Newcastle Hit Six

EVERTON won their third league game on Monday night with a 3-0 away win against Sunderland. That result takes them up to third place in the premiership just behind Chelsea both are now on ten points. Everton take their goals tally to 11 and they have scored in all of their five games played this season. They have just one vote this season. Everton are our 41st voted team in Golden Goals and in their very first season they finished on their highest score of 111 goals in the 1985/86 Season. Last season they finished on a total of 82 goals. This is their 18th Season with us and over the years they have netted a total of 1185 goals which gives them an average score of 65 goals per season.

Last night we had the English Championship in action and it was another great night for our Golden Goals teams. The highest score of the night went to NEWCASTLE who won 6-0 away to QUEENS PARK RANGERS not only that but was also their biggest result of the season. Newcastle are now on a total of 18 goals while Rangers picked up their second blank of the season. After a two game dry spell for BRIGHTON they picked up goal number 17 as they won 1-0 at home to Huddersfield. DERBY have now picked up their third blank in a row and their sixth of the season as they lost 1-0 at home to Ipswich. LEEDS UTD won 2-1 at home against Blackburn and they are now on 10 goals while NORWICH are on 17 goals as they win 2-1 at home to Wigan. PRESTON picked up their biggest score of the season as they won 3-0 at home to CARDIFF to take their goals tally to 10 goals while Cardiff picked up their fifth blank score sheet. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY also picked up their highest score as they won 3-2 at home to Bristol City.  Wednesday are now on a total of 9 goals. WOLVES have now only scored one goal in their last three games as they lost 4-0 at home to Barnsley. That was Wolves third blank of the season.

Just one League One result where BRISTOL ROVERS drew 1-1 at home to WALSALL to get goal number 11 while Walsall hit goal number eight.
