Week Twenty-Six

In Week Twenty-Six of the competition we had our twenty-seventh winner of the season and it goes to IAN SMITH. Ian won with a score of 12 goals and he picks up the full £5 Weekend Cash Prize Money. Ian started with us back in the 2014/15 Season where he finished in 77th place with a total of 242 goals. Last season Ian finished in 47th place with a total of 258 goals. This season Ian has been as high as fourteenth place and that was back in Week Five. He has picked up a total of three blank score sheets to date and his best team is Rangers. Ian’s winning teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Just over half of us managed to pick up some midweek goals this week and we still have two players that are away in front from the rest of the pack. We can add another four players to the list who are at the half way mark. We now have forty-nine players that are nearer to that 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot this week. We still have LYANNA GRIMWOOD in the lead with a total of 86 goals. Lyanna teams are Fulham. Manchester City and Sunderland. In second place we still have BOB SOPER with a total of 81 goals. In third place LOUIE HARRINGTON remains there with a total of 78 goals. In fourth place with 72 goals we still have PETER PORTER. In fifth place we now have COLIN WEBB on a total of 70 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had all but seventeen of our teams in action this weekend, Out of the ones that did play thirteen failed to score any goals. Because of that the weekend average score went down from four goals last weekend to 3 goals this weekend. The good news is that it was not Covid that cancelled a few of the games this weekend it was the weather. 

The highest score came from OXFORD UNITED with a total of seven goals. They picked up their highest result of the season as they win 7-2 away to Gillingham. Oxford have taken their goals tally to 56 goals. Oxford United became our 34th voted English team when they started in our second season of 1984/85. In that season they finished on a score of 98 goals which is their highest to date.  They are in their 9th Season with Golden Goals and last season they finished on a score of 83 goals. Over the years they have scored a total of 657 goals which gives them an average score of 73 goals per season to date. This season they have had a total of seven blank score sheets and a total of seven votes. 

CHAMPIONSHIP 

FULHAM are still top here after they drew 1-1 at home against Blackpool. Fulham are on a total of 77 goals and have now scored in all of their last six games. 

In the Play-Offs we now have two teams and they are BOURNEMOUTH who are now down to third place after they won 1-0 away to BARNSLEY. Bournemouth are on a total of 52 goals while Barnsley picked up their fourteenth blank and now two in a row. Our other team is WEST BROM in fifth place. They lost 2-0 away to Millwall and that is their twelfth blank and now two in a row. 

Meanwhile  HULL won 2-0 at home to SWANSEA and they are on a total of 28 goals. Swansea picked up their ninth blank and now two in a row. PRESTON drew 2-2 at home to Bristol City and they are on a total of 45 goals. READING picked up their eleventh blank score sheet as they lost 4-0 away to QPR. PETERBOROUGH lost 2-0 at home to SHEFFIELD UNITED and they have now had a total of fifteen blank score sheets. Sheffield have taken their goals total to 38. DERBY drew 2-2 at home to Birmingham to give them a total of 32 goals. CARDIFF won 2-1 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and they are on a total of 35 goals to Forest’s total of 42. 

LEAGUE ONE 

We have the top two teams here and they are now ROTHERHAM who have moved to the top as they win 2-0 away to Crewe. Rotherham are now on a total of 54 goals. WIGAN have moved down to second place after they drew 0-0 away to Cheltenham. Wigan have now had a total of four blank score sheets after a goal run of eleven games. 

In the Play-Offs we have three teams still with SUNDERLAND going down to third place after they lost 6-0 away to BOLTON. As Sunderland picked up their seventh blank after a goal run of fourteen games, Bolton picked up their highest result of the season. Bolton have taken their goals tally up to 44. WYCOMBE have moved down again to fifth place after they lost 1-0 at home to MK Dons. That is Wycombe eighth blank of the season. Oxford United are still in sixth place after their biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile PLYMOUTH won 3-1 away to Doncaster and they have extended their goal run to eleven games with a total of 58 goals. LINCOLN CITY lost 2-1 at home to BURTON ALBION. Lincoln are on a total of 35 goals while Burton are on 39. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY won 1-0 at home to IPSWICH and they are on a total of 39 goals. Ipswich picked up their ninth blank score sheet. 

