Liverpool Out of the League Cup

In the Third Round of the English League Cup we had fourteen of our Golden Goals teams in action and out of them nine have made it through to the next round.
We did get a few shocks of the night where LEICESTER CITY beat LIVERPOOL 2-0 at home. City take their goals tally to 13 goals while Liverpool picked up their second blank score sheet and now just one goal in their last three games. CRYSTAL PALACE have picked up their first win of the season and a place in the next round of the cup as they win 1-0 at home to Huddersfield. After failing not to score in their last three games, Palace have taken their goals total to three.
Meanwhile ASTON VILLA are out as they lost 2-0 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH to pick up their fourth blank score sheet. Brough have taken their goals total to 15. BOURNEMOUTH won 1-0 at home against Brighton in extra time and that is their sixth goal of the season. Also through are NORWICH. They won 3-1 away to BRENTFORD and are now on 18 goals while Brentford hit goal number 15. TOTTENHAM won just 1-0 at home to Barnsley and that is goal number 8. WEST HAM are through as they picked up their biggest win of the season by beating BOLTON 3-0 at home. West Ham are now on a total of 9 goals while Bolton are out and have now picked up their fifth blank score sheet and now four games in a row. WOLVES are on 17 goals as they win a place in the next round by beating Bristol Rovers 1-0 at home after extra time had been played. LEEDS UNITED drew 2-2 after the full 90 minutes and then they were still at the same result after extra time but they finally beat Burnley 5-3 on penalties. READING are out of the cup as they lost 2-0 at home to Swansea to pick up their fourth blank of the season.

We had just one league result from League One where WIGAN won 1-0 at home to Northampton and they are now on a total of 18 goals.
