Week Fifteen

In Week Fifteen of the competition we had our eighteenth winner of the season who won on a score of  9 goals. Our winner is JOHN FILTNESS and he collects the full £6 cash prize money this weekend.
John has been with Golden Goals for a total of eight seasons now. He first started playing in the 2012/13 Season on where he finished in 88th place out of 91 on a total of  206 goals. He picked up one weekend win. Last season John finished rock bottom with 188 goals. This season he has been as high as 67th place in Week One and has only been on the third page once. John has picked up just one blank score sheet to date and his best team is Rangers. Here are his teams

FOREST GREEN ROVERS 4, LIVERPOOL 3, RANGERS 2

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Twenty-eight of us picked up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has changed slightly once more. We had three players to pick up the most goals this week with six goals each. They are JAMES BLYTH, PETER JEFFREY and ANTHONY PIRES. All three had Portsmouth and West Brom as part of their combos.
So still in the lead with a total of 38 goals we have COLIN WEBB (2). In second place we still have JACQUI WILLIAMS but she is now with RICHARD WILLIAMS moving up from six, both on a total of 36 goals. In third place up we still have RYAN WILLIAMS with 35 goals. In sixth place both still on 32 goals we still have MIKE HARRINGTON and PHIL REEVE.

WEEKEND RESULTS
Only one of our teams were without a game over the weekend and another nine that failed to score any goals. Our top teams are not hitting them big score’s once again this weekend. The weekends average score fell from six goals of last weekend to just 4 goals this weekend. But the good news is that we all once again picked up goals.