LEAGUE TWO 

In the Play-Offs we have two teams this week. The highest team that we have here now are SUTTON UNITED who are down to fourth place this weekend. They won 2-0 away to CARISLE UNITED and they are on a total of 47 goals. Carlisle picked up their fifteenth blank of the season and now no goals in their last three games. SWINDON who are now down to seventh place after they drew 1-1 away to Colchester. Swindon are now on a total of 47 goals. 

Meanwhile EXETER CITY drew 0-0 at home against Hartlepool to pick up their eighth blank of the season. SALFORD CITY picked up their seventh blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 away to Northampton. STEVENAGE won 3-0 at home to Harrogate and they are now on a total of 36 goals. SCUNTHORPE are bottom of the league as they lost 1-0 away to Port Vale. That is Scunthopre's fourteenth blank of the season and now just two goals in their last six games.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES 

In the Premiership RANGERS drew 3-3 away to Ross County and they are now on a total of 60 goals and have extended their goal run to 25 games. CELTIC are now just two points behind Rangers as they get a late goal in their 1-0 home win against Dundee Utd. Celtic are on a total of 58 goals. HEARTS in third place won 2-0 at home to Motherwell and they are on a total of 49 goals and have now scored in all of their last six games. 

In the Championship KILMARNOCK are now in second place after they won 1-0 at home against Inverness CT. Kilmarnock are on a total of 37 goals.

In League Two KELTY HEARTS are ten points in front as they win 3-2 at home to Stranaer and they are now on a total of 60 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR won 2-1 at home to Elgin and they are on a total of 41 goals. 

Our on-form team are now RANGERS after scoring in all of their last twenty-five League/Cup games out of 27 games played. They have a total of 60 goals.

Our worst teams this week are CARLISLE UNITED and PETERBOROUGH after both teams have now picked up a total of fifteen blank score sheets. 

Our highest goal scorers in our 39th Season are now OXFORD UNITED as they won 7-2 away to Gillingham in the league in Week Twenty-Six. FULHAM have now scored seven goals twice this season. They first won 7-0 away to Blackburn Rovers in the league in Week Fourteen and they have also won 7-0 away to Reading in the league in Week Twenty-Four. MANCHESTER CITY winning 7-0 at home to Leeds Utd in the league in Week Twenty. CHELSEA won 7-0 at home to Norwich in the league in Week Twelve. BRENTFORD won 7-0 at home to Oldham in the third round of the Carabao/League Cup in Week Eight. 

LYANNA GRIMWOOD is still at the top this weekend as she picks up just one goal from the weekend. Lyanna has been top for two weeks and now three over the season. Her teams are Fulham, Manchester City and Sunderland. Lyanna is still just one goal in front of  Peter Wellard in second place this weekend. Peter’s teams are Chelsea, Fulham and Manchester City. 

At the other end at 113 we still have ZIGGY (John Wood) again this weekend which is now his twentieth consecutive weekend at the bottom and now twenty-two over the season. Ziggy picked up four goals from the week. His teams are Crystal Palace, Scunthorpe and Stenhousemuir.

World Cup 2022

The World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar this year and due to Qatar's intense summer heat there, this World Cup will be held with a reduced timeframe of around 28 days from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world and this will be the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan. The 2022 World Cup tournament will be the last to involve 32 national teams, as it will be increased to 48 teams scheduled for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The current World Cup champions are France. 

In the World Cup Final 2022 we now know a few of the countries that will be in Qatar next year. They are the host QATAR plus

Rangers Keep Going

In the Scottish Premiership, top of the table RANGERS keep their record going as they win 1-0 at home to Livingston. Rangers have now scored in all of their last twenty-four games and they are on a total of 57 goals. CELTIC in second place won 2-1 away to HEARTS in third place. Celtic are on a total of 57 goals while Hearts are on 47 goals. 

In the English Championship PRESTON won 2-0 away to WEST BROM and they are on a total of 43 goals. West Brom picked up blank number eleven.

Fifty Goal Ipswich

In the Championship PETERBOROUGH drew 2-2 away to Birmingham and that has taken their goals total up to 25 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST won 3-0 at home against BARNSLEY and that now gives them a total of 41 goals while Barnsley picked up their thirteenth blank of the season. SWANSEA drew 0-0 away to QPR and that is their eighth blank score sheet.

