Midweek Results

We had thirteen of our teams in action over the midweek period of which five of them failed to score any goals. Most of the action came from the English championship League. CARDIFF had to play twice over midweek. First they drew 1-1 away to Brighton to pick up goal number 18 and then they lost 1-0 away to Blackpool and have now had a total of four blank score sheets this season out of fourteen games played.

The highest score that we had come from FULHAM as they win 4-0 at home against Bolton. This is Fulham’s highest score to date and they are now on 15 goals. This is Fulham’s 12th Season with Golden Goals and their highest end of season score came from our 2000/01 Season with 105 goals. DERBY picked up another two goals as they win 2-0 at home to Bournemouth. Derby are now on 24 goals. NORWICH picked up their third blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 at home to CHARLTON. Charlton netted goal number 17. ROTHERHAM are now on 9 goals as they win 2-0 at home to Blackburn. WATFORD won 2-1 at home to Brentford and are on a goals total of 21 while WIGAN picked up another blank score sheet, four over the season and now two in a row. They drew 0-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST who picked up their third blank score sheet and two in a row. LEEDS and READING both picked up their fourth blank score sheet each as they drew 0-0. It’s 14 goals for WOLVES as they lost 3-1 at home against Huddersfield.

In Scotland RANGERS picked up goal number 23 but lost 3-1 at home to Hibernian.
