Goals are still keeping an eye on Celtic this season to see if they can
beat last season’s record run of playing a total of 47 league/cup games and scoring
a total of 134 goals. That record was to score in all of their league and their
two domestic cup competitions without getting a blank score sheet.
In week thirteen at this stage
last season Celtic had played a total of fifteen league/cup games and netted a
total of 39 goals. This Season Celtic have played fourteen games and scored a
total of 38 goals. So although they have played one game less than at this stage
last season, they are just a goal behind so far to date.