In League One it’s 50 goals for IPSWICH after they won 2-0 away to AFC Wimbledon. BURTON ALBION lost 1-0 at home to MK Dons and they have now had a total of seven score sheets after a goal run of nine games. PLYMOUTH drew 3-3 away to Fleetwood and they are now on a total of 55 goals.

In League Two SALFORD CITY won 2-0 away to Barrow and they are on a total of 35 goals. SCUNTHORPE lost 3-2 at home against Bristol Rovers. After a dry run of four games without a goal, Scunthorpe are now on a total of 21 goals.

In the Scottish Premiership ABERDEEN lost 1-0 away to St Mirren and that is their sixth blank score sheet of the season.

In League Two KELTY HEARTS, who are top of the table, lost 2-0 away to Elgin City. After a goal run of seven games, Kelty picked up their third blank of the season.

Week Twenty-Five

In Week Twenty-Five of the competition we had  our twenty-sixth winner of the season and it goes to ABBEY NEWMAN. Abbey won with a score of 8 goals and she picks up the full £5 Weekend Cash Prize Money. Abbey has been with Golden Goals for a total of nine years and she started back in the 2014/15 Season. In her first season Abbey finished in 82nd place with a total of 238 goals. Last season she finished with a total of 224 goals which left her in 97th place. Abbey like most of us have been up and down all season and her highest position is fifth place in Week One. She has picked up just two blank weekend score sheets and Manchester City is her best team to date. Abbey’s winning teams are

All but six players managed to pick up some midweek goals this week and the leader is pulling away from the rest of the pack this week. We now have forty-nine players that are nearer to that 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot this week. It was MANGO (Paul Moran) that picked up the most goals with a total of twelve. They came from Chelsea, Fulham and Rangers.

In second place we now have BOB SOPER moving up from third place with a total of 80 goals. In third place down from two is LOUIE HARRINGTON with a total of 78 goals. In fourth place with 71 goals we now have PETER PORTER up from five. In fifth place we now have down from four we have KEAMUS SETNA and joining him this week we have COLIN WEBB and JAMIE WOOD all on a total of 69 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

The highest score came from HEARTS with a total of five goals who played in the WILLIAM HILL SCOTTISH CUP third round. They won 5-0 away to non-league team Auchinicel Talbot and that has now taken their goals tally to 46 goals.   

PREMIER LEAGUE

MANCHESTER CITY are still leading the way even after they drew 1-1 away to Southampton. City are on a total of 65 goals and have now scored in all of their last fourteen games. LIVERPOOL are still in second place as they win 3-1 away to CRYSTAL PALCE. Liverpool are now on a total of 72 goals while Palace picked up goal number 33. CHELSEA are still in third place as they win 2-0 against London rivals TOTTENHAM. Chelsea are on a total of 60 goals as Tottenham picked up their eighth blank of the season. MANCHESTER UNITED have moved up to fourth place as they win 1-0 at home to WEST HAM with a very late goal. United are on a total of 37 goals while West Ham are down to fifth place picking up their sixth blank of the season after a goal run of seven games. WATFORD lost 3-0 at home to Norwich and that is their ninth blank score sheet. BRENTFORD lost 2-1 at home to WOLVES after going a goal up. Brentford are on a total of 42 goals as Wolves are on 28. ASTON VILLA are on 35 goals as they win 1-0 away to Everton. LEICESTER CITY drew 1-1 at home to BRIGHTON and that was their 45th goal of the season while Brighton hit goal number 31 and a goal run of seven games now. It’s all going wrong at ARSENAL as they drew 0-0 at home against Burnley to pick up their ninth blank of the season. Arsenal have now failed to score in their last four games.

Goal scoring FULHAM are still top here after they won 3-2 away to Stoke. Fulham are now on a total of 76 goals with 22 of them coming from their last four games. BOURNEMOUTH are in second place despite them losing 1-0 at home to HULL. Bournemouth have now had six blank score sheets while Hull picked up goal number 26.

In the Play-Offs we still have just one team and they are WEST BROM. They won 3-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH and they are now on a total of 35 goals. Borough picked up their fourteenth blank of the season.

