Leicester City Top for Now

In the Premier League, LEICESTER CITY move to the top after they won 2-0 at home against CHELSEA. Leicester have now scored in all of their last seven games and they are now on a total of 39 goals. Chelsea After a goal run of seven games picked up their fifth blank of the season. WEST HAM won 2-1 at home to WEST BROM. West Ham have moved up to seventh place with a total of 37 goals. West Brom are on 22 goals.

In the Championship, after a three game dry spell, DEBRY won 1-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH to pick up goal number 16 while Bournemouth picked up their seventh and now two games in a row without a goal. It’s 40 goals for READING as they win 3-0 at home to Coventry. ROTHERHAM drew 3-3 at home to STOKE and they are now on a total of 25 goals and have now scored in all of their last six games. Stoke are on 34 goals. It’s 30 goals for WATFORD as they win 1-0 at home to Barnsley. 

In League One, HULL have moved to the top after they won 3-0 at home to ACCRINGTON STANLEY. Hull are on 41 goals while Accrington picked up their fifth blank and now two in a row. PETERBOROUGH won 2-1 at home to CHARLTON after going a goal down. Both Borough and Charlton are on a total of 38 goals each. CREWE won 3-2 at home to Bristol Rovers and they are now on a total of 37 goals. Crewe have now scored in all of their last ten games. FLEETWOOD lost 3-1 away to MK Dons but they are now on a total of 36 goals. It’s 50 goals for PORTSMOUTH as they won 4-0 at home to AFC Wimbledon. SUNDERLAND lost 2-1 at home to PLYMOUTH and they are on 28 goals to Plymouth’s 42. 

In League Two, CHELTENHAM drew 1-1 at home to Newport and that is their 41st goal of the season. HARROGATE picked up their tenth blank of the season after they drew 0-0 at home to EXETER. Exeter picked up their fifth blank of the season. SOUTHEND are on 18 goals as they lost 2-1 at home to Cambridge Utd. After two games without a goal, TRANMERE won 3-2 at home to Forest Green. Tranmere are now on a total of 30 goals.
