Easter Monday Results


We have not done too badly over the Easter period for goals and Easter Monday all of our twenty-five teams in action managed to pick up goals.
In the English Championship, CARDIFF got a point nearer to Wolves as they get a last minute goal in their 1-1 draw against SHEFFIELD UNITED away. Cardiff are now on a total of 69 goals while Sheffield United are now on 59. BRENTFORD are on 64 as they win 1-0 away to Bristol City. BURTON ALBION drew 1-1 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH and they are now on 34 while Brough are on 64. After failing to score in their last four games, IPSWICH drew 2-2 at home tom Millwall and they are now on a total of 52 goals. QUEENS PARK RANGERS are now on a total of 51 goals after they scored their highest of the season by winning 4-1 at home to NORWICH who are now on 54 goals. Another goal for SUNDERLAND as they drew 1-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday, to take their goals tally up to 59.

In League One, WIGAN lost 2-1 away to PORTSMOUTH to pick up goal number 89 while Portsmouth are now on 52. CHARLTON are starting to pick up the goals as they now win 3-1 at home to Rotherham. Charlton have scored nine goals in their last three games and they are now on 60 goals. FLEETWOOD TOWN are now on 59 goals as they win 2-0 at home to Bristol Rovers. BLACKBURN won 2-1 away to MK DONS and they are now on 84 goals to the Dons 51. It’s 80 goals for PETERBOROUGH as they win 2-0 at home to Northampton. We have to right back to Week Eight for a big score from SOUTHEND as they win 4-0 at home to Gillingham.

In League Two, LINCOLN CITY won 1-0 away to Carlisle to pick up goal number 58. COVENTRY are now on 60 goals but they got hit 6-2 at home by Yeovil. PORT VALE are on 51 goals as they drew 2-2 away to Crewe. EXETER won 2-1 at home to Cheltenham and they are now on a total of 63 goals. FOREST GREEN lost 2-1 at home to COLCHESTER and that is their 53rd goal of the season to Colchester’s 52. LUTON are now on 91 goals as they win 2-1 at home to MANSFIELD who are now on 64 goals.