Meanwhile BARNSLEY lost 2-1 away to Birmingham to pick up goal number 22 and are now bottom of the table. CARDIFF lost 3-2 away to Bristol City and they are on a total of 33 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST are on 38 goals as they win 2-1 at home to DERBY who are now on a total of 30 goals. READING lost 4-3 at home to Huddersfield and they have taken their goals total to 34. SHEFFIELD UNITED won 2-0 at home to Luton and they are on 36 goals. SWANSEA won 1-0 at home to PRESTON and that is goal number 37 for them while Preston pick up their ninth blank of the season.

We have the top two teams here and they are now WIGAN who have moved to the top as they win 3-2 at home to Gillingham. Portsmouth picked up their eighth blank score sheet and now two in a row and they have scored just one goal in their last four games.

In the Play-Offs we have three teams. they are ROTHERHAM in third place after they won 1-0 at home to Cheltenham.

IPSWICH won 2-1 at home to Accrington and they are on a total of 48 goals. PLYMOUTH lost 2-1 at home to LINCOLN CITY and they are on a total of 52 goals and have now scored in all of their last nine games. Lincoln have taken their goals tally up to 34. BOLTON drew 1-1 away to Shrewsbury and that is goal number 38 for them. 

LEAGUE TWO

The highest team that we have here now are SUTTON UNITED in third place. They drew 0-0 at home to Northampton and that is their fourth blank of the season after a goal run of twelve games.

In the Play-Offs we are left with just SWINDON who are now down to sixth place after they drew 1-1 at home to Bristol Rovers. Swindon are now on a total of 46 goals.

Meanwhile CARLISLE UNITED lost 3-0 away to Forest Green and that is their fourteenth blank and now two in a row. STEVENAGE drew 1-1 away to Hartlepool and they are on a total of 33 goals. After a goal run of six games, SALFORD CITY picked up their sixth blank of the season as they lost 3-0 at home to Colchester. SCUNTHORPE are now second from bottom after they lost 1-0 at home to Newport. They have now had a total of thirteen blank score sheets and now four in a row. EXETER CITY won 2-0 away to Walsall and they have taken their goals total to 41.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the WILLIAM HILL SCOTTISH CUP  third round we had five of our Scottish teams playing over the weekend and the good news is that we already know about Rangers and now Hearts but what of the others? Well we can add another three teams to the list. They are CELTIC who won 2-1 away to Alloa which now gives them a total of 55 goals. ABERDEEN as they win 3-0 at home to Edinburgh City. Aberdeen are now on a total of 30 goals. KELTY HEARTS won 1-0 at home to St Johnston and that is goal number 57. The team that went out of the cup was KILMARNOCK who lost 2-1 at home to Dundee Utd. Kilmarnock are on a total of 36 goals. 

Our on-form team are now RANGERS after scoring in all of their last twenty-three League/Cup games out of 25 games played. They have a total of 56 goals. 

Our worst teams this week are BOLTON, CARLISLE UNITED and PETERBOROUGH after all three teams have now picked up fourteen blank score sheets.

Scottish William Hill Cup Fourth Round

In the Scottish Cup fourth round, RANGERS are the first team through to the next round after they won 4-0 at home to Stirling. Rangers have now extended their goal run to twenty-three games and a total of 56 goals.

In the Premier League WATFORD picked up their ninth blank of the season as they lost 3-0 at home to Norwich. Watford have now dropped down into the relegation zone.

Carabao/League Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg

 

In their second leg semi-final game LIVERPOOL who drew 0-0 in their first leg with ARSENAL, have now booked their place in the final as they win 2-0 away. Liverpool won 2-0 on aggregate and they will be playing Chelsea in the final on 27th February. Liverpool have taken their goals total to 69 while Arsenal picked up their eighth blank and now three in a row.

Another Good Night for GG fans

In the Premier League MANCHESTER UNITED won 3-1 away to BRENTFORD and that has taken United’s goal tally up to 36. Brentford picked up goal number 41. LEICESTER CITY lost 3-2 at home to TOTTENHAM. Leicester are on a total of 44 goals and a goal run of nine games, while Tottenham move up to fifth place with a total of 34 goals. 

In the Championship, HULL have won their seventh league game out of twenty-six played as they beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 at home. Hull are on a total of 25 goals. READING lost 2-0 at home to Luton and that is their tenth blank of the season.

Great Time at Fulham

We had two of our games cancelled due to Covid last night but what a night it was for the rest that did play.

