Cup and League Results

In the Carabao Cup fourth round, LEICESTER CITY are through to the next round after they drew 0-0 against Southampton after extra time. City went on to win 6-5 on penalties. That is Leicester’s third blank score sheet of the season and now just two goals in their last four games.

In the Scottish Betfred/League Cup third round replay, PETERHEAD are out after they lost 3-0 at home to Morton. Peterhead picked up their seventh blank score sheet.

In the English Championship, BRENTFORD lost 3-2 at home to Sheffield United but they have taken their goals total up to 36 goals. ROCHDALE lost 4-2 away to Oxford Utd and they have taken their goals tally up to 32 goals. PETERBOROUGH won 1-0 at home against AFC Wimbledon and that is their 39^th goal of the season. PORTSMOUTH won 2-0 at home to Walsall and they are now on 37 goals. SHREWSBURY are still putting them goals in as they win 2-0 at home to PLYMOUTH to take their goals total to 28 goals while Plymouth picked up blank number seven. SOUTHEND won 2-0 at home to SCUNTHORPE and they are now on a total of 34 goals as Scunthorpe picked up their sixth blank of the season. SUNDERLAND have extended their goal run as they win 4-2 at home to BARNSLEY. Sunderland are now on a goals tally of 41 goals while Barnsley are on 39.

In League Two, EXETER picked up their sixth blank score sheet of the season after they lost 1-0 at home to Macclesfield. MK DONS have now scored in all of their last sixteen games as they win 2-0 at home against Morecombe, The Dons are now on a total of 34 goals. NOTTS COUNTY drew 1-1 at home to Carlisle and they are now on 25 goals. LINCOLN CITY are now on 42 goals as they drew 1-1 away to OLDHAM who are now on a total of 28 goals. SWINDON won 3-2 at home to Stevenage and they are now on 25 goals.
