Midweek Results

We had twenty-six of our teams in action and they were all involved in league games.
In the Championship, after two games without a goal, LEEDS UNITED drew 1-1 away to BRENTFORD after going a goal down. Leeds are now on 52 goals while Brentford hit goal number 55. BARNSLEY lost 1-0 at home to BIRMINGHAM to pick up their eleventh blank of the season as Birmingham take their goals total to 45. BLACKBURN ROVERS won 3-0 at home to Hull and they are now on 51 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST lost 1-0 at home to Charlton and that is their seventh blank score sheet. QUEENS PARK RANGERS picked up their tenth blank score sheet and now three in a row after they drew 0-0 away to Swansea. MIDDLESBROUGH drew 2-2 away to Wigan and they are now on 38 goals.

In League One, PETERBOROUGH have moved up to second place after they win 4-0 at home to SOUTHEND. With their third consecutive four goals, Borough are now on a total of 72 goals. Southend picked up their tenth blank of the season. IPSWICH picked up their tenth blank score sheet and now just four goals in their last seven games as they drew 0-0 away to AFC Wimbledon. BLACKPOOL lost 3-2 at home to Gillingham and they are now on a total of 49 goals. PORTSMOUTH lost 1-0 away to Coventry and that is their sixth blank of the season after a goal run of twenty-one games. DONCASTER won 2-1 at home to bottom of the table Bolton. Doncaster are now on 49 goals. LINCOLN CITY drew 1-1 at home to MK DONS and they are now on 42 goals but they have just scored two goals in their last five games. The Dons are now on 39. ACCRINGTON STANLEY are now on 42 goals as they win 2-0 away to Shrewsbury. SUNDERLAND won 3-0 at home to Rochdale and that has taken their goals tally up to 50 goals.

In League Two, BRADFORD CITY won 3-1 at home to Stevenage and they are now on 41 goals. Ten men OLDHAM lost 5-1 away to Exeter and that is their 40th goal of the season. FOREST GREEN ROVERS are now on 46 goals as they lost 3-2 at home to Port vale. LEYTON ORIENT won 2-1 at home to MANSFIELD and they are now on 43 to Mansfield’s 48 and they have now scored in all of their last seven games. SALFORD CITY lost 3-2 at home to PLYMOUTH and they are now on a total of 45 goals while Plymouth are on 57. SCUNTHORPE lost 2-0 at home to Cambridge Utd and that is their tenth blank score sheet.