In the Premier League BRIGHTON drew 1-1 at home to CHELSEA and they are on a total of 30 goals and a goal run of six games. Chelsea picked up goal number 58. 

In the Championship FULHAM are on fire as they win 6-2 at home to Birmingham. Fulham are now five points in the lead and they are now on a total of 73 goals. They have scored a total of 20 goals in their last four games. PRESTON drew 2-2 at home to SHEFFIELD UNITED and are on a total of 41 goals. United after a two game dry spell, are now on a total of 34 goals. 

In League One PORTSMOUTH drew 0-0 away to AFC Wimbledon and that is their seventh blank of the season and now just one goal in their last three games. WIGAN are now on 52 goals as they win 2-1 away to Morecambe.

The Scottish Premier League are back in action after their sort winter break. The first team to play are CELTIC and they won 2-0 at home to Hibernian. Celtic are second in the league behind rivals Rangers and they are on a total of 53 goals.

Week Twenty-Four

In Week Twenty-Four of the competition we had our twenty-fifth winner of the season and it goes to SAMUEL STEPHENS. Samuel won with a score of 9 goals and he picks up the full £5 Weekend Cash Prize Money. Samuel is in his very first season with us and he has moved back in to the winning frame after his win. He has been as high as twentieth place in Week Seven. He has picked up a total of three blank weekend score sheets so far and his best team is Fulham. His winning teams are

We now have thirty-one players that are nearer to that 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot this week. We now have LYANNA GRIMWOOD in the lead with a new total of 80 goals. Lyanna teams are Fulham. Manchester City and Sunderland. In second place we have last weeks leader LOUIE HARRINGTON with a total of 78 goals. BOB SOPER moves up to third place up from six with a total of 69 goals. In fourth place with 67 goals we now have KEAMUS SETNA down from three. In fifth place we now have PETER PORTER down from four on a total of 66 goals. In Sixth place down from five we have  MICHAEL PEPPERRELL with a total of 64 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS 

We had all but eleven of our teams in action this weekend, but we had a couple of games that were cancelled due to Covid. Out of the ones that did play eleven failed to score any goals. The weekend average score went down from four goals last weekend to just 3 goals this weekend. The highest score came from FULHAM with a total of six goals. They won 6-2 at home to Bristol City. Fulham have had one hell of a week with netting seven in midweek. They are now on a total of 67 goals. 

Fulham are one of our original teams and became our third most voted team in our very first season. They finished on a total of 68 goals. Their highest end of season score came in the 2000/01 Season with 105 goals. It is the only time that they have hit 100 or more goals in a season. Last season which was our covid season, they finished the sort season with just 32 goals. This is Fulham’s seventeenth season with Golden Goals and over the years they have scored a total of 1130 goals to date. That gives them an average score of 66 goals per season. They have a total of eight votes this season.

PREMIER LEAGUE 

MANCHESTER CITY are leading they way as they win 1-0 at home to CHELSEA in third place. City are on a total of 64 goals and have now scored in all of their last thirteen games. Chelsea picked up their third blank of the season after a goal run of seven games. LIVERPOOL are in second place as they win 3-0 at home to BRENTFORD. Liverpool are now on a total of 67 goals while Brentford have now had a total of eight blank score sheets. WEST HAM are in fourth place but they lost 3-2 at home against Leeds. West Ham are on a total of 45 goals and a goal run of seven games. ASTON VILLA drew 2-2 at home to MANCHESTER UNITED after going two goals down. Villa have taken their goals total to 34 while United are on 33 goals. WATFORD drew 1-1 away to Newcastle and they are on 26 goals. WOLVES won 3-1 at home against Southampton. Wolves have taken their goals tally to 26. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

Fulham are top here after their big win with BOURNEMOUTH in second place. They lost 3-2 away to Luton. Bournemouth are on 51 goals now. 

In the Play-Offs we have just one team and they are WEST BROM. They lost 1-0 away to QPR to pick up their tenth blank of the season. 

Meanwhile CARDIFF CITY picked up their twelfth blank of the season as they lost 1-0 at home to Blackburn Rovers. DERBY are now second from bottom after they won 2-0 at home to SHEFFIELD UNITED. Derby are on a total of 29 goals. Sheffield picked up their ninth blank and now two in a row. SWANSEA drew 1-1 away to Huddersfield and they are on a total of 36 goals. READING lost 2-1 away to Middlesbrough and that is goal number 31 for them. NOTTINGHAM FOREST won 1-0 away to Millwall and are on 36 goals. PETERBOROUGH lost 4-1 at home to Coventry and they are on a total of 23 goals. PRESTON drew 1-1 at home to Birmingham and they are on 39 goals. HULL picked up their thirteenth blank of the season after they lost 2-0 at home against Stoke. 

