Week Thirteen

In Week Thirteen of the competition we have had another three winners to share the cash on a total of 8 goals, which is the lowest score to win yet. Two of our winners picked up their very first win of the season and that brings our winners total to 22 while our third picked up his second win. Our winners are AMANDA MORRISON, BOB SOPER and ZIGGY (John Wood).
Amanda is in her third season with Golden Goals and she is the fourth lady to win this season. In her first season in 2015/16, Amanda finished in 54th place out of 119 on a total of 252 goals.  Last season she finished in 102nd place with 263 goals. This season Amanda has picked up her highest score to date and the very first lot of cash since she started with us. First place is her highest to date in week one. With no blank score sheets, Amanda’s best team is Manchester City. Bob has picked up his second win since week six where he won the first Rollover of the season. He has had a total of three blank score sheets and his best team is Manchester City. This week is Bob’s highest position of the season. John has been with the competition for twenty-one seasons and I would like to thank him for his support over the years. John started with us back in the 1997/98 Season on where he finished in 87th place on 209 goals he had to share a weekend win and picked up just 57 pence. How we have changed since then?. Last season John with Ziggy finished in 129th place on 224 goals picking up three wins worth just under £15 in cash. This season John/Ziggy has had just one blank score sheet and his highest position is number nine in week one. His best team is Rangers. Our winners teams are
