently TOTTENHAM who have scored in all of their last twenty-seven games.

BURTON ALBION have picked up the most number of  blank score sheets this season with a total of twenty-two out of a total of forty-seven games played.

Our highest goal scoring team in our 35^th Season is PETERHEAD from the Scottish League Two. They picked up our highest score in week eleven as they won 9-0 at home to non-league team Colville Park in the WILLIAM HILL CUP Second Round.  

We have now had a total of seven players to hit the number one spot this season as CHRIS BOLBERY moves in as he picks up a total of eleven goals for the week from his combination of Celtic, Manchester City and Wigan. After a run of seven weeks and seventeen over the season, Chris Boom has moved down to joint second place with our 2013/14 Champion Paul Davey. Although Chris Bolbery is just one goal in front, can he hold on to that lead? With his total of 302 goals, Chris has moved up our Champions League to twenty-third place.

At the other end at number 149 we still have COLIN PINDER for his twenty-fifth weekend. Colin picked up a total of four goals all coming from the weekend. Colin has the combination of Colchester, Crystal Palace and Southend and still has the lowest score on record, but that might change next week.