LEAGUE ONE

We have the two teams here and they are WYCOMBE who are now top as they win 2-0 at home to OXFORD UNITED. Wycombe are on a total of 49 goals. Oxford picked up their seventh blank and now two in a row. SUNDERLAND are still in second place after they drew 1-1 away to Accrington. Sunderland are on a total of 60 goals and a goal run of thirteen games. 

In the Play-Offs we have three teams. they are ROTHERHAM down to third place after they lost 1-0 away to Fleetwood. Rotherham have now had a total of six blank score sheets to date. WIGAN are still in fourth place as they win 2-1 away to Doncaster and they are on 50 goals and have now scored in all of their last nine games. PLYMOUTH are still in sixth place as they lost 4-2 away to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Plymouth are on a total of 51 goals and a goal run of eight games. Wednesday who failed to score in their previous two games, picked up their biggest result of the season and that has taken their goals tally up to 36.

Meanwhile BOLTON won 2-0 at home to IPSWICH and they are on 37 goals while Ipswich picked up their eighth blank of the season. CHARLTON drew 1-1 away to Cheltenham and they are on a total of 38 goals. BURTON ALBION are on 36 goals as they win 3-1 away to Gillingham. Burton have now scored in all of their last eight games. LINCOLN CITY lost 1-0 at home to Cambridge Utd with a very late goal. Lincoln picked up their eleventh blank of the season. PORTSMOUTH picked up goal number 32 as they lost 2-1 at home to MK Dons.  

LEAGUE TWO 

In the Play-Offs we have SWINDON who are now in fourth place as they win 3-1 away to Port Vale. Swindon are now on a total of 45 goals. SUTTON UNITED have moved down to fifth place after they drew 3-3 away to STEVENAGE. Sutton are now on a total of 42 goals and a goal run of eleven games. Stevenage have taken their goals total up to 30.

Meanwhile SALFORD CITY lost 2-1 away to Bradford and they are now on a total of 32 goals. CARLISLE drew 1-1 at home to Crawley and they are on a total of 22 goals. EXETER won 2-1 at home to SCUNTHORPE and are on 39 goals. Scunthorpe are second from bottom and have now had a total of twelve blank score sheets and now three in a row.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

We had just two of our Scottish teams playing over the weekend as the Premiership are still in their winter break. 

In League Two KELTY HEARTS remained top here after they drew 2-2 at home to Edinburgh City. Kelty are now on a total of 56 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR lost 2-0 at home to Cowdenbeath and that is their sixth blank of the season after a goal run of six games.

Our on-form team are now RANGERS after scoring in all of their last twenty-one League/Cup games out of 23 games played. They have a total of 51 goals. 

Our worst team this week are BOLTON after they have now picked up fourteen blank score sheets out of twenty-nine league/cup games played. 

Our highest goal scorers in our 39th Season are FULHAM who have now scored seven goals twice this season. They first won 7-0 away to Blackburn Rovers in the league in Week Fourteen and now they have won 7-0 away to Reading in the league in Week Twenty-Four. MANCHESTER CITY winning 7-0 at home to Leeds Utd in the league in Week Twenty. CHELSEA won 7-0 at home to Norwich in the league in Week Twelve. BRENTFORD won 7-0 at home to Oldham in the third round of the Carabao/League Cup in Week Eight. . 

KEAMUS SETNA our 2005/06 Champion is now celebrating his fourth consecutive weekend the top. Keamus picked up a total of six goals over the week. His teams are Liverpool Manchester City and Sunderland. Keamus is now really joint leader on goal difference with Lyanna Grimwood who moves up to second place this weekend. Lyanna has Fulham, Manchester City and Sunderland. 

At the other end at 113 we still have ZIGGY (John Wood) again this weekend which is now his eighteenth consecutive weekend at the bottom and now twenty over the season. Ziggy picked up one goal from midweek. His teams are Crystal Palace, Scunthorpe and Stenhousemuir.
