Week Twenty-Five

In Week Twenty-Five of the competition and we had two players that have to share this weekends jackpot of £6 on a score of 15 goals. They are STEPHANIE CHRISTIE and MANGO (Paul Moran) both are first time winners this season which now brings our winners total to thirty-two.
Stephanie is in her very first season with the competition and we thank her very much for joining in our biggest season. Stephanie has picked up her personal best score this weekend and this is the highest that she has been since week one where she started in 43rd place. Stephanie has picked up just three blank score sheets so far and she now becomes our fifth lady winner. Paul  has been with Golden Goals for a hell of a long time and I thank him for being one of our longest serving players. But in the 1996/97 Season, Paul finished in 8th place on a total of 282 goals and picking up over £13 in cash. Last season he finished in 100th place on 264 goals. This season Paul has not had much joy with this one as his highest position is 59th place in week one. Paul has picked up four blank score sheet to date and this is also his person best score this season. Both of our winners have Celtic as their best team, and the rest of their combinations are

Stephanie  ARSENAL 4, CELTIC 5, FULHAM 6
Paul  CELTIC 5, CHELSEA 4, FULHAM 6

WEEKEND RESULTS
We have had a very poor start to 2018 but how that has changed this weekend as the average score shot up from three goals last weekend to 9 goals this weekend.
