TOTTENHAM beat Aston Villa 3-1 last night to move them up into 5th
place in the premiership. Tottenham have now won just five of their eleven
league games and the three goals takes their goals total to 20.
Tottenham are in their 32nd
season with Golden Goals and they are our 11th most voted team
back in our very first season of 1983/84 where they finished on a total of 71 goals.
Their highest score came in 1986/87 with a total of 109 goals. This is the only
season that they have netted over 100 goals. Last season they finished on 75
goals. Over the seasons they have netted a total of 2,261 goals which gives
them an average score of 70 goals per season to date. This season they have
just three votes and they have had a total of three blank score sheets out of
twelve games played.
